  1. Firstly it's nice you find it good. Urm, i thought about it, because i have no flanging here at all.

    I think it has something to do with that you use another, selfmade general turbosound, maybe ?

    As you can hear in the video i used the normal turbosound that is coming with TDU.

    If it's not that, i can tell you, these samples are taken straight out of the test rig video with no editing done to them at all yet.

    I just found it allready good, and released it.

    When i did some finetuning on it, sure you'll hear the engine then :-) .

    although i didn't finetune even bass or volume yet.

    Invented a new trick, which I can use to produce samples.

    Gone are the days where I needed videos in which the gas must be held stable.

    These are middays, allready inside. Picture 1 and 6 have closely the blue like in yours.

    Yes i put one in with this skycolour, only a bit lighter blue, close to white, and only few clouds, and with the lanscape and buildings reflecting less yellowish in relation because of that. Barely clouds means full white light comes through, right.

  4. will you put a midday weather condition? kind of like early morning but without the yellow-ish tone, just a nice blue sky with a few clouds, like in the island paradise mod.

     

    I was just wakening up, read this, thought ok, you mean an early

    morning , looking like midday without the yellow orange sky but with a blue sky and few clouds.

    Then, "OOOO, he means a midday, looking like an early morning only without the yellow orange sky but a blue sky with a few clouds, my fault. " hehe

     

    Pow, now i make a guess, you mean a midday with just a nice blue sky and a few clouds. Like the blue sky that is allready in the midday but with only a few clouds. Can you roger that ? Or wich yellowish tone you mean ?

     

    wow nice mod!:thumbsup: even at night you can see everything. in TDU2 you can see almost nothing .. You can also make for the TDU2?:confused:

    Nope, i am not modding TDU2.

    And, i think the headlights in TDU2 would not look so good, if the rest would be not as dark as it is.

    But sure there is a weathermod for tdu2 out there,

    or secondly, you can type your issue into google, and find out what single number has to be changed for brightening up your nights a bit.

    I now cook myself something.

  5. Yeah right. Who cares about what's on TV with an island in sight. Anyways, the way the tv stands is the only way to avoid too many reflections on the screen at daytime, hehe. The only ones who play havoc, are we. Because Havok is the game's graphic engine's name. What a case.

  6. Update 13.04.2013 released. Reduced the fog maximum in one afternoon and in two evenings to the same level as the other daytimes. ( For both graphic modes ). Put closer fog into the rainy daytime in both modes. Put pictures into the thread again. Normalmode pictures in first post. Hd normal glow pictures in post nr.: 4 . Wrote this sentence :-) .

    Yesterday i updated this mod again.

     

    For the hdr likers out there. Sorry that i've let this mode so undone related to the evenings. The clouds are now not too bright anymore. I suggest to use the normal glow mode, because the star mode is too sparkly i find. Like you have been in a swimming pool and looking into streetlights after it in the evening, but ingame it is this way at day too. Thats why i never liked the hdr mode. But now it's just great with the modifications. Its now more like aniosotrophic filtering looking.

     

    In both modes i added a bit more reflection to the car at evenings, nights, and rainy days. And the skycolours look more natural than in previous versions.

     

    I plan to do another hdr mode version with this aniasothropic effect to be even a bit more present, because i used it very slightly in this update. For this i have to adjust some things, because it would be all too bright if not.

     

    The other thing i planned is a projector version. The night is too dark for projectors. Soon to come.

     

    Critics, and comments about things you like about this mod are welcome. Best is allways with pictures, so i can see what you are talking about. Regards Tinnio

  8. On sounds are good. Offhigh needs to be way louder. Sounds like engine disappeares suddendly or like hitting the clutch. Backfire great, but the according tune of the engine could be louder in relation too. Tire brake sound is like in formula world grand prix for sega master system from the 90's :-) . But, good work. At least no big faults.

  9. Sounds ok. ''only'' ok compared with doc g's SLR sound he released a few days ago, wich is more precise i find.

    Little tip, your bass in onhigh is pounding in too much. 2 solutions : more bass into offhigh, or reduce bass in onhigh.

    I have a little confusion here.

    Are you questlpark helper123 or ferraridriver12 ?

    As helper123 you did all those tdu2 soundmods yet and said it's much harder than doing it for tdu1 so, why are you acting like a novice ?

    And, do you still get your soundfiles from your friend viper ?

  10. No problem. Yes, i find the ferrari v8 sounds like something inbetween a v8 and a v10 . Sure a special v8. Maybe thats why people say it would be the best v8 sound in the carworld. In my mod here the downtouring is quite similar to the ontouring in mid and hight. I didn't try to do the downtouring like in the sourcevideo yet. This should give it more spectacular sound then.

