I think the game remembers your TC setting on a car-to-car basis. So the first time you drive a new car, you have to change the TC setting from 5.

Who knows - maybe GT9 will have a free-roam version of Japan included :)

:modwork: Let's try again, shall we? :) Right. The first thing you want to do is just get TDU working, before worrying about having Steam integrated. To get Steam working in TDU the first time, you had to copy certain files from the Steam installation directory to the TDU installation directory, followed by adding TDU into your Steam Library. I've found that when Steam is updated occasionally, the integration with TDU no longer works. If I copy the files from the Steam directory back to the TDU direcotry, overwriting the old ones, it usually fixes the problem, so try this out. If TDU won't play at all, try uninstalling the game, making sure the registry keys and hidden AppData files for TDU are removed, then reboot and reinstall.

Lights are great, as long as they can be easily turned off (when you're trying to sleep while downloading stuff) ;)

I'm up to Level 13, and have only ~$50g in the bank with 30 cars, and have completed the Beginner Level with all Gold trophies - not overly looking forward to starting again on the next league. I'm up to the iB license, but having only two songs alternating during loading music really gets on my nerves (I know I can turn it off altogether, but it would be nice if the menu music was also used.

You could try doing a search for XBCD drivers and installing them. The only issues I've ever had were using the left/right triggers for gas/brake - but all the other buttons worked. XBCD solved that issue, and also enabled the rumble.

Last Evo pic is to die for. If there was one car I would've bought instead of the Golf, at least based on looks, it would've been a Lancer.

Great shots (up until the GTR, anyway) :) I've over-tuned a few too many old cars that are only good for one race

If you've got the wired USB 360 controller then it'll work fine - have never tried with the wireless one but worth a Google search I guess.

Also try setting the CPU Affinty to 1 in task manager for TDU (if you are on a dual/quad-core system)

Thanks for the comments. The first BMW is obviously out of focus. I was sort-of going for the dark-sinister look with the Audi R8. Maybe I can try to scan/retype a couple of pages from the book (hopefully someone else has already done it though) :)
