  1. I've got a challenge for you... oh wait wrong game sorry  Launch Troy's Delivery mission (Aston Martin) and set the absolute best time you can without getting a single scratch. Post back here with screenshots of your results and the global leaderboard. The highest number of points are most important here as they combine the time and lack of car damage. MadManCK from TDU DriveTime has since retaken the lead so you're not just trying to beat me, you're restoring honor to turboduck!!! [i.e.]
  2. Smooth is my middle name, didntchaknow? :cactus: Here's some more of that tduck cruise through some pretty areas I actually feel rather bad looking back at that railway incident, at the time I was just interested to see what would happen (game physics-wise)
  3. Rule #4, don't ask if we saw the video :p Yes, I started watching it just after you posted this thread.
  4. Yes, it's something they want to do, but they said it kinda relies on finding new ways to further optimise performance, and levels of income.
  5. Missing specs? Outrage? Pandemonium? Don't :panic: The Crew Tuning Specs | Forums Funny they should mention that Raid spec Lamborghini though... :susp: Don't even... :dpi:
  6. [headline]FAQ has been updated to include information for people who are already playing the game.[/headline]
  7. It's a handy feature for getting up mountains, etc. But I was wondering how I might unlock the middle of the Midwest lakes...
  8. The driving experience is fine enough, I think it will be more dependent on the community here in organising (and showing up for) cruises and other fun made-up games similar to 7 years ago in the TDU1 PC forums - that and the connection mechanics need looking into. I haven't been able to join any friends in freeroam without first setting up a crew. Also, dealing with multiple crews would benefit from providing the user options rather than returning an error - if two players are already in separate crews, give them the option to immediately leave their crew to join the new one, or ask about merging the two if numbers permit. The devs have taken notice on the request for permanent clubs/clans though so who knows what will happen there.
  9. Sounds like you need to adjust your linearity. Also don't use cockpit view as a reference, the animations will throw you. Get it nice in bumper or hood cam, get used to it, then maybe have a go in cockpit view.
  10. Yeah same. I finished the story last night and will do the faction missions and maybe some more skill challenges to improve cars - after that the real test of the game begins - how fun is it to just cruise?
  11. Server hosted database full of extra cars/slots?
  12. Somewhat like a Jetta or A3 sedan if you will (terms of size). Looks nice enough, and you've still got a manual motorbike to look forward to.
  13. Conditions of winning these PC keys is that you have to win all the faction missions I send you on and make me loads of money. :cheeky:
  14. Do you have a microphone/headset connected to your PC? A common problem across many games is a Windows setting in conjunction with these auto speech detection services (Steam, uPlay). Jump into the Sounds control panel applet and change to this setting:
  15. I think the guy who said they were the same had tuned both cars to the max, I would also expect there to be differences leading up to that point. Also check out this important video on a way to make loads of money if you have friends (sorry Camel)
  16. Yes, that's what I've read (assuming you've tuned the Mini enough to reach the capped speed). The handling characteristics should be different though. Other specs have different top speeds on different surfaces.
  17. Maybe they'll be up in ~ 9.5 months
  18. Could be worse
  19. Yep, using 670 here. I've heard others using 540 as well. I prefer the extra rotation when I'm out of the cities on the twisty roads, although sometimes it can be a job to catch the wheel.
  20. I'm going to file that one under irrelevant given that I don't pay any attention to what parts I get - I just watch the number increase.
