  1. I think I prefer the hard top :hmmm: I prefer the 488 as a convertible though.
  2. - AM-RB 001 Concept - 99 Road cars, 24 more extreme track editions, delivery starts in 2018 - 1:1 hp/kg ratio, they expect it to have around 1000hp. - Not much active aero, quite a simple design. - Supposedly much faster than any other road car on sale right now
  3. I wonder whether GM will try and have a lalalala car to match the GT? Considering how much more upmarket the new GT is, well mainly just in price and exclusivity, does GM really have an equivalent?
  4. I'm playing Syndicate at the moment, I don't think I ever played Unity, is it any good? I really enjoyed Black Flag, so I'm thinking I might get Rogue too. I love AC and although it is repetitive, I don't tend to get bored. It'd be on PS4, wonder if Rogue and Unity would be cheap to pick up from a shop :hmmm: Edit: They never did a Rogue for PS4 >.< What a pain in the arse.
  5. Uranus I'll be mature, sorry. :p Look at the statistics of how likely you are to die, you are much less likely to die a violent death in 2016 than at almost any period in time before now. So why should we live in fear of moving to the US or Europe or wherever? Of course people will still die, and if you do move to somewhere like the Gaza strip then okay, you're asking for the odds to increase exponentially. But I just think if you say no to moving to Paris because you're scared you might die, even though the chances are ridiculously ridiculously low and not much higher than where you live now, does that not mean the terrorists have won? As terror has been successfully and efficiently spread. Basically #YOLO, don't let it play such a big role in your decision making. Things like careers etc are valid reasons :p
  6. Hmmmm, I'm all for having a laugh but if you're not getting on the podium at the end of the weekend, then all the jokes and lulz can be easily criticised as a distraction and unnecessary :p Red Bull have thrown away a lot of points this year so far, they should probably concentrate on fixing that than having some lulz. I really want to see Ricciardo do well.
  7. Could you not park a bit further away from the grass if you're certain it'll happen again? :hmmm:
  8. All I see here is that we are hypothetically in a worse situation because of our location? :hmmm: Perhaps in the distant future you might be true, but we have absolutely no way of predicting that :p Europe may be closer to parts of the world in turmoil, but in reality the US is itself in turmoill. You're much more likely to be murdered in the US than in Europe, these are facts published by the UN. If someone is about to shoot me in the face do I care if they're a foreign muslim extremist or an angry disenfranchised citizen? No not at all, that is the last thing I'd care about in that situation.
  9. 100 years ago and 70 years ago? :hmmm: I know it might be quite 'recent history' but it's by no means something our generation has had to deal with  I agree with Anders, I think a Murican complaining about european security issues is kinda odd.
  10. Ah really? I think the idea of a 4 door Porsche is great. They've proven they can put class-leading driving dynamics in larger vehicles, and the interiors are out of this world. So having a practical and thankfully now good looking Panamera is great. If I were to talk into a Porsche dealership tomorrow I think i'd be ordering a Panamera, but I'd probably wait until a GTS model is released.
  11. Not sure you're going to get the C6 you want, they've only just released this bland box of a C6 for China: The Turbo was in my post? :p with its specs etc.
  12. Yeah definitely, next they'll have a bench seat in the front and a column shifter :p
  13. Citroen have done a Citroen. Here is a reminder of what the old C3 looked like in case you've forgotten, this is a fairly big redesign. No it's by no means an attractive looking car, in fact it might be quite offensive looking to some and I'd understand why. But I still think it's a huge improvement over the old one, and I can't help but be happier cars like this exist on the road? :p Who'd want the past C3 over a German equivalent? By making it funky it moves into its own market demographic.
  14. The SIARC segment does need some work. The 'get one guest to tell us what the other guest is on TG to promote' method is absolutely appalling, why haven't they dropped it yet, can they not see it's ridiculously awkward and forced? But I do like the comparing best and worst cars, but that only really works when you know the guests quite well, if they're strangers to anyone but us brits people will simply tune out and not care.
  15. First time having Buffalo? What did you think? :) If you mean Buffalo wings now i'm going to throw something at you.
  16. Funny how the grass is always greener :p The animals, insects and sheer crazy amount of things out to kill you in 'Strayliaaaa just makes it a no-myk zone for the foreseeable future haha. I've been offered flights over next year but I haven't decided if I'm taking them yet.
  17. As someone who moved abroad as part of their studies, do it! It might be hard at times, in fact it might be hard for the entire time you're there if you miss the fam and friends but when it's over you'll realise just what an amazing experience it was :) Surely you must have some clue as to where you want to go? Depends what kind of experience you want from your studies, somewhere prestigious, somewhere #crayparty or somewhere a bit exotic and culturally different to home.
  18. TopGear hasn't quite tanked as badly as everyone expected, yes some of the episodes have been hilariously awful and the drama behind the scenes should be made into a soap daytime TV drama but all in all, it's not that bad. I imagine these three are feeling the stress because of that. If this is just ridiculously scripted, not at all car related and not interesting to actual car fans then jesus they're going to be slaughtered by the media. Getting a bit nervous about this as it gets closer to airing, I do hope it's brilliant though, they've had a fair amount of time.
  19. :hiya: In the wake of #BREXIT (imagine the sound of thunder in the background as you read that), and the words 'CLOSE DA BORDERZ, SEND DEM HOME, GO BACK TO UR OWN COUNTREE!' being said by the stupid people we have in this god forsaken country, the benefits of free movement and migration can never be emphasised enough. Do you see yourself moving abroad in the future? If so Where? Why? Who? How? When? Has the ball already started rolling to get this plan into action? Are you currently needing to #goback2urowncountry, are you already an Alien In New York? IfI so where are you and where are you originally from, how long have you been there? If you're too much of a home-bird and don't see yourself ever flying the nest, but have always dreamed of being the type of person that would, where would you go? Another LETS START A BLOODY CONVERSATION YOU BUNCH OF LAZY SODS thread started by #myk2016 xo
  20. Didn't enjoy Sunday's episode to be honest. Rory's segment was awful. It was basically a free F-Type advert for Jaguar on prime time television? I don't quite understand its purpose. Did he once say anything remotely negative about the car? I don't think he did. His challenge was awful, he made it seem really really hard and like it was such a big deal and it just blatantly wasn't that stressful a challenge and it simply wasn't a challenge at all was it? The car pulled onto the Motor Show stand without a spec of dirt on the entire car so it's not as if he was running that late they couldn't clean the thing  It just seemed all a bit too fake, forced, trying to make it seem exciting when it just wasn't. I like the car though. LeBlanc seemed a bit.....missing from this ep too, he was there and there was enough of him, he just doesn't seem all that interested in anything  The vote for old vs new Rolls was a bit crap and could have been done much better. Episode rating? 4/10
  21. What are peoples predictions for Austria this weekend? I'm quite happy we're back to one of the more traditional tracks, after Baku 2 weeks ago it just feels a bit more F1-y :p Rosberg beat hammy to 1st last year, but after doing so last week Hammy needs to do well this weekend. Could be interesting.
