  1. Got 60 in mine today in about 8.8 seconds. Not terribly bad to say it was wet and I pulled away normal at 1500rpm. Going to wait for a dry day and thrash it down a nice straight road to see what it can really do. It's definitely been remapped though so I'm hoping for 8 seconds or under.
  2. Way to ignore the first few lines of the thread.
  3. For my next car I'm wanting a Lotus Elise although for the next few years I have no chance of being allowed to spend so much on a car. Sooo I'll probably end up buying another Mini to do as a proper project instead of an accidental project once I've fixed up my current Mini. Someone needed to restore the Bini/Mini balance here. Unless I have kids or buy a house in a few years then I won't be getting either. :(
  4. Crashed after 15 minutes again. Don't know what to spend my money on. :hmmm: Any ideas?
  5. :hmmm: Sounds promising. I'll have to go on it again some time. Does anyone here still play during normal people hours? Not 1am?
  6. *Makes a new road* Sod paths! In other news, you get the same people repping the same few people over and over again. ZOMG I had a brilliant day, I ate chips *+ rep*
  7. Finally made some time to get the camshaft position sensor our of my car to clean it up. Runs soooo much smoother now and no annoying misfires when idling. Pulls a lot better too. Just need to order a few new things and give it a proper full service. :) I <3 MG Rover

    That

That, it deserves it's own thread apparently. So here you go, that.
  9. Maybe he just needed the toilet. Real simulation. It is next-gen after all...
  10. It's one of the older TFs from 2003. And yes, a person can fit in the boot, my friend tried.
  11. Tada! Two growling poo shoots. The rear boot is actually much bigger than it looks on this. Easily fit 8 or so full bags of shopping in(does get hot though so no frozen food as I found out the hard way) and then you can fit a few under the bonnet at the front too. It's an amazing car to drive when it's dry. There's just so much grip even with the crappy Chinese tyres on it. No understeer at all and the back end stays planted unless I do something really stupid. In the wet it's a completely different animal, it'll kick it's arse out every chance it gets. And while it's incredibly fun to do that coming off a roundabout or pulling out of a junction it's not exactly safe or what I want from a daily driver. So fairly soon I'm ordering some Toyo tyres which are apparently some of the best handling tyres for this car. It's also surprisingly good as a daily driver for work, shopping and being a taxi. Driven it for hours none stop and the only thing that ached was my clutch ankle because I've not driven a manual for a while. Not done too well to say I wanted a cheap, practical car that I wouldn't want to spend any money on... New tyres, ECU remap, washer jets, aux cable for the head unit, ODBII cable to plug my laptop into it, another aux power plug, new MG badges, autoglym stuff, and a bit more. Wouldn't mind upgrading the intake/exhaust system one day either. :)
  12. I'm not fussed with the graphics, I thought they were fine. It's just the controls and feel of the movement. I dunno, maybe I'm just too used to BF3. I know it will grow on me as I felt the same about the BF3 Alpha and beta. But I think I'll leave BF4 until I get it on the PS4.
  13. I prefer BF3 over the BF4 beta to be honest. It has potential but it just doesn't feel quite right to me.
  14. It was one of the first TFs made. But he added to his tally and wrote it off by crashing into the side of a car as he pulled out of a junction. Suppose it's not as bad as the building he wrote another car off on, or even the lorry. It's the 1.8 too. :D
  15. Thanks. I kinda fell in love with them the first time I had a ride in my uncles about 10 years ago. Picking it up tomorrow with it's shiny new central locking, head gasket and cam belt. Can't wait. :)
  16. Few issues for me yesterday to begin with but once I was past the tutorial I didn't have a single issue apart from a random floating car. Not bad for 4 hours online.
  17. This and the BF4 beta. I downloaded both and lunch and neither worked. But in the end I managed to get into the first race tutorial thing in GTA then I just got stuck on the loading screen after.
  18. It's going to a garage that specialises in MGs and Land Rovers which also use the K-series engine. I know the garage to so trust that the work will be done properly. Just can't wait to dive it now. Supposed to be getting a call on Tuesday to let me know when it should be ready. First thing I'm going to do is disconnect the exhaust control valve that block off one of the pipes to make it quieter at low revs. I want both poo shoots working all the time! And also swap the speakers for the ones in my Mini. And maybe in a few months get the ECU remapped to improve throttle response and torque delivery. My uncle had it done to his and said I should get it done as it makes it feel like a completely different car to drive.
  19. Got let down by the person who I was gonna buy the Audi from and saw this. Thought I'd get an insurance quote for a laugh and it turned out to be quite reasonable. Went to see it this afternoon Noticed a few things wrong with it and pointed them out as he only got the car in yesterday. Mainly the electric windows being stuck and there being white/yellow mayonnaise like stuff on the oil dipstick which points to head gasket problems. But he's booking it into an MG specialist garage that he uses and getting those fixed along with checking everything else on the car is working fine before letting me have it. Comes to the tune of between £800-£1000 work at no cost to me. Paint has small chips around the usual areas which is expected on a 9 year old car but the interior is perfect apart from the lalala lighter cover missing and the pedals being a bit scuffed. Will be perfect parked next to my Mini when it's back on the road.
