  1. Good tips. It takes ages to get out to the mainland, unless you do some exploring on your own. I took out 100k as soon as I got the e-mail, and 500k as soon as I got the next one. I have 2 drivers with their own trucks, a garage in London for them, and teh basic crapshack in Birmingham for me. It's pretty much turned into a game of trying to make enough to cover the loan payments when they come in now
  2. I prefer the 27, better FFB, and the sequential on the 25 sacrificed build quality. Plus, it does have the paddle shifters, so unless you're SERIOUSLY into GT/rally sims, it's not much of a loss to not have the sequential.
  3. Damnit. It's been raining for two weeks here, and now a hurricane? Mother Nature's a cold blank.
  4. Yeh, the deadzone is ridiculous, but if you lower the rotation to ~360 degrees, it's sort of playable And yeah, Chilicoke's mods are epic :P
  5. His secret is Cheat Engine 6.2, it seems.
  6. Good point. Thanks for the insight
  7. Damn. I guess there's no hope to export the map as OBJ or similar then?
  8. For the physics mod? Mirrored on my Dropbox for ya: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/35400504/Realistic_Physics_Mod_v11_1350822386_1332.zip
  9. Yeh, the worst is when they try to merge. They sit there for ages for no apparent reason, and then when one goes, they all go. I've had more than one 10 car pile-up from that crap.
  10. You should work on TDU1 map modding. Even if it's just to write a guide or something Cool stuff with the entities, how far do you think you are from actually importing a self made map? EDIT: Also, are you currently able to export/convert the map from TDU2? I have an idea.
  11. Saw someone's Rainmeter skinning thread earlier and decided that I was tired of looking at the mess of a desktop I had before. EDIT: Changed it a bit. Any ideas for a better background?
  12. Let's not turn this into a little war, lads. DudeTheMan, you got the link to the download Nobby/DonnieBrasco, there was no need for any of it to carry on.
  13. Just figured out how to make texture mods for this. StokeD 4 REVOLUTION: (Click to enlarge) http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w41/acid44/th_ets2_00007.png http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w41/acid44/th_ets2_00008.png http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w41/acid44/th_ets2_00009.png EDIT: Added the file, in case anyone's interested. Extract to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod". May vary by OS
  14. I have no idea what just happened here. That's not to say I don't like it though, coolstuff.
  15. It means that the model is converted from Forza 4. That's the link I got the mod from yesterday, so it will work.
  16. I had trouble finding the download page too. Here it is: McLaren F1 Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Ìîäû, ïàò÷è, Âèíèëû, íîâîñòè
  17. I'm fairly sure that's against the rules here, you'll have to download it yourself.
  18. Download it from lalalalalalalalala if it's available there EDIT: Ha, nice filter :P
  19. It's not like it hasn't been done before, there are private servers for just about every game out there, same goes for mods. Most of TDU has been cracked and is moddable, if the right fans got involved, I think it would be entirely possible.
  20. Put a bunch of programmers in a room together and you'd just end up with a bunch of half-dead coffee overdosers after a week :P @Djey - Reverse engineering is what I meant, but I see your point about the fan base, that does make it sort of out of the question. @Scoob - For the longest time, I've been thinking that, and even collaborated with a few people to get something started. The problem is, the difference between having an idea, and it actually adding up to something, in the games industry, is massive. Even with well experienced people. Getting things done is easy, getting things together is where it gets difficult.
  21. Like I said, it would be a lot more difficult than I made it sound in that post, but I don't think it would be impossible.
  22. The way I see it, all it should take to create our own server is a decent programmer to figure out the software, and somewhere to host/funds for hosting. After the software is figured out, we could just change the windows Hosts file to redirect TDU to the new server. I know I'm making it sound a lot simpler than it is, but all the variables of the server should have something pointing to them in the game's core files, else the game wouldn't know what to do. So there should be a way to do this, right?
  23. So they're down for good then? Guess our hopes of a last cruise are dead and gone :(
