  1. Yeah same. I finished the story last night and will do the faction missions and maybe some more skill challenges to improve cars - after that the real test of the game begins - how fun is it to just cruise?
  2. Somewhat like a Jetta or A3 sedan if you will (terms of size). Looks nice enough, and you've still got a manual motorbike to look forward to.
  3. Conditions of winning these PC keys is that you have to win all the faction missions I send you on and make me loads of money. :cheeky:
  4. Do you have a microphone/headset connected to your PC? A common problem across many games is a Windows setting in conjunction with these auto speech detection services (Steam, uPlay). Jump into the Sounds control panel applet and change to this setting:
  5. I think the guy who said they were the same had tuned both cars to the max, I would also expect there to be differences leading up to that point. Also check out this important video on a way to make loads of money if you have friends (sorry Camel)
  6. Yes, that's what I've read (assuming you've tuned the Mini enough to reach the capped speed). The handling characteristics should be different though. Other specs have different top speeds on different surfaces.
  7. Maybe they'll be up in ~ 9.5 months
  8. Yep, using 670 here. I've heard others using 540 as well. I prefer the extra rotation when I'm out of the cities on the twisty roads, although sometimes it can be a job to catch the wheel.
  9. I'm going to file that one under irrelevant given that I don't pay any attention to what parts I get - I just watch the number increase.
  10. Subscribe to this thread to be informed of upcoming server maintenance periods. [subhead]Tuesday, December 9th 2014[/subhead] [PC, PS4, Xbox One] In order to improve the global experience of the game and fix some technical issues, the servers will be shut down Tuesday, December 9th, at 10:00 CET (GMT+1) and should be back at 11:00 CET (GMT+1). This maintenance will apply the following fixes: • Fixed the issue which could make player temporarily lose some Awards and achievements. • Fixed the issue which could make player lose some Stats (Global Statistics). • Fixed the “Error 0_12” (Login error). • Improved the global server’s stability for all platforms. Thank you for your comprehension. 11. It does make a difference, it's just very gradual. Although I did get caught out doing a takedown mission in my streeet spec Mustang which now around Car Level 500 - it's suddenly a lot more tail happy when accelerating out of corners.
  12. Missions don't really pay much. Despite losing the medals can you continue the story where you left off? If yes I'd avoid redoing them until you get to Level 50 when you unlock the Platinum medals. One cheeky way to get away quickly in the Ford GT40 event is to go back onto the speedway track and do a few laps.
  13. The idea is that you copy the example text from that thread into the new file, test, and then tweak parameter values one at a time. <ExtraConfig FFB_Factor="1.5f" FFB_LoadFactor="1.0f" FFB_LoadPower="1.5f" FFB_LatFactor="1.0f" FFB_SlipAngleFactor="2.0f" FFB_CamberFactor="0.1f" FFB_CamberOffset="2.5f" FFB_DamperFactor="0.2f" FFB_DamperMaxRoll="1.0f" FFB_DamperMaxRollVal="0.1f" FFB_DamperMaxSlipAngle="0.25f" FFB_WaitRate="1" FFB_SpringNoControl="0.25f" /> Dev suggested tweaks for High Torque (i.e. expensive Fanatec / Thrustmaster) wheels to reduce FFB on bumpy surfaces: <ExtraConfig FFB_Factor="1.5f" FFB_LoadFactor="1.0f" FFB_LoadPower="1.0f" FFB_CamberFactor="0.1f" FFB_CamberOffset="0.5f" FFB_SlipAngleFactor="2.0f" FFB_LatFactor="2.0f" FFB_DamperFactor="0.2f" FFB_DamperMaxRoll="1.0f" FFB_DamperMaxRollVal="0.1f" FFB_DamperMaxSlipAngle="0.25f" FFB_WaitRate="5" FFB_SpringNoControl="0.25f" />
  14. Here are some extra wheel tuning suggestions from the devs for PC users: WHEEL GUIDE - Force FeedBack Extra Tuning PC Version | Forums
  15. Time to get the PC version :) Every time I've played this last week there's always been at least one or two friends on. I've also done some random co-op mission with decent guys.
  16. Best way is to get into a PvP lobby, turn off collisions (if/when you are host), and you can make 8k+ regardless of where you finish every 5 minutes. That was in the Midwest lobby, the other ones might even pay more. If that sounds a little boring, then do it with your friends/crew.
  17. Well even though I've nearly completed the story I still can't afford the LaFerrari, for example. What makes this whole situation sting even more is that once you tune a car from Full Stock to Perf or Circuit, the top speed is artificially limited. i.e. all Perf cars have the same top speed on road. So we may as well just stick with that tuned Mustang or Camaro that we purchased when we started the game.
  18. I've played for 18 hours and have 430,000 Bucks. Not purchased any cars. Have done a few faction missions and 9 PvP races. Up to Level 41. I've spent 16,000 CC on extra perks (was going to later anyway, so better to do it now while I'm still doing missions).
