Hockenheim Historics 2012 ^Click The Images For Higher Res^ Message From The Team "...After the Le Mans Classic, we took the Lotus Eleven back home to give it a once over. We found a few problems with the drivetrain, so that needed repairing. When the car got a clean bill of health we repainted it and shipped it to Hockenheim, Germany for the "Hockenheim Historics" event. All went well at the event, with us getting some nice running and a trophy for best 1950's car. No problems were reported during the races which is always nice. The German fellow who bought our Chevrolet Nova also appeared. By the sounds of it, the car has been upgraded a bit since we had it. But not everything was smooth for him...

Lotus Eleven @ Le Mans Classic 2012 ^Click The Images For Higher Res^ Message From The Team "...After a sabbatical, we decided that out next big event would be the Lengendary "Le Mans Classic" event at Le Mans. After selling the Chevrolet to a gentleman in Germany, we sourced a Lotus Eleven in need to restoration. Afer fixing all the bodywork, we found the original Coventry Climax engine was beyond repair. It took us a while to find a new engine, but we found one. So instead to the original 1098cc Climax FWA engine it now has a 1500cc Climax FWB, producing around 110hp. As soon as we finished, we took the car to a special Masters Historic Series press day at Silverstone, 5 days later we shipped the car to Le Mans for the classic event. As we mainly race in the Masters Historic series, we have a more permanent sticker, it's easier to tape over the sticker for different events. A return for the Historc Race Team!
