  1. The buddylist file isn't important - your list of friends is on teh GameSpy servers - so you just need to use the same account name and email address. As for missing content, do you need to reinstall the megapack or 1.66a patch?
  2. Yes, but if I spent $700 on a something, I'd kinda expect it to work the first time. :p If a lot of them a DOA, it doesn't inspire much confidence for when the products warranty runs out. It's not like I can quickly drive back to a shop to replace it either.
  3. Seriously, how many wheels out there are more than £500 anyway? ;) If you've got that much to spend on a wheel fantastic wheel, then your two main choices are the Fanatec GT2 Clubsport pack or the new Thurstmaster T500R wheel (which doesn't have a shifter yet... (but has a clutch pedal). From what I've heard, the T500 is a better wheel, but more expensive, quite large/heavy, and doesn't have X360 support (compared to the GT2). It also doesn't support older PS3 games, but works fine with GT5 and PC games. I've heard more than a few problems regarding Fanatec wheel reliability as well, though. While they are helpful in providing support, they can take a while due to it being a much smaller company than Logitech. I have the G25, and am waiting for the next batch of wheels before I seriously think about upgrading. I hope your not getting a new wheel just for TDU2 though - you'll want a few properly good racing titles (with sim-ish physics) to fully enjoy it.
  4. Why does your side mirror have a massive hole in it?
  5. Have never been on snow :) Well once ages ago, but it was mostly just ice. Was that you or someone else at the snow on your recent YT rvideo?
  6. Mt. Buller. Drove there for the sake of driving there a few months back.
  7. Will pick it up today, but it will have to wait until tomorrow after work before I play it.
  8. :hmmm: - Something small - Something old - Something classic - Something red - Something moderately quick but not super fast I'll let you work out what fits those criteria :cheeky:
  9. I'm not surprised that the scene was fake, but I'm sure most non-billionaire's considering to buy this car would do enough research to find out it's range and recharge times before looking for another car. :) The Angelina Jolie comment is funny though
  10. Cool - your car should feel a fair bit 'zippier' now with those new parts :)
  11. Is that the same James that I stayed with in London? :umm: I'm fairly certain he wasn't a wasp though :p
  12. I thought it wasn't out until Thursday :hmmm:
  13. *pokes Diablo* Will you go visit Sponge and adjust his monitor for him? :p
  14. That can't be good for your eyes (which are supposed to be level with the top of the screen)
  15. He said BENEFITS
  16. The 'Speshul' thread is here. hmmm, I seem to have left that duck in there. Oh well  Off the top of my head, the other benefits are: No ads (site loads quicker) Larger PM inbox Slightly larger avatar image Speshul badge on the left and posts have a gradient background up top to make them stand out Access to 'The Green Room' - a hidden subforum here only available to the supporters Being able to rest easy in knowing that Diablo can still afford to buy coffee (you DON'T want to be around if he hasn't had his morning coffee) :hide: If you can think of other cool benefits for Speshul members, Diablo's usually open to repeated harassment until we get what we want suggestions :p I'm sure the senior staff will think of a few other reasons.
  17. You can also edit the Bookmarks text file in your profile folder (My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\you\bookmarks) if you know (or are willing to guess) the co-ordinates.
  18. The question is will he need a new PSU or can he get away with a $5 power splitter/adapter (depending on how many Watts the current PSU is).
