  1. Sounds good, but it's like the one I'm using right now: they don't extend all the way up to 10 000 rpm. Is there a italian sounding mod that fits this? Or do I have to change gears sooner/lower the rev limit?
  2. For sure you have been asked this before, but why don't you try Mediafire?
  3. Me like this a lot. But is there a reasonable sound to match the car? Any ideas?
  4. I searched the thread for 'gps' and it retrieved 0 results, so I suppose nobody had this problem yet. I don't have the original game yet, my previous copy got... misplaced, so to speak. I'm trying the PP just now because I haven't had the need before. It works ok, fuel mode doesn't work, but it doesn't crash the game either. The stuff I wanted (no gps, no gauges, no avatar, etc) works beautifully. The problem is that my GPS bnk installed over the default one stops working (this is, I see the default TDU gps again) when I drive a car that uses the bigbnks feature. Is this a problem due to not having the oficial version of the game, or is it something else?
  5. Also by the headlights, they look more slippery, like in the new C8 Aileron
  6. That is one of the worst, ugliest, most useless, miserable and avoidable cars ever. And I love Spyker
  7. So all dealers can have at most 5 "boughtable" cars? Despite all the free spots in TDUMT? Does a "classic vehicle" only include stock classics? I installed Saab 99 Turbo over Chrysler SRT6 Coupe, changed its performance settings and class to G, and swaped it to the Spyker dealership as well as the Koenigsegg cars (kinda like a danish/scandinavian dealer), adding up to a total of 6 cars. The Saab was on spot nr 6 and it wasn't available to buy, but the other cars could be bought and edited before bought. So perhaps only G class cars from the regular TDU affect this. The DB9 is not modded yet, and its Rarity is 1. Yet it can't be given any other colours or rims before being bought --- Post Updated --- I've been testing the dealerships a bit and found that TDU gives preference to the native dealer cars. I've inserted the 3 Spykers plus the Saab in the Koenigesegg dealership, and it showed the two Koens + 3 Spykers. Saab was nr 6. So I swaped it to nr 1, both Koens to nr 5 and 6, and now the car missing was the last Spyker . Given that the original dealer cars are there, TDU will show those regardless their position, and then the 3 first cars of the dealer list (in this case). Also, it seems like every dealership can show a maximum of 5 cars, perhaps apart the British Independents with the Nobel, TVR, etc, and the Ferrari/Maserati dealers. Is it possible to know this for sure? Any files with this kind of information? --- Post Updated --- I'm using TDUMT to increase the number of cars in each dealer and see their max. I'll then post a Oahu map with my findings. It will not be complete, but it will be something. Meanwhile, I can tell you there are dealers with capacity for at least 8 cars, and at least 3 dealers that can have more than 5 cars.
  8. Hi there fellas. I'm using your TDUMT 1.16 and it is one of the most useful tools available to mod TDU. I'm changing almost every car in the game, even made an excel book to keep track of everything, and it was my idea to rearrange the cars and dealers where they are sold. I linked the 7 Aston Martin I have installed so far to the free spots in the Aston Martin dealer, but only the default 5 appear. DB4 Zagato and another one don't seem to be available to buy. Also, I can't edit the cars before buying anymore, like changing the rims or colour, in that dealer. What can I do?
  9. Won't hurt, but what I really want is these two miracles: decent braking or at least a correlation/formula between the Braking/Weight/Grip/something-else-relevant and the ingame Braking distance, and a way to adjust acceleration dinamically, this is, setting Acc as 100 for the early gears/revs and 90 for the upper gears/revs, for example. EDIT: Now that I've read what you wrote correctly, it might perform my 2nd miracle. Looking forward for it :nods:
  10. Alright, I've read that post and re-started messing around with the AM One-77. - Increased Downforce to 0.625, in Hardcore Mode the car doesn't fly anymore, it jumps and wobbles but that's normal when above 200 kmh - I've been playing with Gear Inertia, Drag, Acceleration and Grip to try and achieve a reasonable setup for a 0-100 in 3.6~3.8 seconds, and top speed around 360 kmh if pushed to the absolute limit (this is, almost impossible in TDU). The thing is: it's incredibly hard to get 3.6 s in 0-100 lauching in 1st gear. I've been trying in Hardcore mode, Driving Assist maxed (I suppose they did it too in AM, kinda like a launch control) and the gears take way too much time to be switched. Engine inertia should improve this, but not enough. The 300 milisecond shifts of so many supercars are much longer here, at least 1 full second. Regardless using manual or auto shifting this always happens. If I launch in 2nd gear (the gear in which One-77 achieves 100 kmh) I get a much better time (3.75 seconds versus the 4.68 seconds of 1st gear). If I use automatic gear changing the time goes down around 0.1 seconds (for the 1st gear launch of course). What am I missing? Can someone with a wheel and pedals test this? --- Post Updated --- So... I've been playing with Gearbox Inertia values in AM DB5, while keeping everything else the same. Higher GI = less wheel spin on launch. It's like the car has an intelligent torque distributor. Lower GI = the cars revs up to the redline almost immediately, and spins all over the place. So for this car I'll keep the GI high and counter balance it by reducing grip. Note how it is the opposite of what that thread says. The Engine Inertia seems to be as that thread explains. Regarding the DB5 once more: I got it to behave as I would say it should, using a keyboard it's difficult to achieve good 0-100 times due to the lack of progression but I think it can be done properly with a set of pedals. But it accelerates too fast, it reaches 200 kmh after 24 seconds and should be more around 33~34 seconds. I can lower the Acceleration value to compensate, but then I would have to either increase power and/or grip or mess with the gear ratios to have a nice 0-100 time again. I won't be touching the other two Inertias any more as they are fine, so the DB5 will end up getting to Top Speed faster thean it should.
