Funny, everyone says it sounds like car X but no consensus has been reached which one it is. I was a bit disgusted with this, but I figure it's a clever marketing strategy. It made me want the new ZR1... and it made me regret that I can't redo the challenge just to give it another spin.

Apart from the apparent bugs with the wrecks I have one big gripe with this patch. Why was this even considered a bug? In fact, the first time I skimmed through the patch notes I thought it was listed under 'improvements', how big was my disappointment after seeing that it's the opposite. Anyway, I never knew this was a bug because I thought you do get paid for redoing the whole tournament and I found out the hard way that you don't (even before this patch). It seems that the bug didn't work for me. My point is there should be a way to earn money fair and redoing cups is far better than redoing one race (remember 70K speed challenges in TDU1?). Who is going to drive around Oahu for measly 20k? Eden, did you work so hard to make those races just to be there and so that no one would race them? As we all know, apart from the Casino (if you can play poker) the best way to earn is playing multiplayer races but it gets as repetitive as the mentioned above 70k speed challenge. Most people play the Oahu Airport sprint because it pays well, leaving out pretty much any other race turning the game into an absolute rinse and repeat fest. Wouldn't it be a good idea to introduce something like multiplayer Cups/Tournaments. Not only would it mix things up a bit, but there could be a prize at the end for the highest winning players. It shouldn't be as high as the Hawaii cup's but it should be significant and it would make ranked races much more interesting than they are now. If cups are not a good idea then at least let ranked race hosts change tracks just to make grinding a bit more bearable and varied. Repetition kills pleasure.

Wut? GRID (without assists) has brilliant physics. Arcadey, yes, but one of the better physics models I've seen in a recent racing game.

It's kind of strange they charge more for giving players the option to paint those cars in factory colors... the same ones they provide IRL (another advertising opportunity for the producers!) but hey, no one said licensing needs to make sense...

I don't really understand why would anyone want to have the option to move cars from garage to garage... apart from wanting to look cool. However, bear in mind that it was made like this so that you don't have to shuffle around cars like in the first TDU (which became REALLY tedious after owning pretty much all cars in the game). Every garage has a 'list' option where you can pick any car from your roster which is much more efficient and convenient than it was in TDU1. Plius you can finally sort the list unlike in TDU1. As for paying for DLC cars - I think it the way it should be. It's only fair like that, otherwise it would give players buying DLC an unfair advantage like some F2P games do.

Unfortunately this doesn't concern Aston Martin DB9. Argh... I was so mad at that little rascal (wanted to say you know, :bunny:) that I sold it and bought a Camaro. It was virtually UNDRIVABLE. It would spin out regardless whether I was accelerating or not, whether it was a straight, or a corner... Just. Every. Single. Time.

An easy way to avoid this would be exporting the photos in 2 formats. One readable by your OS but not accessible via the game and one encrypted.

Well, this just got real. I hate the fact that such a good game will be held back by suits at ATARI/Namco Bandai who said they'll have to release DLC. This sucks. Please do not swear.

That would be a BIG move from EA.
