  1. Yeah, because MalwareBytes is so publicised for removing those fake programs, they've tried to block it a number of times. How did it get on your computer in the first place if you are running Norton? :cheeky: Last time it tried to get on my PC through someone's USB stick, but my IS suite blocked it. Even better, it's also free - http://www.comodo.com/home/download/download.php?prod=cis I stopped using it when I first installed Windows 7 Beta nearly 2 years ago since they didn't have a Win7 version. I'm currently using MS Security Essentials, since that also works very well, and you rarely hear from it. It's much better than Norton or McAffee for protecting your computer (~90% of IT professionals also don't like those two products).
  2. Give this man a cigar for checking his own image file sizes  Nice pics as well
  3. Leme guess - it's a rouge antivirus app that says you have 118 viruses and trojans to remove, and won't touch them until you send them $50. When you do, it'll reduce the list to 0, simply because the viruses were never on your PC to begin with. It then takes over your computer and doesn't let you uninstall it and slows things right down. And it's probably called something generic like XP AntiVirus 2010. How to get rid of it. Install and run a full scan using this software: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ The trial version of this has always removed these fake antivirus apps for me (on other people's PCs).
  4. Hopefully the cuteness makes up for the quality :D
  5. People still play NFS ProStreet? :eek2:
  6. Ah yes - I've seen those houses (more-so just slabs of concrete) around Tantalus before
  7. I've crashed into many a pole - but never notice a 'housing' around the bottom of them... (The end of one of our Hot Pursuit games)
  8. If the physics are worse in TDU2 I'll keep it installed. Also will hang on to it for the Winter mod, extra cars, filming, etc
  9. mmmm my number plate would look good on the back of that :p
  10. I like the first one from that last post :)
  11. Yes - the hair test in the cabriolet was funny
  12. These forums aren't the place to discuss this, so please refrain.
  13. More interested in how close (or far) the gap is. A lot of PC gamers who only come here for mods might not even notice this thread, which is fine by me, so it could be closer than you think.
  14. Welcome to the Australian TDU forums.... At least until Europe wakes up :cheeky:
  15. Looks like a Honda at the front and a BMW at the back :) Never heard of that particular car
  16. Quick survey: Which platform have you played TDU1 on the most?
  17. The car won't be as shiny as normal if it's been driven through the mud, you realise? ;)
  18. Is that a desktop PC or a kitchen appliance on the left? :p Love the Lamborghini pic
  19. That's one groovy night-light you've got there t. :p
  20. So 92,000 to 94,000 people better have a good reason for not playing TDU still :cheeky:
  21. I have one small concern with Diablo's TDU exclusive pic of the Lancia. For such an old car - the headlights seem too strong (i.e. brand new) - they should be a bit dimmer and make it harder to see at night (unless you turn on the high beams). Re the headlights pointing down - I thought they're sposed to point downwards so that you don't blind oncoming traffic. The high beams don't point down, which enables you to see better, but blinds the oncoming cars. In new cars (particularly German ones), you can adjust the angle of the headlights to suit your environment, but the user manual warns that you should point them down a bit.
  22. I completely agree with you. iRacing is not a game, it's a simulation. Real race champions endorse it and practice with it, so if it's good enough for them, it's plenty good enough for beginners.
  23. A considerably cheaper, safer, and easier way to find out if you're any good at racing and to practice would be to get yourself a good PC, wheel/pedals/gear shifter combo and an iRacing.com subscription.
