  1. Roaming around the docklands at lunch. Quickly taken on my Samsung Galaxy S2 - Google compresses them when I upload to Picasa.
  2. The theme is Autumn (and sky), but it's Spring here :fp:
  3. Don't worry about the guys in the southern hemisphere :fp: :p
  4. I like it except for the following: * Takes a while to install * Takes a while to configure controls to liking * Can never get good graphics AND good FPS despite having a good PC (if anyone has recommended settings or a mod please do share) :) * Can't figure out where the game saves what missions you've completed.
  5. Some more posts I've come across today: Atm there's a big discussion regarding whether or not pCARS (Project CARS) should include some sort of Track Editor (ala Trackmania/ModNations) or Generator (ala Gran Turismo 5). Some only want official tracks for hardcore sim racing and less disbursement between online players regarding track options), whereas others want the community to be able to create and share tracks to increase the game's replay value, and to create awesome twisty P2P or rally tracks. I'm in the latter camp, but am trying to provide ideas that give players incentives to race official tracks often and use the editor for a break, while at the same time trying to make an editor sound feasible.
  6. Now this is what you might call exciting: RBR of course is Richard Burns Rally, very old but undisputedly the best rally sim available.
  7. Tried the PSX version today and had a go on two tracks. Driving is not stupidly arcade, not proper sim, but not too bad. Let's just say you probably won't win your first race, esp if you pick one of the harder tracks :) The crash sound effects when I under-steered, hit the barrier and rolled over were pretty cool. If you try and use the handbrake in bumper cam, the camera pulls back to 3rd person (or vehicle) view. Drifting (if successful) will slow you down though, but the brakes seem very slow to work (or they don't work when you're trying to steer). If you can get ePSXe (Ehanced PSX Emulator) and the CD it'll probably be easier to get working compared to the PC version for this particular title. My first attempt at the first track in a Supra.
  8. I saw that too, but I never go for the Zinger versions - too hot'n'spicy :panic: Can you make this = :idunno:
  9. Well there were two reasons for my first guess: 1) It looks like a tower burger, and 2) it "returned" in 2010 for a limited time. So he had been....... away? MIA?
  10. Oh yeah, coz the Australian should know what it is
  11. Is that supposed to be the KFC Tower Burger or some Scottish/UK burger?
  12. Or just an opportunity to return :cheeky:
  13. Half-decent? :oook: That's not what I remember reading when the game first game out
  14. Right now, in a pub not too far away, James May shudders for some unknown reason. :p
  15. awww, that sucks - I was hoping to see what it looks like :cheeky:
  16. Yeah I remember you said you would do that too, but this was very early in the year.
  17. I'm not worried about the avatar reset (as you can see mine took ages to perfect), but everything else that will probably go wrong along with it
  18. Looks a lot like last year's update to the very old Race 07 :)
  19. It will be on all major consoles so I would imagine so, but then there are micro-transactions as well (i.e. 50c for a car, $5 for a track, or something like that - the fees are VERY reasonable/small). But the game is also coming to consoles, so I'm not sure how that'll work. See this PDF for more info: WMD CARS Overview (9.4MB)
