  1. Assassins Creed 2 (Feathers), Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic, Shadow and Silver's stories), Forza Motorsports 3 (Finishing Event list), Need for Speed Undercover (Completed, just cruising), Dead or Alive 4 (Multiplayer, survival and training), Dragonball Z: Raging Blast (Story mode), Saint's Row 2 (Extra activities), Ninja Gaiden 2 (Story), God of War III (Story) and Grand Theft Auto IV (Lost and Damned, Ballad of Gay Tony and extra activities). Playing through Asphault Assault 5 on my Ipod Touch also. I've been jumping back and forth between games I haven't done anything in or am still missing a lot of stuff in since there isn't anything worth getting at the moment. Even though Sonic load times suck, I still like Sonic and want to beat that stupid game. But I'm addicted to Dead or Alive 4 at the moment.
  2. This is the best news released by these guys after hearing nothing for so long. Get it done properly and then release it. Good.
  3. 2005 Acura NSX - Imola Orange Pearl 2008 Acura RL A-Spec - Nighthawk Black Pearl 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - Verde Ithaca Tricoat 2009 Aston Martin DBS - British Racing Green 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG - Obsidian Black Metallic I couldn't find the proper colours for all of them...
  4. Bentley Mulsanne and GT are in the new Driver game...I have high hopes here now! However, I'm losing hope on hearing anything new now...and because of it, I'm losing interest..
  5. Remember though that TDU originally said 120 cars, but only 90 were on disc, rest would come as DLC...so I wouldn't be surprised if something like that occurred again, just wondering when we'll hear stuff now, haha. Been a while since we got any news at all. The assumption list above, is probably relatively accurate with more going towards sports cars and less towards luxury sedans. Plus he mentioned a few BMW's, which if we assume is not in, frees up more space. I'd also say that we'll get probably just the Bentley GT if we do get a Bentley, I don't see Rolls Royce or any other Bentley's making it based off what we've seen with licenses with other games. So that frees up even more space for cars...given that we don't have race cars or need to pad the car list, I'd change those BMW's, Rolls and other stuff mentioned to some old school cars and that's probably the entire list.
  6. I think the best way to do it, would be that as a club as a whole you put the money down to buy the car. (they have this already). BUT, once your club has the car, you can either use it from the clubhouse, AND/OR be able to purchase one for your OWN collection rather than always needing the club. Why? Because if you're offline, you can still use it, you can take paint them whatever colour you like and see them in your own garage. The problem is, you would need to, overall, pay double for the car in a sense. Unless your club is at maximun capacity, but I still think this would be cool. That way new people that come could play with the club cars till they can by their own. THUS, rather than having everyone be able to use it, only have 3 - 5 cars out on loan for the club at a time...or am I the only one who thinks this could work? If someone leaves the club, they can keep the cars they purchased for themselves, but if they didn't buy any cars in the time that they were in that club, they cannot buy the cars at all. So they have to be in a club currently that has access to be able to buy the cars.
  7. Despite, X6M fits really well into this game.
  8. Yeah it's not the G, I see it now. Thanks. Never realized how close the cars actually are though, hah. Also the McLaren Configuator just offers black, colour coded or carbon fiber front lip...I wonder if we'll get those same options in the game.
  9. Er... Gallardo? The car in that small photo is accelerating so the front end is higher, thus the angle may be weird on the lights, but either model could work. I'm more inclined to say LP due to the white and black wheels as the old Gallardo didn't come with all black wheels like that.
  10. Sounds like the only reason people don't want BMW anymore is either because they don't like them or because they're tired of everyone complaining about it. Regardless, if it's not in, so be it. There's many other cars to drive. But the argument that it doesn't fit is completely nonsensical. BMW doesn't fit but the Dodge Charger does? Nissan is in and Infiniti isn't announced yet, if it's in, considering Infiniti is a direct competitor to BMW.... Seriously guys? The arguments are completely bogus.
  11. Aren't we at a point where they could release a car every day (one a day) and it would last until release date? Right?