  11. That makes too much sense, why didn't I think of that? Thanks for your help ;)
  12. Aston Martin DB5 by Miha2795 Sorry for the low quality, but the anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work when taking screenshots. Also, while testing the XK-RS physics, I got inspired and took these (not photoshoped):
  13. I'm having some issues... I set the Top Speed for Jag XK-RS as 300 km/h but it still goes well beyond it... Any ideas? EDIT: 1st post updated, Aston Martin DB5 is now released
  14. Almost got it right, I think I used 3.5. This is the most helpful, I'll update it tonight
  15. I've used that one too, but forgot to mention it in the read me. Regarding the One-77 its gear ratios simply don't exist, which is the most important part missing of the pack You're welcome, I'll try to post one or two more today
  16. Hi there racers! I've never managed to get TDUPE to work until a few months ago. Due to university I had to leave TDU for a while, but now that I'm on holidays I have some free time. When installing car mods I always wanted to match their performance as well as looks, but it was quite hard to find Performance packs for many of them. So, now that I can do those packs, I thought of sharing them with you. They are not perfect, a lot of specs simply don't exist on the internet, but I think they are quite good. Have fun! :duck: INDEX Alfa Romeo Montreal Aston Martin DB5 Aston Martin One-77 Updated 04/02/2015 Audi RS5 Audi R8 GT Spyder Ferrari LaFerrari Hennessey Venom GT Spyder McLaren P1 Porsche 918 Tesla Roadster Sport
  17. Alright, thanks for the prompt reply
  18. I don't know if this is the right place for this matter, but when I try to sign in using Tapatalk in my table this happens: http://i.imgur.com/Ay2ZedO.jpg What should I do?
  19. Indeed, that's too bad. I might as well put Mercedes in there :D Please remind me, can we make a car have more than a possible set of wheels?
  20. Hi there lads, I'll be taking screens from cars to help @Tob-Racer in his TDUpédia of car mods, and decided to share them with you. They are not supposed to be works of art, they are only intended as previews for the good work of modders. So don't expect anything fancy. You can see all of them by following this link: Photo Album And here a few attempts at taking more attractive photos: Fancy Photo Album --- Post Updated --- Spyker C8 Aileron by Miha2795 Ferrari 288 GTO Interior Retextured by Shurik722 Alfa Romeo 8C Spyder by Miha2795 Aston Martin Vanquish by Miha2795 Eagle Speedster by Miha2795 Hope you like them ;)
  21. I have a few mods installed in my game, if you want I can take pics for you to add Also, there's a mistake on the Chevrolet part, the C2 427 Stingray has misplaced brackets
  22. As you may have seen in the other thread I created I want to install mods over the Saleen tuned Mustangs. I managed to find info on the web and there are 6 of them: Upgrading Mustang Coupe you get: - Saleen S281 3 Valve Coupe (S281_Cpe.bnk) - Saleen S281 Supercharged Coupe (S281SC_Cpe.bnk)- Saleen S281 Extreme Coupe (S281E_Cpe.bnk) Upgrading the Mustang Convertible you get: - Saleen S281 3 Valve Convertible (S281_Conv.bnk) - Saleen S281 Supercharged Convertible (S281SC_Conv.bnk) - Saleen S281 Supercharged Speedster (S281E_Conv.bnk) All of these can be edited individually both on TDUPE and TDUMT, and as you can see can be replaced individually too. My question is: to get them I'll have to upgrade the Mustang, that can have been replaced by any other car. When I go upgrade it, will TDU change the car and/or the stats without any problems? Do I have to be careful about anything in particular? And I suppose that to get all of those 6 cars I'll have to buy 6 different "Mustangs", right? And a final question: what other cars have different files for their tuned versions? I'm aware of the Alfa Romeo GT, are there any others?
  23. Hi there racers, I'm using an Excel file with almost all cars to keep track of which mods I have/will install in the future. But I noticed it is missing a few cars, like the Salleen's Ford Mustang. Does anyone have a full car list, with every single one available in the game?
