  1. Gunned_Down, nice subtle modding with the NSX. :) -Leadfoot
  2. I agree; this would be fantastic. :) Someone's working on it, but they say its a big task and that its not going to be done until probably December. Here's some of their posts: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=3574&page=17 He's got the flying leaves swapped for snowflakes, grass and trees switched to white, roads re-textured with snow covering, and increased fog, as well as some other stuff. :) I guess we'll have to wait, but it will be awesome when it comes out. :) -Leadfoot
  3. Do you have any 3D modelling experience? Otherwise, you'll soon realize that the small slope you face as a converter is actually Mount Everest. :cheeky: Good luck, though - and remember that it is hard, so don't give up. :) -Leadfoot
  4. Impressive mod - I'll definitely use it for a movie plan I have. :) -Leadfoot
  5. Hmm... It says its a write-off here, but on that .pdf Baldred posted in the chatbox (another Atari 2009/2010 report) it says that such-and-such funding was lost that affects a few projects being worked on in 2009 or being released in 2010, and it included Alone in the Dark, some other ones, and Test Drive Unlimited 2. If I can find the thing again, I'll post a pic... The plot thickens... ;) -Leadfoot
  6. This is my go-to spot - thousands of mods. :) http://www.simviation.com/simviation/index.php -Leadfoot
  7. Go to "Original Names" and switch back to "Modded Names." Then it'll be with the other Zondas. :) Nice work as always, Tool. Will try soon. :) -Leadfoot
  8. Yeah, you can vote for your own mods, just so long as you believe and explain why it really was the best - which you did do. :) (and yes, awesome interior :) ) The Reventon was November, sorry. It'll be on next month, though. -Leadfoot
  9. Go to the "Game Controllers" page under the Control Panel, find the G25 and click "Properties." Then click "Settings," and uncheck "Combined (single axis - used for most games)" Click close, and now you can press the brake and gas at the same time and they'll respond differently. You may need to re-assign the pedals in-game. Once in game, press the clutch, build the revs, press the brake a little, and release the clutch. You can experiment with how much brake/gas you need. :) -Leadfoot
  10. This was inspired by a Racer Free Car Simulation monthly contest of the same name, where the cars made that month would be mentioned here and the community could vote on them. Seeing as October was a particularly interesting month, with the introduction of Shift mods and 2CV SUPER GT's landmark Bugatti Type 57, I figured it'd be a good time to start it. So, without further ado, the contenders (please inform me if I forgot a car from October): TDUZoqqer: Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Grin116: BMW M3 E36 StarLeyGT: Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 GT-S 2CV SUPER GT: Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Tool831: Lexus LF-A Deloreon/StarLeyGT (?): Rolls-Royce Phantom Tool831: Nissan GT-R and GT-R Spec. V Grin116: Lada 112 _______________ Please, be considerate and think about your choice. This contest is to decide the best mod over the past month, not your favorite car, not which one you think looks cool. Beyond that, you can pick whatever one you feel is best, be that most detailed, most realistic, most impressive, least buggy, most accurate physics-wise (if applicable). This applies to you, too, modders. You can vote, but make sure it really is what you think the best car is. Feel free to include a reason or two why you choose that car when/if you post. Happy voting! :) Pole closes in two weeks. Perhaps there will be some sort of prize, but I'll wait to see what your reaction is to the concept. EDIT 11-24-09: The winning car is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4! Congratulations Tool831! -Leadfoot
  11. And not too much dark-dash/reflective-dash problems. :) Very nice job with this one! (Well, all ones, but this one especially!) -Leadfoot
  12. I see. Well, good luck with it. :) Take your time, then; glad its not stopped. :) -Leadfoot
  13. I highly doubt it was supposed to have one thread; the popularity of WR2 probably declined with the arrival of a certain game called Test Drive Unlimited. ;) -Leadfoot
  14. Any chance of a release as-is? :) -Leadfoot
  15. Nice mod! :) Not a particularly nice car, but you did well making it/converting it. -Leadfoot
  16. They were probably DLCs or bought from the store. Or maybe they were unlockable "prize" cars. Not familiar with FM3 either :cheeky: , but that seems to be what's going on with those cars. :) -Leadfoot
  17. Helpful. :) Can't wait! -Leadfoot
  18. There's nothing "wrong" with the Shift shot. :) It's the Grand Sport stripes; you should have asked what was "awesome" about the pic, not what's "wrong." :cheeky: j/k :) Nice pics! -Leadfoot
  19. LOL. :) [Do My Bidding] would also be another good one. As would [Obey Me] and [better Mod Than Yours]. This should be a sport! :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  20. I know, I was just saying that he could take inspiration/build small parts based off the FM3 model. I know my way around the possibilities of converting/modding games. :) Now let's stop this discussion before someone with a blue name yells at us. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  21. FM3 has a DBS; and since he speaks so highly of it, I figured he might be able to use FM3 as a reference and piece together bits on this DB9. EDIT: Read above post. :( Maybe Shift'll get a DLC pack with, say, the ZR1 and DBS. :) Can't wait for DB9. :) -Leadfoot
  22. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT ("Wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowo Loot") :cheeky: Thank you so much! Not a request, but are you doing a modified version of this as a DBS? Just wondering... -Leadfoot
  23. Just... Yes! :) -Leadfoot
  24. Skyline R34? -Leadfoot
  25. Tdu66 and I took some M3 GT2 pics today. :) -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -Leadfoot
