  1. Not to sure tbh as they are different types of game. Burnouts good but I haven't been on that in a while but thats good if you like speeding about and crashing. Other good cheap driving sims are PGR4 and Forza (I've seen you've played them) or Colin Mcrea Dirt, I really enjoyed that game, good fun but its rubbish online. Ace Combat I haven't played but there is tons of DLC for it. and the other one isn't really my cup of tea. If you want a cheap shoot em up one go for CoD4 or wait for CoD 5, online is brilliant on that (not that I play it alot) or RSV as lots of people play that still.
  2. Like it, they've got a similar one in ETS. AN idea for you, not sure if it can be done, but could you alter the raod texture to make it look like there are leafs on the side of the road???. Also do they have autum in hawaii??? keep up the good work
  3. There already a thread about this, CMM made it when it was 1st announced http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=3611

  8. I read on Autoblog yesterday out of all the brands under Chrysler the Viper is the only one that hasn't slowed down selling and that all the ACR models are sold, mainly due to investment reasons as if the Viper and dodge do die then their value will shoot through the roof
  9. a few things I have noticed now there are links, there doesn't seem to be a any front or side fan on that case and with that big card it will need some good cooling. Also that is a big card so make sure there will be enough room in the case for it. If you stick with that case maybe a black DVD drive will look better instead of a white one.
  10. Looks good, would've gone for a P45 mobo instead of a P35 and also most boards come with half decent soundcard onbaord now. Also I think the HD4870 out performs the gtx 260 and is alot better value for money or it was a little while ago. And why would you need another pluag as you would get one with the PSU. Also could link each product to its page as i'm a bit lazy :p

  13. Honda unveils leg assist machine for elderly 7 hours 50 mins ago Print Story Honda Motor, a pioneer of humanoid robots, on Friday unveiled a new walking assist machine designed to make it easier for the elderly to climb stairs and help factory workers. Related photos / videos The computerised leg device is the latest addition to walking technology developed by the Japanese automaker, which announced the world's first two-legged walking robot, ASIMO, in 2000. The 6.5 kilogramme (14.3-pound) device -- consisting of a saddle, leg-like frames and shoes -- can reduce the load on users' legs while walking or climbing and descending stairs by supporting bodyweight, Honda said. Honda said the motor-powered machine is still at an experimental stage, but elderly people and people undergoing rehabilitation who need support for their leg muscles and joints are the main target. The device is also expected to help assembly workers to keep a crouching position, Honda said, adding that it plans to test the device at one of its factories north of Tokyo. Like with a unicycle, users ride on the seat sustained by frames that can bend and extend like knees with two motors controlled by signals from sensors inside the shoes. "We used ASIMO's technology for developing the walking assist device," Masato Hirose, a senior engineer at Honda Research and Development, told AFP. "ASIMO is designed to be used as a tool, but the walking assist device is designed to complement real human bodies," he said. "Both will exist for the sake of people." ASIMO, which resembles a child in an astronaut suit, has been used as a receptionist and master of ceremonies at home and overseas, while dancing and singing with musicians at concerts. Honda has yet to decide on further details such as when the latest device will go on sale and at what price, but the company sees a market for it in Japan, which has an ageing population. "First, we hope to have visible results in rehabilitation and other medical fields," Hirose said. "Then we will look at welfare as another target." Last year, Honda unveiled its first walking assist device with a stride management system, which can help users move their thighs back and forth. From BTYahoo news
  14. Just an update over 1800 complaints now: Top Gear's Clarkson faces call for sack in new row 8 hours 5 mins ago An MP has called for controversial BBC presenter Jeremy Clarkson to be sacked, as a growing number of viewers complained about remarks he made in a new row rocking the broadcasting giant. More than 1,800 people have complained about the comments, in which the notoriously-provocative frontman of the cult show "Top Gear" made fun of lorry drivers, according to a BBC spokeswoman. On the latest edition of the show Sunday, Clarkson crashed a lorry through a brick wall for a stunt, and commented: "This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers, it's a hard job. "Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day," added the 48-year-old. Earlier this year a former lorry driver, Steve Wright, was convicted of murdering five prostitutes in Ipswich in a case which attracted a huge amount of publicity. Chris Mole, a Labour Party MP who represents the constituency where Wright committed the murders, said Thursday that Clarkson should be dismissed. "The murders in my constituency in 2006 were horrific and the community has spent a lot of time pulling together to respond