  1. :hiya: Suddenly, it's a Pokemon Go world, and we're just living in it - Chicago Tribune Nintendo leaps 25% on Pokemon Go but the hurdle to killer profits is high - CNBC Pokemon GO's Already Capturing Minds — And Money - Bloomberg Are you Catching 'Em All? Pokemon GO is taking the world by storm. It is in so many news headlines, it is causing record share increases at Nintendo and it isn't even released in most countries just yet, most of all Japan?! It seems like an absolutely amazing idea, it is getting people up off of their Office Chair and out into the world trying to discover Pokémon. It is making people exercise and meet new people and it also seems quite fun at the same time? Yes there are going to be downsides, you'll hear of people getting into trouble or whatever as a result of the game but I don't think they're worth taking note of just yet. - It already has more active users than Tinder - It is close to reaching Twitter's figure of daily active users too Will you be playing it once it hits your market? Will you be ordering an Ash costume from amazon? Will you be calling your girlfriend Misty in the bedroom?
  2. It'd definitely be something only petrol-heads should consider, I imagine they're the type of car you develop a bit of a relationship with and then end up forgiving them for all the faults/time in the garage. Not for someone that wants something a bit different to just get from A-B. Feel free to post another car whenever people :D
  3. Not a fan of the second ones down. The last ones are  They look amazing. There's no question/debate for me, it's them or none :cheeky:
  4. It is very cheap I agree, but not 'omg there's no WAY that is legit!' cheap, here's a UK equivalent: Maserati Quattroporte 4.2 DuoSelect 4dr Still ridiculous amounts of car for the money. But yeah I agree, it'd be an absolute endless amount of repair bills. But to have a 'ferrari engineered' engine'd 4 door Italian designed car with that sound, if you buy one for £17k and then end up having to spend £4-5k over 3 years to keep it on the road. Is it not kinda still worth it? If you have 17k and that is all you have, then yeah stay clear, but if you have a £22-25k budget and put money aside for repairs is it still a hell of a lot of car for the money?
  5. Let us know how it goes, upload some screenshots to the Gallery if possible? :) I'm looking for something to kill time on my iphone at the moment and this might be just the ticket!
  6. Yeah I guess there's just some frustration as when you see the Mission E was unveiled a year ago, is planned to hit the roads in what, 2020? Yes the design is cool but the performance figures don't seem that radical thanks to Tesla. We're waiting until 2020 for a car which is basically a Tesla Model S (first released in 2012) but with a Porsche design and interior? It all seems rather crazy. All I can think is that they're making huge leaps behind the scenes and before we know it, we'll have a 3 series EV, X3 EV, X5 EV etc all within a short space of time.
  7. 959s, Countachs and the F40  The 80s really was an amazing time for Supercars. I'm confused by the inclusion of that Diablo though?
  8. Came here to post that video just now, it's a very interesting piece and it's taken them a while to make it (Matt from TST's interview was in 2014, he sold that car literally 2 weeks ago!). What did you think?
  9. Stealing this idea from Jalopnik, as their latest Nice Price or Crack Pipe is something that has confused me more than most of them do. Take it in turns to post a used Car Ad and we decide if it is a good deal, or if it is too big a risk or too high a price tag for what they're selling: Starting off with 2006 Maserati Quattroporte 2006 Maserati Quattroporte: - 52k Miles - $17500 Great value or nah m8 u cray?
  10. Even I am looking forward to this, and I haven't looked forward to a game in years. I don't think the roll out will be very smooth though, a game of this magnitude is bound to have a few hiccups along the way, but I hope i'm proven wrong.
  11. Supposedly the Mulsanne might have an EV variant sometime 's**n': Bentley Mulsanne to swap its V8 for electric power | Autocar It makes complete and perfect sense really? Limos are popular in China, where low emissions is essential for the world to continue to function haha, these high end Marques need to lower their emissions by law, EVs are quiet and have crazy torque which is perfect for a Limo. My only question is about charging times tbh, If you need to take a 300 mile trip and you own a Mulsanne EV, I can't imagine CEOs etc have the time to be sat at a charging station for an hour
  12. Images from Autocar Next gen Cayenne spotted. Are we going to get the new Panamera rear end on the back of the old cayenne and call it a day? With the Panamera interior shoved in too, I presume so. The article mentions a possible electric Cayenne. How long have electric Porsches been discussed now? I know development and engineering is not a quick process but the issue is that I don't see it happening within the next few years, for them to be on our driveways anyway. Are they holding back on purpose? Have there been issues? Tesla were meant to release the Model X years ago, they've got such a head-start on everyone.
  13. How did the M2 live up to expectations? You are a big BMW fan so I guess asking this question might not be all that worthwhile, but if you had the money would you be looking at an M2 for yourself, or a competitor?
  14. This is true, definitely something to keep in mind. Wonder when we'll be hearing about the condition of Rosberg's gearbox from the last race? Surely if it was something they would have to retire him from the race for if he didn't get the verbal assistance over the radio, it is a gearbox they'll need to replace before the next race and get the 5 place grid penalty for Hungary? 5 place penalty in Hungary is a fairly big deal, track position is more important there than on other tracks.
  15. Great race :) Hammy is now one point behind Rosberg in the championship after being 43 points behind at one point
  16. Yeah I'd say that was the EXP10, looks a lot lower to the floor. I'm hoping that we shouldn't be taking any interest in the body panels, they look like they've just glued on some Conti GT panels to the test car like most marques tend to for testing. :hmmm: I don't think the actual one will look anything like that. Cats out of the bag as to whether they'll be making a soft top version though!
  17. Is that actually a Conti GT though? I've read they're definitely producing a sportier car like the Speed 6. :hmmm: The next Conti will be a brand new model rather than a facelift won't it? So it could be either I guess. I love Bentley atm, both Bentley and Porsche are producing amazing products atm.
  18. I imagine a fair few people have heard of him but I've only just recently started watching his videos, MotoManTV :) I can't imagine he is to everyone's taste but I quite like him. https://www.youtube.com/user/MotoManTV/videos
  19. The stewards need to get their act together before tomorrow's race, if they're going to have this "no tolerance" ethos tomorrow then they need to stop being so inconsitent or else they'll ruin the race.
  20. Media Tweets by Jeremy Clarkson (@JeremyClarkson) on Twitter Not seen any other journalists put pics of the DB11 in their hands just yet (lots of videos of journalists driving a camouflaged pre-production vehicle were released about 2-3 months ago), has the star power of the trio gotten them an exclusive or whatever do you think? :hmmm: If not exclusive, in that they might not show the film before the media embargo is lifted, I still think they're one of the first to get one.
  21. Hey Pete, welcome to TDUCK :)
  22. Yet it is how 99% of other people would describe his time on TG? :)
  23. The main issue with him throughout this thread has been his voice, and how shouty he is? and you're recommending his radio show? :p I think i'll pass.
  24. If i'm honest I haven't truly warmed to Reid, something about him just doesn't come across well, he seems too uncomfortable and over the top happy, maybe with time that'll change though. Glad Evans has gone, and it's good that he took this step quickly himself. I imagine he knew he was going to do it for a fair while now. If he does a memoir/autobiography in the next few years i'd definitely be interested in hearing his viewpoint on it all.
  25. Had absolutely amazing seats to see Beyoncé tonight. Such an incredible evening, one to remember :nods:
