  1. Maybe if a few of us get it up and running we can have a forum comp to see who can get the best Millionaire's Challenge time (with screenshot proof). Say perhaps with a yellow Lotus Esprit (Stage 3 tuning) to start off with (use the Hardcore mode glitch with No Driver aids).
  2. There's a glitch where you play in Hardcore mode, then Hit Esc and click New Game, click No, go back and all the missions show up. The H icon eventually disappears but the moon physics remain.
  3. Taking it easy but still managed to beat all the Group A cars in a Diablo in the Round the Island Tour race - finished in just over 45 minutes (fairly relaxed drive, didn't shift down a lot due to traction issues in Hardcore mode).
  4. A Circuit Spec F150 Raptor :eyebrow: And Mazda (jump to 6m 15s) CAREER SPOILER @ 4:30 Someone else can do the honors of update the OP
  5. Well the gaming centres did the work, these guys just played a video game  :jk:
  6. So Ghost, the question I was trying to ask from twitch is what is the maximum size of that crew 'list', or the 'club' if you will. Yes the actual crew tops out at 4 but if vacancies can be filled from a list then I wanted to know how big that list could be. That way we would know if we would have one or more TurboDuck crews for example (if all of us were online at the same time we'd probably have multiple anyway, but if we were on at different times then we could have one large club). i.e. for example in Forza Horizon lets say you can have 32 players in your club, even though you can only have 8 playing together at a time.
  7. You'll have to email that to Charlie and James, but even so you'd have to be a pretty big Simpsons nerd to make that connection
  8. Noticed that a while back, I think some must have lured a creeper there
  9. Played again tonight to see if I've still got it* *That is, driving talent, not photo-taking talent
  10. One cannot simply watch 10 hours of The Crew livestreaming without wanting to cruise again
  11. This guide is similar to the one written by Iced_Bullet back in 2008 but hopefully it will be easier for you to follow. [headline]What you need[/headline] * Your online TDU1 savegame folder * Hex Workshop (free download) * TDU1 installed and in working order [headline]Preparation[/headline] 1. Locate your online savegame (Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\...) folder and copy it elsewhere as a backup 2. Launch TDU1 and delete your online profile 3. In TDU1, create a new offline profile using the same player name 4. Start the new game, and complete the tutorial (buy a house & car, win the first race, drive back home, then exit your house). 5. Exit the game 6. Make a backup of your new offline savegame folder before you start editing it 1st folder: New offline profile with tutorial completed (destination savegame) 2nd folder: Backup copy of the first folder 3rd folder: Backup copy of old online profile (source savegame - doesn't show up in TDU) [headline]Conversion[/headline] 1. Open Hex Workshop, and press Ctrl+K 2. In the Source file box, select the playersave file from your backed up online profile (in the playersave folder) 3. In the Target file box, select the playersave file from your new offline profile 4. With the Resynchronizing Compare option selected, click OK 5. Click inside the left file window (where all the hex information is) to give it focus, then press Ctrl+G 6. Select Dec and From Beginning of File, then enter 50 and click Go 7. Press Ctrl+Shift+End to select everything from this point to the bottom of the file 8. Press Ctrl+C to copy the selection 9. Click inside the right file window (where all the hex information is) to give it focus, then press Ctrl+G 10. Select Dec and From Beginning of File, then enter 50 and click Go 11. Press Ctrl+Shift+End to select everything from this point to the bottom of the file 12. Press Ctrl+V to replace the selection with what you copied in step 8. Click Yes 13. Press Ctrl+S to save the target file [headline]Tidy up[/headline] 1. Copy your newly edited playersave file from the playersave folder and paste it into the playersave2 folder, overwriting the existing file therein v v v The commondt.sav file is not edited and is kept 'as is' from your new offline profile 2. From your online profile folder, you may wish to copy your Bookmarks, Photos, and Radio folders to the new offline profile folder 3. Launch TDU1 and test to see if the profile loads correctly with all of your saved progress.
  12. There's a key two posts above. It won't work until ~23rd so it'll be a race to see whoever is lucky enough to claim it I guess. You'll need uPlay installed to type it in. Then again you might be too busy to play it as well :) Look forward to cruising with you again. Just got my TDU1 online profile converted to offline again so may cruise around the island later and chuck up a video for old times sake. Gotta go find a sound mod for my Zonda! :)
  13. Forum rules do not permit the sharing of original files. You need to keep your own backups or reinstall the game if you mess up.
  14. As cocky as Niklas was he was right, you guys were insanely good and had everything worked out well in advance. All 3 of you crossing the line at the same time far ahead of the other crew really showed how well you guys did. So do all 4 of you get to go to Gamescom? Nicklas felt sure that he was going even though he didn't do any driving. Also keep an eye on my YouTube channel next week if you want to watch your races again (if you haven't already seen them).
  15. I changed my Steam avatar a while back Ozz ;)
  16. Take a trip back 5+ years (if you've been a member that long) As you can see these represent what we've seen so far in The Crew very well (and look nothing like Ibiza/TDU2)
  17. Australia has been grouped with a bunch of great teams so they're not expecting to advance far.
  18. Updates on the Rift @ E3 2014 * DevKit 2 units in production for July delivery * Order a DevKit 2 now for August delivery * Facebook acquisition allows the use of 'best in class' components without increasing the retail price * Oculus hiring staff to make their own IP (games) similar to Nintendo/Valve to make VR appealing to mass audiences. * CB1 might not be that far away (2015?) * Games need to be able to run at ~75FPS at 1440p for a recommended 'presence' experience.
  19. I had mine when the stream ended on the second day.
  20. What's on tomorrow? Log into Twitch and go to your Private Messages to get the key. I'll have the day 2 videos up early next week, still have to finish watching it and then edit it.
