  1. Only 2 cars for me I'm afraid: 1.) Ferrari 250GT California LWB 2.) Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing
  2. Like Hybrid said, the NSX is a supercar. And best supercar ever? McLaren F1. End of. What other car can reach almost 240bhp with 627bhp still being naturally aspirated??
  3. It's not always the same person. F1 drivers have been known to be "the stig" before, as have touring car drivers. And I like Porsches too, but the only Porsches I really like now are the Carrera GT and the Gemballa Turbo Coupe (faster and nicer looking 911 Turbo). They're nice cars, but EVERYBODY has one. I see AT LEAST 15 everyday, and that is in no way an exaggeration, I probably see more. And Boxster may scream out "I CANT AFFORD A 911", but in that logic you could say a Carrera screams out "I CANT AFFORD A 911 TURBO", a 911 Turbo screams out "I CANT AFFORD A CARRERA GT" and a Carrera GT screams out "I CANT AFFORD A VEYRON". The Boxster isn't as bad of a car as everyone makes out. It may be a cheap Porsche, but it's still pretty quick, looks nice and is VERY comfortable, so does that warrant it having bad things said about it just because "it's a cheap Porsche"?
  4. Ok, it appears my comment sparked up an argument, and I no longer argue about the GT-R (the reason I haven't even bothered to dignify the "Nissan Cheats" thread with a reply) so I'm sorry, let's say no more about it.
  5. Lol, surprisingly, doesn't look too bad (got a really bad picture in my head when I saw the thread title at first), but yeah, just make the DUB badge a bit smaller and it'll look fine. Loving the taillights xD. Good luck on your exams! I have a 3 hour Resistant Materials test next week :(:(:(:(, but I'm assuming you're a few years older than me and have a lot more xD.
  6. Wow, that looks pretty nice. Looks like one of those amazing inventions that will end up being VERY expensive though, like the phone compatability with Microsoft Surface :p.
  7. *Seems to be the only one who thinks the Sierra RS500 is un-rivalled, even by the Aston* And how much did the RS500 cost? I know you can get RWD & AWD Sapphire Cosworths for about £4000, not sure about RS500s or Sierra Cosworths though...
  8. As much as I love the V-Spec too, you're absolutely right, there is no way in hell it's worth an extra $100,000. V-Specs have always been just a tiny bit more expensive than the normal Skylines; this isn't a traditional V-Spec, this is the price of a Nismo R-Tune or something. Nowone will buy one with that price tag, not even me if I was a millionaire. EDIT: And you hate the GT-R why, may I ask? Because it gave the Corvette a challenge?
  9. :eek::eek::eek::eek: You are SOOOO lucky!!!! 1995 Saab 900SE Turbo - 220hp Total & Average - 220hp :p.
  10. Yeah, I've seen happen a lot of times street racers got their cars crushed (sometimes 160hp Civics, but I've seen a 1000hp Supra and an 800hp R34 GT-R be crushed before :(.
  11. Aside from the fact is can't corner at low speeds and it's only good as a high speed track car, it was released in 2007 :p.
  12. Nice list, but come on, that Insignia CAN'T be a Vauxhall, it's wayy too nice, it looks like a new Lexus or something. And I quite liked the Alfa MiTo, and an Escalade Hybrid is a very good idea.
  13. Nope, that's the stock bodykit and hood for a Pulsar GTi-R. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c350/kendonkm/babygozilla023.jpg
  14. Wow, it just doesn't get any better with Honda/Acura, does it? Hopefully they'll surprise us with something nice soon...
  15. Yeah, it went down earlier after someone kept getting in their feed and typing stupid stuff. I've just been listening to an audio feed, whilst looking at the Gizmodo Liveblog for it, and this is the new stuff: 17" new MacBook Pro with 8 hours battery life, 9400m & 9600m GT (256mb), up to 8GB RAM, up to 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duos, new iWork, new iLife, all songs on iTunes DRM-free soon, iTunes available on 3G on iPhone 3G. We were treated to two songs sung by Tony Bennett live to end the keynote also. So that's it. No new iMac, no iPhone Nano, no new Mac Mini, no new iPhone updates, no OS X 10.6 SnowLeopard, that's about it, no surprises. The famous "one last thing" was iTunes being on 3G.
  16. Hey, let's see if... Nope, still there :p. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  17. Black & Grey R8, Grey 997 Turbo, White 911 GT3 and a Yellow Mustang GT today.
  18. Lol, quite funny. But "hotted up"? To me that looks like a bone stock Pulsar GTi-R...
  19. Burnout Paradise Very fun, especially online. No licenced vehicles, but still some great vehicles nonetheless with some great sounds (especially the motorbikes). Races are fun, some are easy, some aren't, big online community. Midnight Club: Los Angeles Some very nice vehicles, nice customization features, not much customization features, but some nice ones. Races aren't hard, but they aren't as easy as some other racing games. Cockpit view (FTW) with customizable interior (which is nice), Los Angeles has been modelled quite well into it (the places haven't been modelled VERY accurately to where they should be, and Venice Beach is non-existant in it, but nonetheless, still great) and cruising is very nice. Online community isn't that big anymore though, but online is very fun :). Need for Speed: Undercover Quite a few nice, popular vehicles, but not very well priced... The customization isn't too bad, designs on cars are quite awkward to do (which is why you'll find not many people have done very graphical designs) due to no Copy function, but it's not bad. Police are VERY stupid in it, so watch out, they are very annoying. The missions aren't bad, the story isn't that good, but it's still fun. Not played it online, so no online comment here, but it is quite fun and the graphics are pretty nice. My Choice Burnout Paradise Much better value for money, much more fun, nicer cars IMO, racing is more fun in it, and the online community is very good for it, I highly recommend it.
  20. Just had confirmation earlier today that it's nothing to due with Steve Jobs' health, he just decided to spend time with his family instead of attend Macworld this year. And his recent weight loss is nothing bad, it's just a small issue that is reversible, so he's fine :).
  21. Bah, must a thread be made every time a car emerges that is faster than the Veyron? There are tons that are faster. Yes, the Ultimate Aero SSC is, yes the 9ff is, yes the Callaway Sledgehammer is, yes the Barabus TKR is, nobody cares anymore, it's not even news.
  22. Hmmm, resolutions... 1.) Spend as little as possible and get my PC re-build done in the first half of this year 2.) Actually go into the city for the fireworks next new year's eve (I live 10 minutes away from Central London and I've never been for the fireworks) 3.) Attend every round of the EDC this year
  23. The Mercedes may have been tuned with no exterior modifications of the Merc without telling the insurance so they would think it's stock (therefore cheaper insurance), and think how much the A8 weighs compared to the Merc. On top end the A8 would have taken it but they're both limited to 155mph so I reckon it's a good match. BRING ON THE TRUMPETS!
  24. I'm not too sure a December 17th article constitutes as "really old news". And Nodz is right, and the reason the LF-A stopped production is I think Toyota realised nobody would pay Ferrari/Lamborghini money for a Toyota... None-the-less, it was still a beautiful car.
