  1. yeah, the admin moved it, breaking all the links (tres annoying) gonna rectify them later tonight
  2. I'm more intrigued by what the caterham is gonna be like in the rain if it's back... a bugger to handle i imagine, with windscreen wipers that are utterly hopeless (imagine a small dog wagging it's tail over your windscreen and you get the idea)
  3. 64... that was quite sad...
  4. I don't thik my PC will be able to hack TDU2, not to mention I might be back on a mac when it comes out. deffo for 360 though, I just hope that it doesn't break this year, with TDU2, Natal and fallout new vegas
  5. http://www.oxm.co.uk/article.php?id=17814 Look at the pictures, and admit you're wrong :D
  6. The only thing that scares me is how much better this game is, mixed with atari's new business model (of online revenue) what if it's online subscription? :s
  7. That car is probably what you're thinking of, it's purpose built by a company called carbon, it's called the E7 and should be headed for duty in 2012
  8. I know this is offtopic but i've just noticed that you live like, 10 miles down the road from me :p
  9. I may be mistaken, but the TDU2 which involved returning to Oahu was scrapped. TDU2 as we've seen was a different project, which is why Diab reffered to it as 'Test Drive: Next' which turned out to be 'Test Drive: High Life' (which is what we're seeing now) Simply put, don't assume we're on Oahu again until it's confirmed (they might do it as a surprise reveal later or something though) I'd also be weary if assuming we're having Hummers/Buggies/ATVs/Motocross Bikes. From what we know they're retaining the offroad aspect, but I have a suspicion they've toned it down from the hardcore offroad experience we've seen in concepts :)
  10. Clubhouses are in again, articles have said that you can customise your clubhouse, and also get special vehicles for having a good club (that only one member at a time can drive)
  11. Lol, I remember how long the demo for forza 2 took to download, it'll probably be just as bad for this simply because of teh traffic from here Edit: On another note, the first thing I'm doing when the game comes out is getting the achievement for buying cars off other people... I know they say lightening doesn't strike twice, but i'm not going to put it past atari to break it and disable it for a year again :P
  12. I still play N64 and Dreamcast games once in a blue moon, I'm really not that into graphics :p that said, TDU2 could do with looking better graphics than TDU, as the environments seemed a bit dead. I'd prefer it to just be busier really. I think as graphics are concerned, it doesn't need to be shinier, just better quality. No mountains turning to jagged spikes because of crap draw distance, no ultra low poly birds, no inanimate objects (like the parked cars in teh stadium car park) that looks like lego, and more realistic lighting. I think improvement only needs to be done environmentally. even when it was new I never thought of TDU as a looker in screens, the graphics only really shine during gameplay, because the environment is immersive. as long as the environment is convincing I really dont think the graphics of cars and stuff needs that much work, considering that most the time you're too busy trying to follow a road full of traffic than oogle the car
  13. I'm much more happy that they've made it more 'unlimited' to be honest. One of the reasons that I loved GTA: San Andreas so much (hell, even more than 4) is because if you wanted to do something, you just did it. The area was a playground, and that's what I felt with TDU, as you could do pretty much anything, but now some of the stuff that was fun, but severely gimped (like mountain climbing) is getting improved, to make it all the fun it's supposed to be I don't want the roads to look pretty, I just want them to be smooth, and i don't want cars to have twice the pixels, I just want them to be fun to drive, and handle uniquely, not 'same handling, different mesh' that you got with some cars on TDU1
  14. I agree, I hate graphics oriented games. For example, if GT5 hasn't got improved handling then its night mode and uber graphics then IMO it won't mean crap, because forza's handling is so much better than anything polyphony have offered. perhaps I'm strange but I prefer to play a game than beat off to the graphics.
  15. Magazines have said the version they've seen is almost complete. Which I think is great because it wont mean that they've got empty promises that get cut. It also means that rain and night time have been shown and we'll almost definitely be seeing them :D but it does also mean that we probably wont be getting much in teh way of surprises besides new cars
  16. For the most part, yeah, it's a similar road, however around the point where the lighthouse is it's all that dirt track, it's a national park or something. where I posted was just a little way further down the road than where you were looking
  17. the Idea of a KM isn't the only thing that is off! I Present to you, TDU's fastest road!
  18. When Diab decides to go back to normal, my name is Who, and I'm from wales. Which is probably the only country other than holland that can pronounce dutch words, as most of ours sound like you're choking on your tongue too :p
