    O'ahu is probably the better place to go offroading with all the mountains, so I'm glad they are including it again with the new graphics engine. It'll take us a while to unlock access to O'ahu, which is good. Who cares if both islands are filled with challenges and races - we'll have 3-4 years to complete them all until a new version possibly comes out. Also, if everyone who would still get use of TDU1 upgrades to TDU2, and make use of O'ahu in TDU2, then there should effectively be no more online TDU1 players, which means they can dedicate more resources to TDU2.

    Hi there. This should hopefully be pretty easy, since I'm only requesting the removal of stuff rather than designing new HUD objects. 1. Remove the H icon for Hardcore mode (like in one of Illusion's HUD mods). 2. Remove the actual GPS (the map, and surrounds). All I would like to see is the number of players that I'm connected to (that bottom bar under the GPS). The arrows that show up there when a destination is set can also stay. I like cruising around without the GPS and HUD, but like to know if I'm connected to others, and how many I'm with. Thanks.

    I am unable to get ADSL2+ with any provider (which in itself is Telstra's fault, I know they suck). Used to be with iPrimus on pretty much the same plan (only it was 1.5mbps instead of 3 (out of a possible 8), and Telstra (unbelievably) was cheaper. No matter who we go with, speed will always be a problem at this house. If I could choose, I'd go with TPG and get a 50GB (or more) ADSL2 plan.

    Either you... ... have a low Internet connection ... need to setup Port Forwarding (details are in the game manual) ... need to setup firewall exceptions on your PC ... need a new router/ISP (some don't play nice with TDU - others have confirmed this).

    Can't wait to see the videos. Some people uploaded their 10 second clips separately to YouTube which was annoying, hopefully you've got video editing software to make them into 10 minute long video montages. :)

    This may be of little help if you have already opened other ports on your router, but you can check the guides over at http://portforward.com in case they have any extra info. Otherwise check the user manual for your router. Which port are you unable to open?

    If you use an Internet Proxy on your LAN you can get insane results, as the LAN connection gets measured instead of the Internet one. I've been told that I'm downloading stuff at 10MB (not Mb) per seoncd. Which i guessing that far off your first 72Mbps reading. I average about 3Mbps, but since I've gone over my monthly limit already, my speed is... Yes, that's just over Dial-up speed - 60Kbps. My old ISP would slow us down to 128Kbps if we went over. :( Thanks goodness for Opera 10.5 and Turbo mode. ;)

    If ads reduce the cost of the game and DLCs then great, as long as... (what everyone else said). If you're on a low bandwidth connection, then the game shouldn't download new ones while cruising.

    In TDU1, you would get a notification if someone bought your car on Trade, etc. In TDU2, it would be cool if you got a notification if one of your friends or club members signed in. i.e. 'Ryzza5 is cruising in an Aston Martin DBS along the north-east coast.' You should be allowed to disable notifs in case you're filming or something.

    Leadfoot and I have often delayed our movies to improve them. I'm sure if you saw the first drafts of some of our movies you'd agree with us. Who knows, they might be adding new cars, locations, game features to the trailer now (we'll never know I guess), but we might as well hang tight.

    For those who say that more 'normal' cars are not welcome in TDU2, I'd also like to add that this is a driving game, not a racing game, which the title makes pretty clear. As Jeremy Clarkson has pointed out, you don't need an expensive supercar to have fun while driving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv2rdwrRJjk The narrow roads in Ibiza would suit hot hatchbacks and similar cars really well.

    Others have raised the same concerns in the the official forums. If it was a typo, I'm sure the devs would have fixed it by now (I'm sure everything they have posted has gone through some sort of screening process). Those who wrote the magazine articles would've only had access to to a small portion of the game. The developers are obviously the people to believe in the case of conflicting information.

    You could fly westwards around earth at supersonic speeds like Superman to make time go backwards until you get to the time before you installed the Winter mod... Then again, reinstalling TDU is probably a bit easier :) Keep backups next time ;)
