I have to admit previously being a Sony-boy that I still 'might' get a PS3 ... mainly for GT5, Metal Gear and Little Big Planet (love the physics engine!) ... but also it's tempting now that Blueray appears to have won the HD war! ... the only problem is I'll need an HDMI switch box which will most probably be in the shape of a new amplifier/tuner so another 700 quid at least on top of the cost of the PS3! but back to the topic ... I'll be happy enough to play GTA on the 360 even if it might seem wierd I'm not on a PS*

Hey Nige you might want to check your calendar ... 29th April is a TUESDAY! Lets just hope this plays like San Andreas (or better) without any sacfices for graphics I for 1 will most probably dissappear off the TDU Planet for at least a month when this comes out

I bought it after noticing 'the crew' playing it ... Pretty good so far, graphics are great, usual Burnout handling and speed .. pretty good music track list I just wish there was a view that was glued to the back of the car rather than at some points spinning the car on the screen! Not tooo sure how long it'll be till I'm bored ... I do like the fact you can start silly crashes anywhere

in short American V8s are normally a bigger litre-age (cc) and don't rev to the same rpm as an italian V8 - higher rpm higher noise in detail though engine noise is effected by: bore and stroke (which combined determines capacity cc/litre/c in) rev limit (which will be effected by the bore and stroke) cylinder firing order - and in turn which cylinders feed which exhaust if you have more than one exhaust pipe exhaust - length of pipes, number of muffler boxes (and their size) pipe diameter, where/how the exhaust is mounted to the car and if they add any clever baffles to 'tune' the noise well that's just a few of the variables ... sorry can't think of much else ... I don't design engines!

There is NO answer to this question? It depends on what you are classing as better and also what sort of cars you are talking about, over what time period and what sort of price range. Remember Style, Noise, Ride and Handling are subjective (Handling less subjective than the others as you can say one car handles better than an other, but people tend to have a prefered handling style to a car ... whether thay like a car to have understeer, oversteer or be neutral) Performance isn't but depends on your parameters I could name good and bad cars from all 3 regions Euro, US & Japan, but what I name as good and bad might be the complete opposite to other people

well if you want to get on the circuit you could always take a fast car there and just charge at the flower bed to the right of the entrance and hope you hit the right spot at the right speed then once you're on the circuit add it as a bookmark

scottish I think you'll find the Wii is hardly doing anything there ... you'll notice a laptop in front of the tv ... I think you'll find that is doing the number crunching ... it's just that he's used the Wiis programming for the motion sensor relationship between the Wiimote and the sensor bar

That guy is SERIOUSLY clever ... and the demo is amazing ... i was blown away especially by how sone of the discs look like theyre miles infront of the screen

OK I've kept away from this thread to see what other people would put down first ... so trying to come up with some additions that I haven't read on Diablos front page 1. Trade - do something similar to Ebay where you put a reserve, auction time, but-out price ... but unlike Forza2 when trying to buy a car you can put in your maximum bid in and it'll increment like ebay, rather than having to hope your online when the auction is about to end 2. Bugs/Secrets - make sure there are places where real world physics DON'T apply ... things like the hole in the top of the tunnel and the houses you can drive into and fall through the world add to the game as they take some discovering P.S. if the developers do an invite day to gauge opinions and want an 'older' gamer along that loves his driving games ...................
