  1. Got any bigger background images? Yes you are indeed a great listener. Or ignorer. It's hard to tell online
  2. How did you go with this one?
  3. Logged out and back in, still happening :sigh:
  4. Not what I would call "parked". I believe he is after pics where you are posing, parked on the side of a city street. You appear to have spun out in the middle of an intersection. Not sure about Milli's one as the wheels look a tad blurred (not parked) plus the barriers on the side of the road scream race track. You want something more like this Technically this is also parked in a city area but I wouldn't call it 'posing'. On the flip side, this is posing but not parked on the street so it's still borderline to me. This one is parked in the outskirts of a small city, but the camera shows rural area so again, borderline. This would be a clear pass if it were a nicer photo, the cars chosen are a tad borderline. This is just to test if you are still reading. I'll enter this pic for now In a city :nods: Side of the road :nods: Parked :nods: Officer keeping the crowds under control :nods:
  5. It's typically only on one particular home PC with Chrome v39289145093 or whatever it's up to. But as far as extensions go they're all synced on other PC's I use. I agree it's most likely an issue on my end, but it's quite interesting how it manifests itself only on this website. and it somehow garbled my last post  (which said something like "Logging out last week fixed the issues (page not found..."
  6. Even converted it to GMT for you, haha. You mean your 0th post, right? Where's @Baldy when you need him.
  7. Logging o3UÚˆr{ƒ‚kÒx²|±bÆÖÔðË¥öû9_4Q°ôÀÜFó\ïÎÕU¢=}×Ù3_28page not found, edited message too short) have again returned this morning.
  8. Yeah I remember holding off buying a rF2 license a few years ago telling myself that I'll wait for them to finish... so I've still never tried it. That said, I did purchase Automobolista (and also Stock Car) and have never once fired those sims up - partially because I've just hardly ever setup my wheel since Rocket League came out.
  9. Just realised they had that free month of access - was wondering why they carefully worded it that way. I'm sure a clever scriptkiddie like you could work it out :)
  10. every time I see WTCC in the title I forget it's a game and Andy is talking about the real thing
  11. ^Why does duckspam forget to post this in the chatbox? 12 million sales is very impressive for this genre. Congrats guys,
  12. Something must've gone wrong there... I'm sure it was Milli's entry that was supposed to win... Nice to see the results validating my reasoning for not looking to compete, nothing was going to beat that shot. Congrats Loek.
  13. You say that as if people browse this website on their Xbox. Discord can be installed on non-gaming PCs and mobile devices. RIP forum
  14. That's a very strange and non-descriptive error message. Perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling would help? Or if using Steam, right click the game and verify the cache.
  15. I have plenty of respect for all 3 titles and more besides. I've heard great things about the physics and AI of rF2. The actual development for the software as a whole however seems to be going at a snails pace, as if by the time they're ready to leave beta we might be up to DirectX 13. AC gets a whole lot immersive nuances across very nicely, but modders who have dug beneath the surface claim that while stock cars do indeed feel nice, things aren't really being simulated (or calculated, I suppose), such that the end goal is more important than the method of achievement. Which in many respects is true. It's hard to know where they'll be in a few years after selling to new owners and struggling to meet expectations for the console versions. Hopefully they have an amazing sequel in a couple of years. Project CARS is an interesting one. The WMD platform both made pC the game everyone loves to hate, but it also directed a whole lot of profit directly into the development budget for a sequel, rather than mostly being diverted to publishers. So what we have now is a development studio with good history in terms of classic sims and they also have both the ambition and financial freedom to deliver something compelling. Interestingly, many oogle over GTR2 but never much is spoken of GTR1... perhaps history will repeat? At least on PC we've never been locked to one dominant franchise, so it's a win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win-win for us :)
  16. Last week I might have agreed with you, but I did a couple of races on Monday night with the gamepad and I have to admit it really is very different, not like any sim I've played before. The RWD car I chose easily drifts and can be controlled right on the edge and a fair bit beyond. It's almost Forza-esque, but just not as crazy, and any input filtering was much more subtle. I reckon a few will be surprised this time around - I certainly was.
  17. Dev chat following that can be found here: GamesBeat Summit 2017 LIVE - YouTube
  18. So they've just put a blue tinge filter over the top and called it a day??? It still looks like a very old game  I don't mind that in itself of course, but it doesn't seem to add up to all the marketing hoo-hah but rather seems like something that should be one line of 50 in some patch notes.
  19. Interesting little story here from SMS and McLaren at some recent exhibition SMS have previously mentioned that as part of their car license negotiations, they request the time of chief test drivers from the various manufacturers to help ensure an accurate simulation, which from the video above at least, seems to be a worthwhile endeavour. What do you guys think of this - are you genuinely excited/intrigued/mildly interested or do you think it's just marketing hype?
  20. I have the right to remain silent (not vote) but one is head and shoulders above the rest - figuratively and literally - and it is the only one I'm voting for. :)
  21. No issues on this morning's catch up with new posts
