FREE DLC Exploration Pack for Consoles. (Xbox 360/PS3 OUT!)
CLR-GTR replied to Eudemon's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Modding still has to start. The first steps have been taken a few months ago, I think it's save to say the first user-created cars will show up before christmas.- 99 replies

ASSUMING?!?! That's absolutely it, that clearly shows they don't give cowpie about their product. Assuming...- 99 replies

It's better to read here and be confused than to read the nonsense of TDU2.com's forum and be angry of it.

The connections for the PC version still suck jewels. Last night tried to connect to three friends who drove together, all three dutch as well, and the game only connected me to one of em, for a max of 30 seconds. It's starting to show Atari has been giving false info throughout about 50% of the year between TDU2's announcement and TDU2's release. Very good physics from a scratchbuilt engine, entirely re-engineered server stuff for a better online experience, regular updates, the carlist and indication of brands, types and carcount... All false/very incorrect. I also am not bothering with the CRC. I've been in there for two times, once after trying to connect to a friend, the other time to look how it's inside. With the way TDU2 is getting hacked from every direction and Atari/Eden not having a clue, not caring, not willing to fix it, I'm not even trying anything there.

Why Anti Socialism amonst online players?
CLR-GTR replied to oshaylinux's topic in Driving & Racing Games
I'm also a bit anti social, but I can't help it with the people I keep meeting. They are only foreigners who don't talk english (I only talk english or dutch, my german is better in understanding than speaking), or noobs who crash on purpose into me when I drive normal, and they keep challenging you around 10-17 times before YOU give up and go to mapmode. Other than that I find I have enough friends in TDU2 now, I can't always be online and if I'd have 10 people inviting me at the same time, how the heck should I solve that? -
70 wins... I'll kiss our club goodbye then.

Do you have 10.000 XP points? You need 5 million and 10.000 XP to get to the next clubtype.

So funny, they say they have been sent out for approval by MS and Sony, but that's what they said a few months ago when it got released for PC.

The other location is a ''hope-so'', they used to say early in the development that they would consider anything, including new locations, if the demand would be big enough. I really won't hope they're going for more Solar Failmentship events with more bad voice-acting.

I never heard him talking about an XJ220, and the F50 was in Rabcat's TDU2 portfolio.

Old list, those are file entries in TDU2, although it also contained entries for bikes, including offroad bikes. I am rather sure they won't come. With the current rate of releasing updates (and Atari won't speed it up), can you imagine how long it would take for all that to be released? They don't even have the money to license all that stuff, let alone the Lambo's.

Then the only other option is to play music on something else than a pc, like putting some speakers on your mp3 player, or putting on the radio. TDU2 had many good and much used features cut out for no reason, custom radio stations was among that.

Ps3 DLC ( I Bought a car and I can't find it! )
CLR-GTR replied to Crazee's topic in Driving & Racing Games
It should appear in the Used Car Dealer, but you need some space in there. There is somehow room for 8 cars, while only 4 slots are used. If for example you never collected the won duelcars or wreckcars, they will be filling up those slots preventing a downloaded car to get there. -
And RUF, and Pagani. Ye it's sad, but there's nothing that can be done about it. Oh in addition I don't think that recent patch, server side or something?, has done anything good. Yesterday I tried to do a cruise with 4 other guys, it was as if we played Fuel in multiplayer. It took us half an hour of continuous inviting, accepting, reinviting, reaccepting, teleporting through map and so on to eventually finally see eachother. The problem of selecting your friends or accepting their invites, only to be thrown in a session full of random noobs seems a problem Atari and Eden will never fix. They just don't do anything out there!!!!! They're really not doing anything at all!!!

Driver San Francisco had a new trailer released showing 6 of the cars in the game. Note that the game will contain OVER 120 LICENSED cars! There ya go.

Not really, they're owned by Atari. They wanna choose their own dev, they need to start a long procedure of convincing Atari they should sell Eden, and then they also need to do an at least just as long procedure to convince another publisher to take over the title and the studio. @oshaylinux: Eden can be blamed for TDU2's execution, not entirely but they still can. It's anybody's guess why car performances are so horribly wrong compared to the specs they enter, and Eden in some cases lacked skill or experience.

I was not entirely, but pretty much, sure about that, that's why I said that. I'm not claiming they say it's their title while it's not. @Diablo: care to say what is wrong exactly? Somebody asked: do they work on another game now? I say they did in the past but they most likely don't at this moment, and they shouldn't. I'm convinced Eden can't work on multiple projects at the same time, especially not with the man power they have now, and TDU2 is the actual project so they have to continue work on that first before resorting to development of an other game, or they'll end up with two titles with poor support and execution of the concept because they have too little manpower to maintain two big titles. This to me does not really sound like a lie or anything, it's my point of view, so I don't know what you're on about what's misinformation.

Eden also claims to have Alone in the Dark as seen on their website but I doubt they have anything to work on now. And they shouldn't have, at all. They promised a lot but sofar haven't fully delivered yet for TDU2, let them do that first, then they can mess around with other games again.
