  1. You have the internet in Australia? Wow you're almost civilized now!
  2. ^^ Great photos, fallingdown! I love the scenery one. Three good (and there weren't many of them) photos from my day in London with TSS.
  3. Rules Moisture Pictures! No Voting For Yourself! 4. @DS: And the fact that the clock is a good 5 miles or so away from the actual time centre, Greenwich.
  5. I don't know where you're from, but in the UK we have to have car insurance by law. And an old, run down car will probably cost more to insure than a brand new one.
  6. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thescottishspotter/ His flickr account. He just tried to call me, but we get horrible reception here, so the connection was atrocious. I sent him a text, but I don't know what he wanted to say.
  7. The above comment made me laugh.
  8. Makes me think of Citroen first.
  9. Asking me to choose my favourite TopGear moment would be like asking me to choose my favourite Muse song. They're all just too good. Put it this way; I have every episode of new TopGear downloaded, so I can watch them in TV quality whenever I want. I also have the entire first series of TG AUS, all the specials like Top Gear Of The Pops, and the Polar Special in 1080p. My entire TopGear folder comes to just short of 60GB.
  10. Messy, I know, but I can't be bothered to do anything more to it. The Jazz-van! Lengthened wheelbase, raised roof and van conversion. Thats it :p
  11. Highline told me to post in here - so I will. Buster -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Bella -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Note they are pictures of pictures. They both died long ago. Bella was very shy, and Buster was just awesome. They both died before 2002, but I don't remember when exactly. Bella was hit by a car a couple of years before Buster died of Leukemia at an old age. I would love to get more cats, and hope to when I settle down later in life. I can't get more now as my parents can't afford to keep them, and I'll be going off to Uni in just a year. I thought I'd lighten up the thread a bit.
  12. A pretty crappy panorama HDR I did of the view from the front of our house. Click for bigger.
  13. A definition from an online dictionary [of 'driven']: " Powered, operated, or controlled" At no point is a co-driver operating or controlling the vehicle, except in special circumstances. Sitting in the passenger seat, you are not operating any form of controlling mechanism to dictate the velocity of the vehicle. And I don't know about anywhere else, but I certainly would never, ever say that the co-driver is driving the vehicle. The most they can do to dictate the direction of the vehicle is to tell the driver where to go, which is not directly having any effect on the velocity of the vehicle in any way. I didn't post about the Dodge Viper, Ferrari 360 or Morgan Aero 8, because I wasn't driving them. If you want to post about what cars you have been driven in, fine, but this isn't the right thread to do it in.
  14. Haha. I'm sorry, but this kind of stuff actually makes me laugh. Whenever I look out the window and see our car, whenever I see the front of our house, whenever I see a couple, whenever I see my own and other people's photographs, whenever I see someone going out for a run, whenever I look in a mirror; whenever I see just about anything, a little part of me dies inside. And there isn't much left in there. The only thing that makes me happy is my mates, and Uni isn't far off.
  15. w/ your above post. Quick question: Do you understand the meaning of the word 'driven'?
  16. I'm a failure at life. I do no sport, I don't have access to anything worth any remote amount of money, and the only thing I can say I am remotely good at is photography and image editing, which isn't exactly the most ravaging of pastimes. I am horribly unsociable and cannot make new friends or speak to most of the ones I supposedly have.
  17. Happy Birthday Jørgen!! Enjoy being 16 - it could have served me better. :birthday::birthday:
  18. Our comedy. It is simply the best in the world. Add to that British cars - sure they may not be made with British money any more, or even in Britain, but its the designs and what they stand for that still sticks around. And lastly, but most importantly, the greatest export in the planet's history - the English language. Think about how many people can speak English around the world - and they say Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world? Pah!
  19. Yeah it is technically illegal, but loads of people have different fonts. Usually the police won't stop you for it (it can sometimes help in identifying a car), but they possibly will tell you to change it if stopped for something else.
  20. A couple more I took yesterday.
  21. After my last driving lesson, I have changed my mind. I no longer think that the new Fiesta is the best car I've driven. I think the Kangoo is. After driving the Fiesta again (I hadn't for 2 weeks), my opinion is now; it is easy to drive, but not as fun as the Kangoo. The controls are very very light, especially the steering, and the clutch gives very little feel. Whereas the Kangoo has some weight to it, and much more feel through the clutch.
  22. My entry: Just 3 days left people! More entries are more than welcome - get shooting (photos).
  23. ^ I'll help you get whatever is left, but the camera's mine.
  24. ^ The last red car my parents had was back in 2002... What made you think it was red? Yeah, but remember here in the UK we get raped by the insurance. Insuring me, a new driver, on something like that would cost too much.
  25. ^^^^ Brilliant clip the Fiesta one. But I've changed my opinion on the car itself. Its easy to drive, but not that fun.
