Dodge SRT-10 coupe and cabrio, ZO6 (untill I changed the sound, now its horendous... I dont drive it therefore anymore), GR1, Super Bee, weirdly Lexus LS600h L as I swapped it for a E38 750iL on Boyd Slayer rims (SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!) and other muscle cars witha throaty roar.

*BUMP* I am having a hard time getting the sounds right. I cant make my replaced idle work. It just doesnt work..... All I can hear is silence. And so far idle is the only thing I changed. On top of that the Aston sound doesnt work AT ALL..... Anyone with experience willing to undertake this minor mod?

Would you mind if I just changed the idle sound and startup sound to suit a different vehicle? This is purely for myself as I am trying to match a sound mod with a BMW E38 750iL :)

I have looked at this one, and it IS very good. I might swap it for now, currently I got a Q7 V12 sound. The thing is that Aston has got this very 'Astonish' exhaust whine at around 5k-7k RPM. This thing when it sort of transforms from a muscle car to a ferrari sort of sound, you know what I mean?? I want it to be all muscle growling. If you look in the video though, those Beemers do whine at higher revs though. Annoying, when an actual sound of the real car is not what you expect. Ill try the Aston with my own custom Idle. But the search is still on :) EDIT: I found a new source, which combined with the idle from the previous car should give me a good sound. Only thing remaining to do is to amplify the Bass side of things because the bass in this Beemer at high revs goes missing.... Here is the source in question EDIT 2: I cannot open the Aston sound in BNK editor. It doesnt even come up as BNK. It comes named as Aston and its a file. Not a bnk, there is no DB9_CPE_audio.bnk or anything, jsut Aston............ So the search continues .

Right, this is both a shameless *BUMP*and part two of my request. I am trying to make the sound mod myself however the source I chose, although good quality, doesnt give me a particularly long insight into Onlow, onmid and onhigh. Uhmm, I did.... BUT TDU 2 is supposed to have 179 cars. The most I have seen on a signle site is 82 (here) and others are even poorer.... So My guess is that BMWs MIGHT find their way into TDU ;) GR1 I am saaaad about... If its not in this TDU then meh... But never give up hope that atari will (joy oh joy) come up with a Car Mega Pack for TDU2 with some of those cars ;)

Does anyone have a sound that would fit well into a 750iL (12 cylinder engine ;)) replacing a Lexus LS600h L? Current sound that I got is good but I could have a better one ;) This would be much appreciated if anyone could just point me toward the right direction or give me the sound im looking for ;)

I don't know anyone wll or that even cruises. End of. Right, Ill set up a new profile, name it like I want to but further I will need that save. Paint jobs, tune ups and all the other things I will redo but I just CANNOT be bothered to drive ALL of the game all over again. I did it already, now Im in it for cruising, and I will probably stop altogether whne TDU2 comes out. So anyone willing to 'lend' me their file or point me in the right direction?? (towards the file, not the 'right' way of doing this ;))

I think it would be awesoe if anyone could possibly make a mod that woudl allow to set our designated top speed (up to 3 different speeds) in game options and then enable us to choose one of them through the in-drive menu. This, or it could be done just by using piggyback trainers that detect the speed and cap it at our specified speed limit. So, modders. you have been told :) We all lay great faith in you, you CAN do it, and WE know it.

mod edit: Please do not quote images, thanks! I got mine from the same shop mainly because of the Aston :) SWEEEET ride :) I had to create an accoutn on Play JUST to get it. But Im on PC so mine is 25 not 40 GBP :) Substantial saving, PCs :) I might have to cancel though, with money being really tight at the moment and it still hasn't been paid for so I am thinking that it will take money at the worst possible moment. And I will be charged and pennyless leaving me with nothing and no way to get to college. Should I sell my old GPU and PSU?