  12. Ruf's are considered a manufacturer, for some reason, unlike Techart, Gemballa and 9ff, which are just tuners. Although they make their own special models, registration still says Porsche on it. Ruf cars actually say Ruf on the ownership and that's because they just buy frames from Porsche and rebuild it with their own mechanics and whatnot (for the actual Ruf badged vehicles). The other three just modified the existing vehicle as opposed to being torn apart and rebuilt. I would prefer Porsche over Ruf given the Cayenne is better than the Dakara, the Panamera doesn't have a Ruff counterpart, and I think it'd just look better next to Lamborghini and Ferrari in general since those were the "big three" fighters back in the day.
  13. I'm betting BMW, Honda, Subaru, Porsche (confirmed), and Mitsubishi won't be coming along this time around...again. That also knocks out, indirectly, Mini, Rolls Royce and Acura. But to be honest, as much fun as those cars are (Acura NSX, Porsche's lineup and BMW's M lineup), I'm wanting Bentley the most for this game and not just the Continental GT, but the Flying Spur and Brooklands as well.
  14. I hate the SLS, but I think if they're putting the SLR in, it should be the 722's and not just the normal coupe/roadster... That said, SLR over SLS any day. I agree with you on the 63's over the 55's though.
  15. Good trailer...but I don't think it's anywhere near as great as some of you guys are saying. Like it was nice to see some more driving and whatnot, but...I don't know, just didnt' work with me. It just didnt' blow me away, but probably because I'm already overly excited for this game.
  16. :( You're just being a do-do head now. :cheeky: HGenXE: Yeah, I know, but my confusion wasn't about them being in the game but wondering about Infiniti itself. We'll see this time around, Nissan was there before (without Infiniti).
  17. Yes, I know that. However, Licensing works differently for every company. Just because one is a luxury division of another does not mean that they are to be in the same licensing agreement. For instance, Lexus was in Test Drive Unlimited, Toyota was not.
  18. Err...Essence was an Infiniti right? Yet Infiniti isn't listed...I'm surprised the G37/FX aren't mentioned... Anyone know if Infiniti is a separate license or if it's joint with Nissan?
  19. Lol, I was wondering something like that too when I read that post. Glad to see Lamborghini.
  20. To begin, I usually classify this stuff into four segments, with the notion that cars may drop down with age. For instance, I would have considered the NSX a supercar or perhaps exotic when it was FIRST released...now it's just a sports car... The hierarchy I use is: Sports Coupes (3-series, Supra,RSX, NSX, Skyline, Mustang, Camaro, Evora, Corvette etc) - These cars are usually mass produced, with some exceptions, and appeal to the younger crowd most of the time. Pricing can vary with the top of the line version being expensive and the lower end being more affordable. They can usually also be modified due to the amount of aftermarket parts. 2-door coupes or convertibles with any potential drivetrains. Potentially the largest segment around. They can be both luxury (CLK, M3) or standard (Camaro, Supra). Sports Sedans (M3, C63, E63, M5, RS6, ISF, Charger SRT-8 etc). These vehicles are similar to the above but are in 4 door form. I separated them on purpose as the notion of a sports car is usually associated with 2 doors, but now a days this is not the case. Supercars (Viper, Corvette Z06/ZR1, LF-A, GT-R, Gallardo, F430, SLR, 599GTB, Bullit/Rocket, Flying Spur, Continental GT, Phantom etc) - This is where things get confusing. Personally a supercar, to me, needs to be able to perform decently on the road and on the track. They bring in a level of status that usually is not seen, and although they may not be rare, they do not need to be. Simply put: They are built for the purpose to be fast and in some cases comfortable. They may be mid-engined or GT cruisers, and in some cases, extreme sedans, but they all have the same thing in common; They're built to outperform the rest. They're built to represent excess. Top speeds usually reside around 190mph (300kph). Price does not matter, but usually are pricey. This is probably where the most purchases happen in terms of buying cars from those that are wealthy. Cars that have fallen from Super to Sports: NSX, 348, 360 etc Exotic Cars (Murcielago, Enzo, Carrera GT, Ford GT, EB110, Diablo, S7, F40, F50, XJ220, Miura SV etc). This list is a little more exclusive to get into. These cars represent the prime of example of the engineering and development during their respective times