  1. Lee isn't part of Eden, right? He's Atari-assigned. I'll bet the Eden crew love seeing his tweets about free vacations in Dubai... -Leadfoo
  2. Good on ya', Eden! :) I think it's pretty clear that Atari is just fading as a distributor. Their games come and go quietly, and they spent too much money on quiet games. I'll admit I'm not an expert on Eden or Atari's strategy, but I see the publisher's move as just another step in a long-running restriction on Eden. Even a symbolic strike may hurt the negotiations, but I say go for it. It'll at least get the internet on your side. :) -Leadfoot
  3. Here's the most recent of my Jet favorites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZbrva6On3I -Leadfoot
  4. Voted Paradox. Daniel was a close second, though. :) -Leadfoot
  5. Voted TDU 505, but it was close between him, Superhyper, SB, and :). -Leadfoot
  6. IDEA, Koenigesgg... Yeah, I see what you did there. :) Brilliant as always. -Leadfoot
  7. E24 M635 CSi (M6). And I tore up my bike's crank trying to change a pedal, so there goes my idiotic theory of buying/restoring on of those things. -Leadfoot
  8. This is the equivalent of that kid who puts a Skyline bodykit on his Sentra. C'mon, at least widen your front track to match the Challenge bumper! Amazing finds, J. :) Clear, legible pics, too. Great thread in general. I can't believe I haven't seen it before. -Leadfoot
  9. Sound mods are one of the reasons I still use this game, too. Luckily, there's plenty more where it came from. :) Enjoy the TDUCk! :hi: -Leadfoot
  10. Haha! A Gillet! :D At least there's a chance the "fake" GTO might still be a manual (the "standard" 599s still had them). :) Also, it seems that in Monaco, even Smarts are flashy. :p The glass engine box in that 500 is pretty sweet, too. Come to think of it, every picture contains something amazing. :p Almost forgot - is this a Marcos? Or what? -Leadfoot
  11. Bolt-on widebody 240s are awesome. :) Was this one a V8 swap (or did it have any engine mods)? Some very lucky sightings there, especially the Mustangs. :) -Leadfoot
  12. It looks like a shark! Sweet! :D -Leadfoot
  13. This one. It's real. There's no way that came from a game. -Leadfoot
  14. That's insane! And it's all within the in-game vinyl system? -Leadfoot
  15. I love the lighting and composition in all of them. This one is especially cool. :) -Leadfoot
  16. That's Shmee's, right? Also, who is Shmee? :p -Leadfoot
  17. I haven't uninstalled it, I just don't play it. There's hardly time for anything right about now (amazing how productive I've gotten with PSN down :p ), but TDU2 is certainly near the bottom of my list of things to play. Speaking of which, I need to go film some TDU1 stuff for a school project. And while I'm at it, I may just have a blast in a Ducati with the xBox controller... ;) -Leadfoot
  18. It's a slammed E28 5-series. :) Judging by the Army-green bumper and missing headlight, it's the 5'er that eventually became Rusty Slammington. It's owned by Mike Burroughs, and is (in that shot) running HREs. This car: Chopped to this: And now, sadly, burned. :( Such a shame. Take a look at the build thread by clicking here (over 250 pictures). It's a sight to behold. Some of the stages are better than others, but the work for every one is just breathtaking. Everyone should read it. /Yes, I've read the whole thing. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  19. Looks good, especially considering the it's the standard TDU Z06. :) How'd you get camber, though? I need that in my virtual TDU life. :D -Leadfoot
  20. You guys are terrible. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  21. Rusty! :D That's correct, unfortunately. But the guy who built it, Mike Burroughs, has some other insane projects (and just got another E28). ;) -Leadfoot
  22. Voted Austin. I recall reminding myself to vote for that picture since it first appeared in his photothread. :) All amazing entries this week. Milli's is a close second for me, with Ace's third. -Leadfoot
  23. You know, it's not that bad around where I live. Not like most of you guys, but pretty nice all the same. :) Here's the list from a rainy Thursday: Panamera Turbo Maserati Quattroporte Canadian-market (?) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 wagon. Cool stuff! :D -Leadfoot
  24. It's unlikely that this path would be appealing to Atari/Eden (ie, it would stop the flow of DLC), because part of the thrill of DLC is that you are being told through the advertising (trailers, YouTube videos, screenshots, etc.) that this car (or map, for other games) is vital to your happiness with the game - that it wouldn't be complete without it. If players had a test drive of the car, they'd realize that it's just a car, and that it's a lot like the 80 others in the game. If it's a new game mode, this strategy would work. But for car-based DLC, it would be a very poor move for Atari (and hurt us, in turn, by slowing/halting the flow of new content). Admittedly, some players would probably download the pack from the jealousy of seeing other players with the cars, but the majority would realize it's not worth their five bucks and walk away. :( -Leadfoot