I have been stuck there for years now. Realising that I will never be able to finish the game and get the satisfaction of 100% completion is at best depressing. I would like to swap the profile with your 100% version. I got Hex and I did open the file. And I DO see your point about it taking a looooooooong time. What is it? a 100.000 or a 1.000.000 odd and unexplained signs??? !!!! Well, getting a profile with JUST those races complete wont do me any good anyway as online part of the game is impossible to complete. I would need a 100% swap. Only reservation is that I have almost all the cars in the game and I have them as I like them and I got around 56 million in cash that I made honestly through retailing of cars (and not by buying 15 crappy volkswagens and selling them to mates for 10 mil each - HONEST trade on classic, tuned AND milage free vehicles WITH a custom paintjob specified by me - every single one!) What would I get in your save? Would it be the same? Would it COMPLETELY wipe everything that I have? Will I end up broke with no cars and no races? Or will it be a quick fix :)? Last thing, what about the save name? I was meaning to change my name online but I couldnt without having to start all over again..... Could I call myself anything this time and swap it for 100% whilst retaining that name?

Oh well.. You basically said back to me what I did with the exception of TDU toolkit..... Damn. Isnt there any other kind of cheat? Sorry for mentioning the frowned upon word but I have been at the same level for what, 3 years?! time when I lost good connection and now I got a better one than I ever had and I cant do anything... However I am sure that there is a way of getting that 5% left in a less laboursome way. Say, If I were to download a savegame with THOSE particular challenges finished (not even a 100% one) I could edit in the bits that are missing in my savegame from the other one. Would that work or is it destined to failure???

So.... I have seen plenty of ACE players and I wonder how can I ever get it. I got 95% done and that means ALL the stuff I couldve done on my own (all the challenges, races in single, car challenges, extras, driving, all the roads, houses......) and now I have around 14 ranked matches left to win, inter club races and win 2 challenges. Point is, I CANNOT win races since NOONE is racing ranked matches anymore. NOONE. I have a hard time finding people on my own.... And again, noone is left to play around with in clubs and I am the only member of my own club (sad...) and club racing apparently seems to be fcuk'ed....(trade mark xD) And last but not least, cheaters and ultra-pros beat me every time. Cheaters post times like 0.012s or others on say 6-8 mile tracks which is annoying because I dont even know where to take cheats from.... And pros are just too good to beat. Im not a bad player, Im willing to learn more but I just dont have the level of skill for THIS game - dissappeared over the time I guess, when I didnt have good connection. Now that I do, things are almost dead. So how do I do it?

That issue could have only come from Italy - land where there is NO Road Laws.... at all. Nevertheless, model looks allright.. at least.

Voted for VENTS for simple reasons. 1. For 'realism' purposes I close windows (if I had them open anyway) at about 100km/h. Reason? Because you wouldn't want to be driving in ANY car with windows down at over 60 miles an hour (100km/h) - too much draught. 2. They SLOW you down and increase fuel consumption - second one does not matter in game but try driving for a month with windows down and see what you will pay for it. And if you drive say Mercedes SL65 AMG and need to get somewhere fast of course you will close the windows as car goes up to 20km/h FASTER with windows UP and accelerates better as well. 3. Ooooh, moving parts, how COOL. That one speaks for itself. 4. Bugatti Veyron's rear wing - if its up it wont do 407 but it will corner better, if its down - break land speed records. But if you think it comes up automatically think again - there is a slot in the door frame (obviously), stick a key in there and turn it - voila. 1 million dollars supercar has its wing locked DOWN. 5. So vents CAN be controlled. Now imagine you actually own a racing car. They have windows made of plastic and for saving weight you cannot open them anyhow. But you can open vents and slots in the car. the way I would propose these mods to be done would be the more realistic way. (sort of) if car has hidden spoilers/closed vents = Windows Closed position (so it will go faster) if car has visible spoilers/open vents = Windows Down position (so that we will imitate spoilers and vents causing drag so cars will go slower - thats what they do in real life). Now Im interested to see new meaty spoiler and vent mods but those things seem like pretty big and advanced changes, not something you can do in 10 minutes. Then again, I know nothing about this stuff so it will be interesting to see.