     

    Not sure wich previous version you meen, i guess the gt2 and gt3 ones. Because the update here from 6.12.2012 revs much more higher than the first novitec rosso version but still lower than the gt versions thats right.

     

    Logicaly somehow, gt cars are highly tuned so they have much more power, meens higher rev range.

    To be honest, the complete mid and high part is still original sound from my previous gt2 mod only a bit tweaked and reving at stock f430 novitec rosso tuned ranges. I left out the turbo sound, so it should sound even more aggressive than the turbo gt3 version meening the middle part . I put the grumbling you can hear at the beginning of the sourcevideo, into the lower revs and actualized the idle that is now sounding more like v8. The idle before was an f430 f1. Now its a stock f430 idle mixed together with a novitec rosso f430 idle.

     

    In my opinion the f430 doesn't sound like a typical ferrari. It has a special sound hard co catch.

    Anyways, the new video will show how the update sounds like, and thanks for your constructive critic. Greets, Tinnio.

  11. Thanks DJey, glad it worked for you. But for those who got irritated, the numbers you have to copy and paste are the ones BELOW the first 50, not above them. Sure nobody was able to do a fault here because above the first 50 there is nothing to be chosen due to they are the FIRST :-) . Only wanted to end the confusion someone maybe could have gotten.

     

    Dani, i can only speak for myself when i say, no, i won't make a video for this. Make a backup of what you want to keep. This way you have as many tries as you need to do it. Tinnio

  12. Heya all. Yesterday i've noticed that i had the clouds file from another mod installed in wich you could choose between no clouds few clouds and all clouds. I chose few clouds these days because i thought it would be better for my system to handle it and gain more fps. Now i have the original file with all clouds in my game again, and i know now why some guys even had no clouds at all or too much of them. Sorry for this. You will soon have your clear blue sky sometimes. Edit : As i said, i've done a bit work with the clouds in both grafic modes. The normal mode is nearly ready. The other one is 90% ready. Didn't check 2 or 3 daytimes yet. The day is not so fully clouded anymore but i kept the big white cloudmountains in the distance. I could not decide in wich daytime i want to have completely no clouds yet. Many many clouds should now only be in the rainylike day and in the afternoon. Tinnio

  13. I've done this with the ingame brightness set to less than the half. If you turn your brightness a bit higher should improve it more for your taste. In your day picture the saturation is very low. Little colors. I could make the island look like this, but then when driving inbetween wooden areas the green of the grass and the trees would be the same like the green in distance. Not only the green. The brown of the trees would turn grey again, the earth too, houses would be grey wich makes the texture details look not so good. I am 32 years old, and when i was a young kid, i clearly remember that the sun was not that too strong like it is today. The white of things at daytime was an a bit more creamy one. And the sun was supporting the color of things not overbrightening it like today. There was a golden sunlight like it today only is in the morning or afternoon. I could use a light white fog and put it over the island to get this hot day look you are missing, but i don't want that. Would ruin the far distance view when driving and increase the overall performance of the game. I reduced the saturation only in the morning, when it is lightly rainy, at evening and of course at night. I won't touch the day as i find its colors stunning when driving through wooden curvy mountain roads with some buildings sometimes wich are delighted by the sun in golden light. Next thing is, if there are clouds, it is not so bright at all. And when looking over the island i want to see a healthy green island. No desert there. Don't get me wrong, I've seen you liked the thread. So i am not defending myself here. The stones for example are lightly brown in my edit. If i change the colors to be more bright white at day in general, their color would be grey. That's the same with all other things on the island. I had to decide for a color concept and keep it. A green roof of a building doesn't change from normal green to blueish green when only the sun is more shining for example. The only thing that changes is its brightness. So try my suggestion and change your brightness settings. This way i have no additional work and others who like the edit at day can enjoy it on like it is. Tinnio

     

    Edit : I touched the day :-) , because i had to do a compromisation. I am working on taking out some yellow of the sunambientcolor due to the cars to be white when they are supposed to be. Wich corrects all other carcolors too. Lightblue was a problem too. Sideeffect is that the look of the day is getting brighter. Same thing with the roadmapcolor wich was a bit too yellowish. I am nearly ready with that. Only mornings raincloudyday and evenings left to do. I added some fog the early day after rainyday. The idea was to create the feeling that the sun gets the water out of the ground from the rain of the day before. Then midday fog away again hole day long. Thought about very smoothly moonlit dark grey blueish clouds at night as a night version or half of the night.

    I update when its all done. Orientational update date, maybe final version coming 12.12.2012.

    Last time for 98 years that we have the number of the year 3 times in the date. Yep, very sad that is, hehe. Good marriage date to remember allways and forever and never ever forget it. Bye for now.
