  1. Would be nice to see EU roadrules for a change, almost all locations sofar are inspired on US locations, and if it has EU it doesn't have roadrules, traffic lights etc (NFS5 was EU but didn't have traffic lights).
  2. Then it has to be limited to OEM carmanufacturer options, like the Exterior Carbon Packs of MB (carbon details and mirror housings) or bodykits which make a normal Audi look like an Audi S model.
  3. Imo the Brabus rim is by far not the rim in concern, it has wayyy too much differences in design. But it's true mine wasn't the correct counterpart, Northldn1 has found the true one. It doesn't matter that much though what brand it is, my main concern is, it's NOT a Lotus-rim, let alone an Esprit-S3 rim, that generation Esprit didn't even have spokerims in the modern style. The fact I think it's an Audi rim only is a detail, if the Lotus had the triple-5-spoke SL63 rims it's still the main point the rims are not Esprit S3.
  4. Cliffdriving is a must. Ever since I played Colin McRae 3, my gamingprinciple is to wreck everything once I find out there's a damagemodel. Luckilly one of the Finnish stages in CMR3 had a nice stretch with a 90-degree turn at the end, on top of a cliff, with a huge lake below it. Ah, memories...
  5. EDIT: I know for sure these rims are not Lotus Esprit rims, they look too modern for an 80's Esprit and they have no Lotus logo. They look an awful lot like these, which are R8's:
  6. Another notice which I had for a while too, concerning the pop-up spoilers: Is there an override option to raise it? In the Cars & Locations trailer (with the classical music) you can clearly see the thing goes up when the car is not braking. Is that an override-indication or is that a fault in the triggering of the spoiler? EDIT: and this could be added too, somebody else indicated it earlier but I don't see it in this list: The Esprit has Audi-rims.
  7. So? I remember Brazil and Italy being 2 of the best teams ever, and now look what happened :p You know how they say that? Previously reached results are no guarantee for the future. If there's one example in the world confirming this, it's the World Cup of 2010. All big countries went out early (except germany and spain), and all the spoiled starplayers were absolutely nothing. It seems that an octopus got famous with this World Cup. His name is Paul and he resides in a German Sea Life park. Before every game of Germany, they put two small crates in his tank, each containing one chunk of food (both the same food). The crate he'd try to open first would be the winner, and sofar he was correct in quite a lot of predictions, including the yesterday loss against Spain. Saturday he's going to predict Holland-Spain. They say it's already known and Holland will win, but those messages are fake and the pictures that go with it are also fake.
  8. They could be unlockable for extreme progress: driving 2 million km's, own all cars in the game *apart from the clubcars ofcourse*, or you should have a balance of like 50 million, or having won X races (to make it hard, include a considerable amount of online races).
  9. Somebody lifted the right rock under which the remaining thousand votes were. :p
  10. Taking another look at the trailer, I believe the laptop icon might indicate a way to send messages to friends or find out latest statistics on them. It's a small addressbook with an MSN-ish puppet on the left page and a few lines on the right page, sort of like a small contactlist.
  11. Good on the road? It's a car, cars are built to be on the road :p I dunno how it performs offroad, but I think it's poor, just like other big SUV's. The Cayenne and ML are no offroad heroes either.
  12. Well, I suppose we need at least one car to drive off the cliffs. Let the X6M be ingame!
  13. It's a negative side-effect of being mentioned by that Lee Kirton in the TDU2 interviews. They think it's important place over here (which it is) so they come here. More threads = more clear, or at least that's what they will think.
  14. It's gold so he must be important.. maybe a club president?
  15. Holy brown badness! That was one big rock that has been lifted up... *Now we need to make another fake email to let all those people vote for fuelling in TDU2...*
  16. I have another notice, which mainly comes from a friend of mine who loves the DBS. He wonders why Eden haven't given the DBS a navigation screen. For those who wonder, it should come out of the top of the dashboard (see here), but the TDU2 DBS dashboard has the covercap closed and it's unlikely they'll have an animation for that. And another notice from my side: Do ingame clocks (including those in cars) work? Sofar I haven't seen any confirmation of this yet. It's a detail alongside with instrument illumination which makes a big difference to the ingame experience, that you can look at clocks what time it is instead of having to go to mapmode or something like that.
  17. It was to expect though, when you have see people ask for stuff like ricing and dieselpowered slow luggish pickup trucks which turn the sky darker than Mount St. Helens.
  18. I don't want the X6M and X1, ugly cars only made to cash in more and to dry out a new fashion in germany. I dunno what they'll do with an X3, that needs a new competitor like the Q5 or GLK.
  19. Nothing special, just a mention of the most recent trailer.
  20. For me it's nothing more than an Opel. :p
  21. Eh wrong, Vauxhall = Opel. Nice logo though. :p Say what? :p
  22. The Opel GT is a Saturn Sky so I dunno what they want to start with that. Opel Speedster/Vauxhal VX220 could fit in a Lotus Elise class as it was in NFS6 HP2.
  23. Yep, I think that's the only way to do it. Keep racing some more and perhaps discovering roads helps too, and check the map now and then for that race.
  24. Yep, the cars still have to be bought by the club, but once bought, all players can have it at the same time. It's like a lease-contract: your company buys a specific car, in the same amount as employees the company has. It was a response to all initial negative feedback on the idea you had to make reservations.
  25. UPDATE: Atari confirm rumour as FALSE EDIT: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/09/rumorong-test-drive-unlimited-servers-not-going-offline-next-ye/ ORIGINAL POST: I think it was mentioned somewhere already, now TDU-Central has an article on it: *A mod could move this to the general TDU1 news section, I am no staffmember so I can't start threads there.
