    I went to Salford Uni for 3 yrs ... stayed in some definitely dodgy areas of Manchester/Salford However a mate now lives down by the Airport and that's not bad

    fell asleep on the sofa after eating food last night ... so never managed to turn the 360 back on ... also got annoyed with some missions on GTA before that !

      Thought I'd better make an appearance in this thread Hmmm 8c ... still haven't seen one in 'the flesh' I prefer the look of the Spider to the Coupe ... Oh and the 1st Pic, which Clarkson used has been my wallpaper on my work pc for quite a while carwalls is a good source Well Alfa only built a few 8C coupes ... and the Spider is out soon ... And supposedly there is more to come as it's Alfas 100th anniversary soon ... so there's rumour of a stripped out GTA variant !

      khevo ... you need to see the demo Peter gave at E3 on Monday as part of the main MS presentation, it's on a lot of the gaming sites ... as you're wandering around your world you will see floating purple orbs (what I was refering to in my initial post) ... these are the real time location of people on your friends list playing the game ... all you do is hit a button to either invite them to your world or join them in theirs ... sounds cool especially as the world is based on your decisions and so 'should' be different each time the one thing I'm still waiting to see 'demo-ed' is the extreme character morphs ... the new E3 trailer shows some male hero morphs ... including horns! hopefully some more vids will surface over the next few days

      so what do people think of the new look dashboard and avatars that have been shown at E3 ? I think the dash board looks very Sony (sorry to all those people out there who think it's a swear word) and as to the avatars they look like they've stepped out of 'Theme Park' or a game similar lets just hope they've got the serves ready as it looks like it's going to be a 'small' download when it's released (please note all sarcasm is intentional)

      saw a 360 CS on sunday at a petrol station in southend ... but then it was a reasonably nice day so everyone was out in their Ferrari as I saw about 6 during the day!

      Well as there doesn't seem to be a thread about this game I thought I'd start one. Well ages ago I bought a 360 as my PS2 had just died and I had heard about some Test Drive game coming out on the 360 ... it wasn't around at the time and when I bought my machine from a well known game store it game store it came with something called Oblivion, which I loved. I have never been a big fan of the 'hard core' RPGs ... played the FF series a couple of times on the PSs but never got into them that much ... but Oblivion I liked ... and then I started recent reading and watching Fable 2 (I've never played Fable and don't intend to) So having seen all the development diaries on XBLA, the stuff about character morphing and the jobs and family stuff ... and now just seen the neat trick about CO-OP with the orbs from the initial show at E3 (vids on ign if you haven't seen them yet) ... who else is really looking forward to this? Oh for reference my first play through will be as a woman and the decisions will be whatever I feel like at the time, not a purposeful Good or Evil route.

      yeah not too bad ... got absolutely trollied on Friday night ... pub till midnight and then a few of us back to a mates where we ended up drinking till 3am while playing with his new iphone and appletv box on his big plasma screen ... saturday was pretty much a wash out due to the previous nights activities ... sunday I was at a bbq most of the day

          It'll catch up with you ... one day it just does ... I was the least surprised seeing your pic compare with all the other people I talk to and now know what they look like ... don't know why, just difficult to explain

          Loved the 8C ... but then that would be obvious Race was great ... how funky is the front of the Bullet train? GT-R sounds like a great car ... just perhaps too easy to live with and Kate ... must really start watching more of the news on the BBC ;)

          good to see TVR back ... question is for how long ... unfortunately companies of this size and building these sorts of cars struggle to survive Oh and shame the mad interior has been dropped

            <cough> TUNER <cough> [RANT] Just let some EXTREEMLY rich bloke buy a Veyron and give it to a Tuner ... and then all these stupid people comparing Tuner and Stripped out Race cars to the Veyron will shut up [/RANT] Sorry I work in the industry and hate it when people incorrectly compare motor vehicles. It's like people saying a fully tuned Skyline will be a F430 ... yes it will but then go and modify the F430 so the engine lasts a few miles before you need to strip it down and then see who wins ... oh and for reference I had a Mini that would beat a Sierra Cosworth 0-60 ... I know cos I did it quite a few times

              Nah I'll stick with the Alfa ... the Alfa was never bought for speed ... style yes ... speed no My dad had a 2WD Saphire Cossie ... great fun! Sounds like you buy and sell quite a few cars
