  2. I also have FRAPS (the full version) and a pretty decent computer (look at my specs). So in case you need some filming done with another camera man, I could help out. I don't have any good editing software, so I could just send the files to you.
  3. I would love to participate in this somehow. I always wanted to do a Top Gear episode with TDU, so I would love to get involved in this one, even if it's just a minor role. I really only can play on the weekends. I live in California, which is 8 hours behind London. That gives you an idea of time difference.
  4. Is this happening on the third or fourth? I can't make it on the third, unfortunately... But you guys have a TeamSpeak server?
  5. Lolz at the Ferrari Pit Crew. Hamilton secures a bigger lead, McLaren is back on top, Ferrari got pwned, and it was an amazing race in general. What more could I ask for? Actually, there is one thing: More night races!!!
  6. A race that did not disappoint. Congrats to Vettel and Toro Rosso for maiden victories. Congrats to Heikki and Kubica for another podium finish. Lewis Hamilton did some fantastic driving skills, and had he changed for intermediates earlier, I am sure he would have been on that podium. Congrats to every driver for not making a safety car come out. And on top of all that, it was just one helluva race. So much overtaking. It's really fun to watch a race like that.
  7. The FIA is ruining the sport. Hamilton CLEARLY let Kimi back in, and he was no closer than he was before the chicane. At that point, Lewis simply used superior car control to get pass Kimi, and Kimi was too aggressive and spun. This 25 second penalty is crap. It was a good race, and they ruined it. And Massa with the win? He was what, 8 seconds behind Lewis at that chicane when the incident occured?
  8. Only $10,000? Geez, didn't Lewis get fined $5000 for being 2 minutes late to the driver's meeting? The pace of the Ferrari car is...surprising. Unfortunately, it makes the race quite dull. I nearly fell asleep watching Hungary, and same for Valencia. There wasn't any fight for first because Massa was just so far ahead. But Ferrari drama in the pit lane kept things mildy interesting. I don't know why they just don't go back to the good ol' lollipop man. That's a time tested technique. And even if this new system saves .2 seconds, is it really worth putting your pit crew and car in danger?
  9. Sure, I'll go. I'll come in a Gallardo Spyder.
  10. I think he has amazing potential. David Coulthard said that he thinks Vettel has all the makings of a future F1 driver. And I'm gonna have to agree with him. He is young, and has a lot of years ahead of him.
  11. I have a lot of cars. Don't want to list them all.
  12. I didn't watch the race all the way through, as it seemed a bit boring to me. But I'm glad Heikki won, and he is confirmed at Lewis' teammate for 2009. Massa's engine failure and Heikki's win are proof of one thing: God is a McLaren fan :)
  13. Ford Crown Victorias driven by the Los Angeles Police Department. The thing and actually go pretty damn fast, since they strip out a lot of the components, and I think they put a bigger engine in it. They now all have ram-bars in the front and armor protection. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h30/skimboarderRCT/2218783809_836bac3944.jpg New York has Chargers: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h30/skimboarderRCT/21carsxlarge1.jpg

  15. I haven't heard of any injuries. Some minor building damage in some areas. It was definitely a strong quake. I was like "Please don't be the big one!".
  16. Vantage? Oh, how boring :) Ya, there was a crap load of Porsches.
  17. Magnitude 5.8 earthquake just hit Los Angeles. Moderately strong rolling quake. Fortunately, I'm fine, and I have not heard of any injuries. Since I have lived in Los Angeles my whole life, I am pretty use to earthquakes. But this one was pretty big. So, has anyone else here felt an earthquake? Oh, and if you are wondering about the title. A girl in my class started crying and yelled that when the quake hit.
  18. Darn! You guys already posted what I saw too! Anyone know what that yellow car is (not model. Whether it is a racing car or not)? I think that is an Audi R8. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h30/skimboarderRCT/webcam1.jpg Aston Martin DBS? http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h30/skimboarderRCT/webcam2.jpg Porsche Carrera GT? http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h30/skimboarderRCT/webcam3.jpg
  19. We should be called the "Ring Watchers". It's rainy right now. Hoping to catch a good car soon. But I'm leaving in an hour for Huntington Beach, to watch the U.S. Open of Surfing!
  20. Ok, I will. I'm at camp now, and I get back on August 2. It should definitely be in by then. My motherboard should be in by then as well, so I will have to rebuild my computer first. I'll probably be a noob...
