  1. They're for proper weight distribution :nods:
  2. He would've had to say "Good news!". "Great news!" is Futurama :nnnn:
  3. What do you classify as hardcore though? I built my PC in May 2008 and upgraded my graphics card in March 2010. I would've spent at least $3500 on it, but today you could build something similar for a quarter of the price, and both would play new games with ease. If PC gaming is on the way out, then they need to make sure the next-gen consoles include those PC benefits. You might see more hardware makers sponsoring games so that they don't lose sales of hardcore PC components. Think of the games that have an intro movie for nVidia, AMD, or Intel.
  4. The cars are already in the game, you just unlock them when you buy the dlc.
  5. If you can't get a powerful car, get a light car (hatchback, etc) - can be very fun still.
  6. What the heck is a Lolvo? Nice decent car - don't see many of them here. Why was the bonnet up though? - no problems I hope
  7. Am I looking at an in-game function, a dev tool, or a mod? It's been so long since I used the CRC (only once as well, let alone play TDU2.
  8. You could try TDU2 on the Windows firewall or the game ports on the router's firewall, but this would affect all TDU2 profiles.
  9. I can't believe you lot actually made a deal with the devil (Diablo)
  10. I just had an idea. Before each round you generate a random number and PM the result to someone who doesn't have the game. Then everyone tries to set their best time as per usual, but if your random number was 3, then 3rd place wins a prize. Or Post a time that everyone can beat, but the person who gets the closest time wins a prize. Or Interview one member per week and give them 5 practice laps and time their 6th lap, and post the interview and replay here. To prevent them using an old well practiced replay, pick a car colour for them to use at the last minute. I never said they were good ideas ;)
  11. Dark blueish black colour; I don't recall the plates, probably were those euro style ones. Was a good 45kms out of the city though (S.E. suburbs)
  12. Hehe, back when devs didn't even worry about video quality, let alone graphics quality (most likely due to limited space on CD, PC HDDs, and slow CPUs to decode the video) :)
  13. Yeah, we knew it was a joke, but it was still nothing short of deserved. You might want to get in contact with Humgoo as he said he donated here as a result of TDU2's binning.
  14. I saw a Ferrari F458 today, well actually I raced for 20m off the lights until we caught up to the car infront. I couldn't give it the full beans because the intersection is very bumpy (ends up in axel tramp). I obviously didn't intend to beat him, but I just wanted to make him rev his engine :cheeese: which, y'know, sounded alright, I guess. :p Those things look wider in real life too btw.
  15. lol, no - let's try this again. The pic is from the VW forum that I sometimes visit. The guy who owns the GTI posted the pic, he was visiting his friend, who own's the R and the Ferrari. ;)
  16. The GTI is a friend's, I believe the idea is to say 'Too Slow' to the person he bet when racing from the lights ;)
  17. If it suits my timezone (after 8pm GMT+10) and I don't have to spend ages tuning then I'd be interested, would prefer a friendly quick get up'n'go race tournament than a full-blown series with loads of restrictions (host can set the basic ones on the day). Mix things up to keep it interesting, last thing I want to do is commit to one car. :)
  18. Then everyone else would give up and the game would end, pretty much like the GT5 one did :p
  19. This is actually my phone ringtone :D NFS2SE also had a great . Other good soundtracks that I like would inlude NFS HP2, Split Second wasn't too bad (a bit repetative though), FIFA 2003 had a decent selection of songs (not that I'd heard any of them before), and GT5 is good (yet to record those soundtracks - I did it once but had the output set to mono :fp:)
  20. We tried once but the hobos got angry with us  No offence to any hobos
  21. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Don't forget to look in the garage
  22. I hope Diablo leaves this in the bin where it belongs
