Well in the UK the Fusion was advertised as being young and trendy for your late 20s early 30s ... but it looked bland (IMO) and the only people you see driving them on the UK roads are the 50s+ !

I presume you have a Euro Fusion and not a US one which is a big saloon car? As in the 'jacked' up Fiesta thingy ? Ghastly thing in my opinion ... complete cock-up if I do say so ... you need to look for the South American one ... that looked great ... styled to look like a mini-SUV but still a Fiesta ! Yeah you're thread title is all wrong ... firstly it's "Le Mans" rather than "lemans" ... and secondly as Nige has pointed out Audi have only pulled out of the full AMLS season (the strangely named American Le Mans Series ... why can't they call it sportscar/GT racing?) ... Le Mans has been a race in it's own right for years, even in European racing where there is/was (not too sure which) a sportscar/gt race series But then in my opinion Le Mans has gone down hill in recent years ... no decent enclosed LMPs for years

OK I went for Craig ... some people might think that as odd I grew up with Moore as Bond. My favourite film is "The Spy Who Loved Me" ... Decent Baddie(s), Esprit and Bach ... oh and great theme tune Did you know that there should have only been 2 Bonds before Craig ... Moore was wanted from the start but I think was doing TV stuff, and then Brosnan was wanted but had his TV career extended Why did I pick Craig ... well I think he's a good gritty Bond ... he's not supposed to be a likeable character ... Brosnan could have been a great Bond, but they gave him terrible films with Goldeneye being the prime example of 'Bond by numbers' (where they put in everything you'd expect in a Bond film for the sake of it) ... Dalton just didn't look right, too much of a luvvie darling ... Lazenby, well the less said about him the better ... Moore, a God but the films got too Comedic towards the end ... Connery, well he's very similar in style to Craig (or the other way round if you'd prefer it) but somehow I think Craig signifies Bond better

OK, here goes ... 1. it depends on how they flipped and what they flipped onto ... cars aren't 'generally' (some companies do) designed with a dynamic roll-over, the current legal test is for a load resistance on the roof within a certain crushable distance 2. in the case of the Countach and Diablo, they could easily have gone 'flat', more so in the case of the Countach (remember how old it is) 3. but if the vehicle has flipped and the roof structure hasn't collapsed you'd try and get them out of one of the windows, obviously front windscreen is the only option in the case of the Countach 4. as to worrying about injuring people while dragging them out of the car ... erm they've just flipped a car, they'll be injured anyway 5. as to the car exploding ... well that requires a fire from somewhere (normally an electrical short circuit) ... and in the process of the 'flip-over' the cars on board sensors should have cut the fuel pump off ... most probably again apart from said Countach ... oh and petrol as such doesn't explode ... the petrol will catch fire and that will be messy ... what explodes is the fuel tank if there is sufficient fuel vapour inside the tank ... oh and somehow you need to heat it to a high enough temperature with it still under enough presssure 6. unless your name is Clark Kent or Mariusz Pudzianowski turning the car over by yourself will be impossible! 7. do you realise how much of a complete Tool you'd have to be to flip one of these cars ? Well I think that's enough from me on this subject ... for now at least

Well you implied that Lotus's have always been 100% Lotus ... I was just pointing out that they aren't ... I wasn't implying Lotus have always used someone elses engines ... just that on some models these days they are ... Oh and the Toyota Engines are available in UK spec cars too ... I think you'll find it was partly for Euro IV emissions and partly as engine development costs a lot of money so it's cheaper to buy and engine in and possibly tweak it if you have the time / money Oh and sharing Blocks is even more common ... the bottom end of my engine is from a GM ! ... but then so is the front end structure of the body!!!!! Trust me I know a 'little' about the car industry!

Diablo - my comment on awards if you're going to do them this year is this The forum has become a lot more that what it was last year, last year it was predominantly 360 TDU players and we pretty much all 'lived' in the game, i know there were non-360 awards too. These days the forum covers a lot more and is more the common thread bringing people together rather than a specific game or platform, so if you are going to do awards this year I think there should be a reasonable variation in the awards. or my second suggestion ... just make them daft ones to go with the general trend of the forum!

Erm you might want to go further back into the archives as what you've viewed is the first episode of the first series of the NEW Top Gear ... the old motoring programme the BBC had was previously Top Gear and that was a completely different kettle of fish. It was good in it's time but was from a completely different era. Now that's showing my age compared to you kids ! As to current Top Gear ... Well I've loved it from the off ... Fifth Gear I hate for a number of reasons ... Plato, crash tests that tell the public nothing valuable, Plato, copying Top Gear, Plato, Copying Top Gear and Plato ... I think you get the point ... but then Fifth Gear was started by the old Top Gear production crew when the BBC originally shut the programme down ... things I like about Fifth Gear ... Tiff ... he's a legend ... oh and VBH's laugh !

erm you might want to check on whos engines Lotus use aswell ! No one is truely from one country these days anyway as lots of parts will be built by suppliers, and also there aren't that many independant companies these days ... for example Electrics - Bosch or Siemens - both German Brakes - Brembo - Italian Seats - Sparco - Italian and that's just the tip of the iceberg so back OT There's only one Mini and that was made by Austin/BL/Rover The BMW thing was never a Mini ... it was a car with styling cues from the Mini but it was never a Mini but then you all knew I was going to make those sort of comments!
