Just got my TDU1 online profile converted to offline again so may cruise around the island later and chuck up a video for old times sake. Gotta go find a sound mod for my Zonda! :)

As cocky as Niklas was he was right, you guys were insanely good and had everything worked out well in advance. All 3 of you crossing the line at the same time far ahead of the other crew really showed how well you guys did. So do all 4 of you get to go to Gamescom? Nicklas felt sure that he was going even though he didn't do any driving. :lol: Also keep an eye on my YouTube channel next week if you want to watch your races again (if you haven't already seen them).

With Route 909 and E3 and now this all in the same month, I don't think my Internet quota will be able to handle streaming LeMans. :( I am interested to hear the progress of Ben Collins, Mark Webber, Oli Webb, and Rene Rast if anyone is able to post about that.

On PC, but you knew that already. From everything I've heard so far, I get the impressioned that there is no defined list/group/club of players. You just have your 'crew' which is entirely dynamic/destructible, in that anyone who you meet online can fill the vacancies to get up to 4 players (which is why I hadn't made a signup thread as such yet). The way that missions can be both single and multiplayer (and both co-op and competitive at the same time) is clever though.

Easily the R8 V10. So much easier to live with. In the Ferrari you end up driving slower than everyone because the speedo only shows 30, 60, 90, and 120kph. And there's only one line between them (which doesn't match any of our speed limits), so you just have to guess. The Ferrari gearbox was a bit smoother than the old eGear box in the Lambo but beyond that the Lambo was more refined and sounded much nicer. You could hear all the road grit in the Ferrari at a very loud level.

I drove these two yesterday. Here's the funny thing, after driving fast Audi's @ Phillip Island a few weeks ago my car felt very slow after getting back in it at the end of the day. But yesterday my car didn't really feel slow after having driven both of those cars, which was a bit strange. Obviously it is slow compared to those supercars, but interesting nonetheless. Also driving those supercars is nothing like driving a very fast 'normal' car (like an Audi). The Audi RS6 and R8 for example are basically faster versions of your average executive car, of course the experience is amazing, but they're still smooth and you could use them every day. By way of comparison, driving the (somewhat older) F430 and Series 2 Gallardo are more like driving racing cars, in that they are not really smooth or refined at all.

All the engine sounds were done by Ubi Reflections (so you'd think that they would sound like Driver SF), old content is the IP of Atari so it technically can't be recycled, plus they spent 3 years building a new game engine from scratch. Some of the places I saw yesterday were epic, just a shame that my recording was on lower quality because I was busy trying to get a beta key.
