1. Had the opportunity to drive a Nascar Sprint Cup car a couple weeks ago. Was very fun and theres a lot more that goes into these cars and how to drive them than the usual left turn stereotype, although we were at an oval. Carrying momentum and using the banking is vital for a good lap or else you scrub all your speed. Not sure how fast I actually went as theres no speedo in the car but I'm guessing in the reigon of 120-150 MPH.
2. Please share this wonder with us! Reminds of an E92 M3 in my area where the guy special ordered it in Signal Green which originally was a color for a 997 GT3 RS. In yours and his case the green was well executed and I quite like the idea of a green Audi. I love it!
3. As long as they don't limit much more than the graphics, I'd get it on X360. But if they start cutting out cars, parts of the map and other features its a no go for me. If whats being said about Sumo is true, that shouldn't be a problem though.
4. Took a drive up to the mountains for the first time on Saturday. The FR-S handled so much better than I ever imagined. I wasn't even going very fast but being so low gives you that sensation of speed. I didn't really get to rev the engine out as much because I'm still stuck in the break in period but even at half revs this car was so good. And some truly epic roads up in that area as well. All in all, a great weekend Temporary registration btw, haven't got the plates for it yet.
5. If I were to ever Rocket Bunny this car, there would have to be some serious upgrades to make it all look good together. So the $5000 for the kit doesn't include the extra $2000-3000 on wheels, tires, suspension and what not. But I doubt I ever will take it to that level lol.
6. Haha don't worry I don't plan on it. I already get enough attention as it is stock. Whether it be sketchy dudes trying to sell me ghetto sound systems or girls who want to ride in it or just people rubbernecking to get a look while they're driving. Just some small things for now. Meanwhile, decided to take a pic with a nice Evo X that I found today. Also close to 300 miles in less than a week. Still 700 miles left on the manufacturer recommended break in period though :sulk:
7. Exactly the reasoning behind the decision. I know I would have more fun on an empty road in a manual but in traffic on my daily drive not so much. Believe me, I prefer manual to auto as well, but I'd rather not drive it daily. As for mods, I have a dream list and a realistic list in my head right now. Dream List: Greddy exhaust UEL headers enkei RPF1 wheels Alpine headunit Realistically probably a new air filter or maybe an intake and thats about it until I find a better job. --- Post Updated --- And thanks :)
8. Thanks! 18 and believe me, Southern California is a nightmare when it comes to traffic. Drove my step brothers 240sx in traffic and while driving a manual in traffic isn't the worst thing in the world, it just didn't seem like the sort of thing I wanted on a daily basis. Plus like I said, the auto in this car is wonderful and manual mode works very well.
9. UEL headers are also supposed to eliminate the torque dip that happens at about 3500 rpm. And the scooby sound is a nice addition as well lol:D As for now, setting up my first road trip in my car. Got a nice route going through some good roads, its just really far to get out there unfortunately. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/32.7965678,-115.5951941/Frosty+Burgers,+28823+Old+Highway+80,+Pine+Valley,+CA+91962/Julian,+CA/El+Centro,+CA/@32.8510144,-116.0957723,97612m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m21!4m20!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x80d97bcc13e143f3:0x1bc00b7cffebd4bd!2m2!1d-116.530745!2d32.822317!1m5!1m1!1s0x80da2cca8a2814c1:0x447cb9659af83140!2m2!1d-116.6019637!2d33.0786552!1m5!1m1!1s0x80d75f9c2642bbbd:0xcb0448b8249ffdaf!2m2!1d-115.5630514!2d32.792!3e0?hl=en
10. Thanks! Haven't really had the chance to drift it but it handles quite well without getting sideways. Hoping to take a trip up to the mountains this weekend for a cruise on some nice roads. Nothing to crazy, as I'm not quite sure where my and the cars limits are lol
11. California traffic made that decision more of a no brainer. With that said, its a very good slushbox indeed. The manual mode is amazing and the shifts are quick no matter what mode your in. --- Post Updated --- Theres a couple of things I have in mind. Nothing major cosmetically, maybe some wheels a few years down the line, but I would like to get a Cusco strut brace and probably a new headunit as well
12. Finally traded in my truck for a 2014 Scion FR-S. Mine has the 6 speed automatic with paddle shifters and bluetooth as well. Haven't really had a chance to go up to the mountains but from what I've noticed so far this car handles so well. Drives a little like my moms old BMW 328i except with less power and weight.
13. Thats a really nice looking car, even though it can probably fit in the bed of my truck. :p In all seriousness, can't wait to see what you do to it
14. This weekend, the Score Off Road race series had its first ever race in my area. For those of you who aren't familiar, Score also sanctions the Baja 1000 race down in Mexico. Many of the big names in American off road racing were here such as BJ Baldwin, Rob MacCachren and the MacMillins all came down for the 250 mile sprint race. The range of vehicles in the races varies greatly. From 850 hp Trophy trucks, down to humble off road Beetles to a wide range of purpose built buggies, just about anything that can off road was there. Here's some pictures I took from this weekend, and I may post more later on. Me and Bj Baldwin taking a selfie:D Then Bj getting up on 2 wheels
15. I like Ken Block. Sure he was never competitive in WRC, but he has been somewhat successful in the Rally America series, plus he still has a pretty amazing level of car control to do all the Gymkhana stuff. Plus that Fiesta looks amazing :clean:

17. Me and my friends riding dirt bikes and other off road vehicles. That's me in the very back btw. And I was not the one who photoshopped this....:hmmm:
18. Looks like it could be a very good game. Sad that they couldn't put it on next gen but still gunna check it out
19. I'd quite like to get the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ. I need something way smaller than my truck and gets better gas mileage if I'm going to live in LA or San Diego in college. And they are just such cool cars and are drive so well. Plus one of the schools I applied to is not even an hour from Willow Springs Raceway so that's a plus.
20. Got some new wheels and tires for the Sliverado. Out with the old and in with the new
21. After my left tire decided to pull a Pirelli and fall apart completely, I decided to get whole new set of rims and tires for the truck. A pretty basic off road set up. I will certainly have pictures when they come in.
22. This happened to my left front tire of my truck today. I should have guessed this would happen. When the truck arrived at the dealer, they had these wheels and tires installed for some reason and sold it at a reasonable price to my family. The one thing they didn't account for unfortunately is the fact that the wheel is 3 inches bigger than stock and much wider as well, without doing any mods to the wheel well so that the wheels would clear. You can hear the tire grind against the wheel well when you turn hard left and I should have done something about it sooner. Oh well, could have been much worse for me than what it was.
23. Your making me want to go out and work on a car of some sort. Great looking Supra, I love it!
