I need a new phone cradle, mine fell out of the dashboard and broke on the floor about half an hour before I put the carpets back down! :( I'll make some proper driving videos when I get a new cradle and get my cooling sorted out.

Knowing how to and being able to do it the first time you try are two very different things. This is the first car I've driven with no ABS and the first time I've had to break hard in it. And with me turning off a roundabout going down a wet hill, it just made it ever so slightly more difficult...

He almost crashed into me. He did crap himself when he heard my tyres sliding down the hill towards him. Maybe that's what made my car have a pee. :lol: Just ordered about £100 worth of parts too. Not sure when they'll get here though.

New speakers came today so I set them up. No bass at all so :hmmm:. Turns out the person who put the wiring in mixed up the + and - cables so I just swapped them around on one speaker and voila, they sound awesome! But with something good comes something bad. Went up to my brothers only to see that my car decided to take a pee on his driveway. Lost about half a litre of coolant liquid and a small blob of oil. :eek: Whilst faffing around under the car trying to spot the leak I noticed that there's a bolt missing from the timing cover and it looks like that's where some of the oil was coming from! And the blob of oil was around where the gearbox linkage goes into the transmission which shouldn't be too difficult. I made it home and the oil level had gone up to what it was before(probably parked on a slight hill before) and the coolant hadn't leaked anymore but was steaming a little. I'd only driven about 4 or 5 miles in total. Oh, someone nearly put a dent in my car too. He decided to cross the road without looking and no ABS = almost needing new jeans. :lol:

Mini! I was taking it steady though because it was quite wet and my tyres were very worn at the time.

Well that's a bit wrong. A Mini is supposed to leak oil... It's not a true Mini if it hasn't got at least 1 leak! :lol:

Had two new tyres fitted, and repaired the rear tyres. It drives so much better now and seems comfier. No wheel wobble upto 55 now although I'm not sure about any faster as I didn't try. Also just ordered some Pioneer speakers for the rear parcel shelf. Need to wire in the door speakers too as the cables have been cut off and pulled out. You get 7 minutes! And trust me, 7 minutes of an A series engine is enough to drive most people up the wall. They're so loud. :lol:

I've had one uploaded to youtube for a few hours but it's 40 mins long and 1080p so it's taking a while to get past the "edit in progress" bit and I need to cut a bit from the start of the video. There's 7 minutes of just the engine noise and video with no talking until I muted the video.

I don't know why mine's so shiny. I washed it when it was dark so I couldn't even see what I was doing. :lol: Not waxed it either. All I used was some car shampoo, and not even expensive stuff. Carplan Tripplewax I think it's called. Maybe drying it with big microfibre cloths helped. *shrug*
