I like to annoy you a bit :) But don't worry, I will post the first import pictures of it in TDU! :D

And from a given occasion - the visible exterior of the LaFerrari is almost DONE ! :) After 3 1/2 months (started 5. November 2013) which of 1 1/2 were actually used consistently working on it ( :D ), I made it!
 
Wiper, side indicators and Ferrari badges on the doors are left to model, before I FINALLY can start making textures and mapping everything. It means - after that the whole thing will find it's way into Test Drive! :) Engine bay and interior will be imported afterwards, when they will be modeled.
 
Yeah what is left to say... I don't think the rest will take longer than the exterior. The engine bay will take.. A week maybe, the interior about 3 weeks, maybe a month - mayve even less. The interior will be a big project for me. I am a perfectionist, of course I can make the rest in 2 weeks, but then it will look as bad as my first mods on turboduck :D
 


 
If you will find any mistakes in the model on the pics, feel free to post them! I am doing my best to make the model as good as possible :) And if anyone have good quality reference pictures of the interior, engine bay, or any kind of details of the car - I would appreciate it really much!
 
I get a G27 tomorrow, so I will wait even more to drive the LF on the island! :)

Nobody is forcing you to follow what I do :) Ofc its gonna take some weeks untill the release, because the model is not even done. And of course I show what I can do, that's what this thread is for. Look, I want to actually convert this model, too. And I wanna see it ingame - thats actually the only reason I play TDU again. I can't promise WHEN I will release it, but I can promise I WILL release it.

btw, I am ill as crap, I got the flu or something, so it was a real challenge not to sleep the whole day today. Nevertheless, I took 2 hours and made the headlights of my LF. They are not done yet, it is just the base, to "gap" the hole at the front.

Nevertheless, as the Carbonado is done, and I REALLY have to finish my unfinished projects (which are the LaFerrari and the Caparo), I will do that. I worked on the Caparo for too long already, so I will make a break from it, so I will continue the LF. And I already got a plan B I want to make while my free time :) Stay tuned.

Thats shame, TDU2 players will get it, we wont :(

Oh damn, I am really not a big fan of Atari's carbon fiber texture! :( but other than that it looks really good! :) Ofc you can improve some things here and there, but don't listen to me, I am always on the catch for perfection! :P

E: thinking about coming back to modding, somehow I miss TDU, even if it's oldschool, and I am used to Forza :D Has anyone a USB steer for me? Possibly not a g27, just need it to test the mods - driving with keyboard sucks and my steer is broken :) You can write me a PN for that.

Next step: Make the rims

Working on the bimmer, this is my car, i feel... :D Planned features: Daylight function (always on), new tyres (like on my benz 190e), leathers and trims variations, 2 or more rims, 6 gang manual gearbox and maybe some other stuff. W.i.p. pics soon! ;)
 
Ps.: Baah, spent hours on the damn rearlight, but now its done so far, and looks awesome. I think its will be looking cool in game, but we will see it. ;)

You can't belive how difficult this little vents in the front fender were to model. I started at 8 pm, and modeled -no joke- untill 2.32 am. Just for this little piece. ^^
 
And I added a mental ray car paint shader on the ave, although the color is making the car look a bit homo, with this pink highlight.. :D
 

 
Just 2-3 hours of work left on the exterior. Not long anymore, ave09!

The steering wheel is actually making me take the car out for a drive, not sure why.

i did actually fix that lambo aventadore roadster model. i transplanted the interior from the regular aventador (forza model) and put it in the roadster body. Came out quite nice actually... Good old forza 4 thanks for letting me steal your models :p

For those who not - I will make my Carbonado tomorrow.

Just started to make a gauge for agera.
But there a problem in front view there only a needle for speed but not rpm.
I dont know how to add digital gauge (like fxx) maybe parameters is stored in slot gauge in database :confused:

Nobody likes the Caparo :'( It is depressive now!
 

I have improved the front a bit today, after noticing, the axis was modeled wrong. It was a pain in a55 to remodel it, but it was worth it. Still not completely done with it, but I like it!
 

 
Tomorrow I am going to finish my Carbonado, because some mister modder wanted to convert it :) You'll get it ASAP, same with Norby's Ave - I'll really give my best fo finish it. I just had no opportunity to yet!
