  1. Nobody is talking about a McLaren F1 with a VTEC. Just read again. ;)
  2. My like is more for the funny simile. Emir is right. Everyone has it's own taste. Although i admit a Honda Civic is not my dreamcar, i would instantly trade my VW Polo for a Civic Type R (no matter which model). ;) btw: Baghdad might be a trip worth if it wasn't for the political conditions there (if i can say so.) The city itself is or was a beautyful one.
  3. look here: How to install mods
  4. Very nice work again. *boththumbsup* and the vinyls made for the original one still work (little non noticable corrections are needed, but 99,9% it works) Thank you, Great job!
  5. Very nice job! And even the vinyls from the stockversion still work. But can you do a version with this bodykit but the spoiler of the stock-skyline?
  6. Sometimes reading saves some time. ;) That doesn't mean he has time to reupload all mods, but he is awared of that this link is down and he will fix it soon.
  7. What has the sound of the 599XX to do with this mod? There is a soundmod in the pack and if you don't like that one too you can choose whatever sound you like.
  8. ...but tuned as an A1-counterpart to the Bugattis. :cheeese: ...no just kidding. In this case the car had to look like crap but go like from hell. (wolve in sheep's clothing)
  9. I tested that too yesterday, cause i also prefer the RTurbo, and it fits about 99% but not 100%. When you mod the RTurbo the rims are too deep in the wheelhouses, and that doesn't look real good for my taste. If you can live with that little obstacle you can replace the RTurbo. ;) ( Best is, test it yourself by parking the RGT and the RTurbo side by side, replace both cars and then decide.)
  10. I think if you would get banned by using this patch someone had already mentioned it. We all are playing patched for a couple of months with the patch and nothing bad happened to anyone. And like Robik said, Atari doesn't care about cheaters and hackers in the past, so why should they care about cheaters, hackers and players who are using this patch here now. I don't even think that they still have keep an eye on the game. They let it run in some kind of anarchy.
  11. I think it was mentioned a couple of times in the "how to unpack..."-thread. You can't unpack a steamversion or run an unpacked version via steam. You can only find someone who has a retailversion, install with this source and use your legit gamekey from steam. Then unpack this one.
  12. The Ducati Superbike 848 Evo wasn't released yet. As far as i know it should be part of TDU2UP some day. The link you see at the page is only a placeholder for an upcoming download-link.
  13. I wouldn't buy that Ferrari: :cheeese: Novitec Rosso version to replace the original F12 would be interesting to see, although i honestly have to admit that i'm 100% satisfied with the original one. This car is absolutely perfect, no doubt. btw: very nice job here again on the F12.
  14. And i thought it's a special honour for you to create a Reventon-mod. :D ...no, just kidding. If you are not satisfied with the project, than reconsider finishing it. I'm speaking out of my own experience. When i start (e. g.) a vinyl for a car and in the middle of the project i see or think "this doesn't look like the vinyl i had in mind when i started..." i stop working on it and maybe rethink how i can enhance it. But sometimes i quit working on it, because i don't see myself finishing it in the qualitystandard i set myself. I would love to see a Reventon Spyder (i think Horizon has a model, but i'm not quite sure), but i also would like to see it in perfect shape. So better no carmod than a lowerquality carmod only to have one. ;) Keep on working buddy, you're doing great.
  15. My tests are finished. I switched the traffic on again for driving with other players. Turning off traffic and driving in a group in online-mode doesn't work. It only disturbs the other players, cause it works like a tank- or ghostmod.
  16. Sorry but i have to ask: What do your carexperience-reports got to do with the TDU2UP? Maybe you can explain it a little bit? At the moment it looks only "off topic" to me.
  17. *lol* Can you please change the colors in the first post? When you look longer than a second at it, you probably get eyecancer. :D
  18. It doesn't work to swap the rims only, because not rims are so big. It's part of that that charger-model that they are so big. Tototo made it that way.
  19. I think he doesn't mean the spoiler on the car. He means the post-function. :D Go to advanced post-editor and click on the last icon in the last row. That is the spoiler-function. Edit: btw: I'm not JonnieBrasco :coool:
  20. look here (special tutorial for tdu2) ;) Forums / Tutorials. / How to create Custom Licenceplates (Tutorial by Ravemartin) - TDU2 Car Mods and Texmod Tutorial - Test Drive Unlimited 2 Forum
  21. There is an easier way to get the clubcars into a dealershop than using hexeditors and stuff. The tool is called "TDU2 more cars". With this tool you can modify the "World Class"-dealer so that you can buy either the clubcar, the racingschool-cars, police-cars, "prize-winning"-cars or bonuscars (e. g. SLK "Tess") there. On one hand you are right, it might be a little bit of cheating. But (in this case) on the other hand you have to consider the TDU2UP also as cheating, cause the patch also contains cars which are not available for players who are using the original version only. I would have no problem with clubcars at the dealers. Only DLC-cars should not be available for free at the dealers. (But in this case Xarlith already clearly said, that this would never be part of the patch.)
  22. Simple answer, no. ;) The Miami-Mustang is a normal Mustang only with a pink vinyl. Both cars use the same files.
  23. Depends on how you see it. :D You can see it the way that i turned on the "traffic-off"-modification. Then you're right. I would turn that "modification" (...which is a weird word in this case btw) off. But you can see it the other way: I simply turned traffic off and would turn it on again, in races where you have to race with traffic. So far for our "on"-"off"-relationship. :cheeese: and everybody is more confused now. :D
  24. In racingchallenges with traffic it is definitely unfair and in this case i would turn it on again. But i very seldem race challenges with traffic.
  25. I wouldn't even mind if it would be the FXX, but Enzo would be also a perfect choice. :) This is a question i'm asking myself for quite some time. The promo-pictures of Reventon for his mods always look so damn good, that i really like to know what graphicsettings are behind this. I'm playing in FullHD now for 2 months but my pictures don't even look close that good. Either you (or the one who made the pictures) does have a highend-GPU or you have somebody who is a crack at photoshopping. :D