constructively to such dreadful events," he wrote in a letter to BBC director general Mark Thompson. "For Mr Clarkson to make light of murder in any circumstance must be a dismissible offence," he added. The BBC, which has said Clarkson's remarks were intended to make fun of "an unfair urban myth about the world of lorry driving," said that as well as complaints it had received 150 calls in support of the presenter. Meanwhile an online games developer unveiled a new game which gives lorry drivers the chance to run down and "kill" Clarkson. It allows players to control an animated Clarkson being chased by angry truckers. "Jeremy Clarkson is a loveable rogue, but we think he's overstepped the mark this time. So we figured we'd give truckers the chance for revenge," said Sadia Chishti of T-Enterprise, designer of the game "Run Clarkson Run." The Clarkson row came after Lesley Douglas, the head of the BBC's most popular radio station Radio Two, quit last week over offensive on-air comments by top presenters Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand. Brand resigned and Ross has been suspended for 12 weeks over the comments, made in a phone prank played on veteran actor Andrew Sachs, who starred in the 1970s comedy "Fawlty Towers." #From BTyahoo news
  15. Most truck drivers thought it was funny and didnt find it an insult as he was making fun of an old myth, even the head of Eddie stobart has got behind him. Its the PC mob gone mad
  16. This is another jonathoin ross, russel brand secnario, ok theres was worse and shouldnt have been broadcast (editors mucked up big time). The point with that example I'm trying to make is that they had 2 complaints, then after the 1st day in the press they had 10,000 after the second day it went to 20,000 and by the third it was 30,000 and so on. At the end of the day the thing that annoyes me the most is that people go out of there way to listen again to the show (should have been pulled from wherever it was) and then put more effort into compaining. I hate the PC lot. Back to clarkson, it was on sterotyping and even Edward Stobart himself laughed about it and said it was related to an oild urban myth, ok in light of the forklift driver (very loose connection as two different vehicles with the same word) may have been a bit bad but it was not diected at that and people jumping on the PC bandwagon is why the country is in the state it is (not the financial one).
  17. strange, would like to know more myself as ive never seen them before
  18. Clarkson comment complaints top 500 1 hour 40 mins ago The BBC said complaints about the Top Gear show in which Jeremy Clarkson joked about murdering prostitutes have risen to more than 500. Clarkson comment complaints top 500 The Top Gear presenter, 48, made the quip about lorry drivers killing sex workers on Sunday's BBC2 show. As he completed a lorry-driving task, he said: "This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers, it's a hard job. Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day." His comments come after serial killer Steve Wright was convicted in February of murdering five prostitutes in Ipswich. Wright was a former lorry driver, as well as pub landlord and forklift truck driver. Clarkson's joke, made before the watershed, had sparked 188 complaints to the BBC by Monday morning, out of what the Corporation said was seven million viewers. The Iceni Project, a charity which had helped some of the murdered prostitutes in Ipswich, previously criticised the remark. The group's director, Brian Tobin, said: "I just think it was highly distasteful and insensitive." Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom said it had been contacted by viewers angry at the remarks. The complaints were being assessed against the Broadcasting Code before a decision was made whether or not to investigate. But others held different views, including Eddie Stobart chief executive Andrew Tinkler, who said the reference was used to comically exaggerate an unfair urban myth about the world of lorry driving. He said: "They were just having a laugh." A BBC spokesman said: "The vast majority of Top Gear viewers have clear expectations of Jeremy Clarkson's long-established and frequently provocative on-screen persona. This particular reference was used to comically exaggerate and make ridiculous an unfair urban myth about the world of lorry driving, and was not intended to cause offence." From BTYahoo news
  19. Never seen that before, have you checked over on the official boards??
  20. This sounds really really good. Cant wait for the new spec cars, I remember having a pic of Mansells Red 5 on my wall might even be tht pic. Shame it has to go backwards to advance, but I would love it if fleetwood mac returned
  21. lol, I've got one but it ain't on a vehicle. But it doesn't say my name either. Unlike oliver. I thought it was good, more entertainment for the first show. Thought the end was rather stupid though, mays was the safest but the portakabin was stupid and then driving a magnum through a brick wall is even worse especially due to the way the magnum cab sits (you could tell by the way it lifted up off the cab mounts). The rest was good, but I would like to see some more car reviews rather than the fart arsing about.
  22. Wow,the stats just get bigger and bigger. So I reckon we're on for over 100GB bandwidth for November with 4000 members.