of their production run. Although they may have been produced for years, there are not that many running around. These vehicles differ from their mass sales counterparts as the brands trademarks and newest technology are showcased in these vehicles. These vehicles, despite their age, can usually compete with the Supercar class, despite their inferior technology and many are considered to be legends of their respective times. Most of these cars today are still demanding premiums higher than the most expensive Supercar. Although some depreciate, others appreciate over time. This class is also the only one where looking at it is important. These cars, like many in the Supercar class, are low slung, mid-engined and rear-wheel drive. You may not recognize the vehicle itself, but when one of these come beside you, you know it is something special. It does not blend in anywhere, even when grouped with their equivalents, they each command the spot light. Road poise? Check. Menacing stance? Check. Powerful and agile? Check. Expensive? Usually. Heritage? Check. Many of these cars have brought a new level of refinement and history to the company that they were brought in on, whether a new company or an existing one, when you talk about the company, you talk about these cars. These cars will never fall into being just supercars, as being in this category engraves you into the history books. (Whether you want to believe it or not, the Murcielago and S7 will certainly not be forgotten). They are usually fitted with V10's and V12's. Currently there is no Japanese vehicle in this segment, with only one or two coming close. Many of these cars have, however, fallen from Hypercar status to this one due to age (F40, XJ220, Miura SV etc). Hypercars (Veyron 16/4. Zonda, F1, CCX, Agera, SSC Aero, Apollo, MT9000s etc). These vehicles represent the cream of the crop. If you thought your exotic or supercar was fast, you were wrong. These vehicles represent one thing and one thing alone: Passion. You don't control this car, it controls you. These vehicles were made to make Newton's head spin and to be the king of the hill. Many of these cars command prices well above the half a million mark, with a few going over the one million dollar mark. Heritage? It starts here. These vehicles also boast power and torque that was considered to be beyond measure only a little while ago. This class is also specialized, although trying to combine handling and speed, many of these cars may be geared for pure speed where as others try to be pure track experts and the rest try to make the best of both worlds. Legends in their own respective way and currently are living in the limelight of being some of the worlds most notorious and dangerous vehicles. What's under the hood? The biggest thing that can fit. Eventually all of these cars will fall into the exotic car class where their names will be remembered throughout history, despite how they look. They're just that good. Collector Cars (Reventon, One-77, Reventon Roadster, Veyron Clubsport etc) - These cars are just absurd. They don't really fit anywhere, but the only reason they are here is because they are able to perform decently, are unbelievably expensive and rare. The prime example of status and wallet size. Why are they worth mentioning? Because they are just that absurd. It's rough, but I think that makes sense, it's also pretty long but whatever...either way that's how I see it. There are always exceptions....I know this was for "supercar" but it's hard to describe without explaining the rest.
  21. Whatever helps you sleep at night, sweetie.
  22. To keep track of everything in the movie world, the internet movie database was created with a list of all the movies, actors and anything else that had to do with tv and film, including producers, directors, screenwriters etc. Although there are more, one major one that came was the Internet Movie Car Database, or IMCDB, where you could look for a car and see what movies it came in, or what movie had what cars! We have hit a new level: IGCD, Internet games car database. Of course at the moment, this has nothing new for Test Drive, but seemed useful enough for Blur as I couldn't find a car list: Here's the Test Drive Unlimited 2 page: http://www.igcd.net/movie.php?id=100000091&PHPSESSID=c18ff1&width=1280 Anyone actually surprised that this exists?
  23. This would be cool to see in TDU2 for sure. One in Hawaii and one in Ibiza. Then just put them either in a suburb or near the city core so people can go and walk around the entire thing. It would make things so much easier...and the rest of the island can be set up with a dealerships scattered around.
