Already had something to do Sunday evening even though I didn't want to do it but I think I'll cancel my pre-arranged plans for this. Don't know why I didn't think of this before because I've known about the new series and when it starts for ages.

I've already got everything I'd want to buy apart from a few games which are in packs of games which I already have so I don't think I'll be buying anything from this sale.

Don't really know what people expect a ten year old driving game to be besides linear. It's hardly fair comparing it to a game which still hasn't been released ten years later, and it's also silly thinking that a new version of the ten year old game is going be exactly the same. It's still early days for both Driver: San Francisco and Test Drive Unlimited 2 in my opinion. They're also aimed at slightly different market sectors, too. So it's completely pointless trying to compare the two. My Audi Q7 comment on the previous page was a sarcastic comment. Although I'll be driving the Q7 more than the Veyron myself anyway. I'll be using it in the same way I used the Audi A6 in Test Drive Unlimited, actually using it to cruise from challenge to challenge instead of teleporting. Mega-mileage time.

Whenever my employer decides to pay me I think I'll be getting a Q9550 and an ATI HD 5850. They should suffice for this game anyway.

Isn't much of a shock to be honest, neither do I really care. As long as RUFs are in at least you still get something as close as mechanically/physically possible to a Porsche. I liked the RUF RTurbo in the original Test Drive Unlimited, for me it was a crazily good drifting machine.

I'm loving all of the Alfa Romeo 8Cs and MiTos. Infact, all of the licenced cars. It's looking good so far.

My Audi Q7 will run endless rings around this mere shopping car.

Indicating was automatic as you turned on the original, on the PC anyway. Apart from speeding I've not commited any offences (in the eyes of the law) on the original, I think I've been lucky enough to not be around a cop car when running red lights, etc. Cops have been hilarious for me. No matter how far behind me they are they always seem to be lined up with the rear of my car so it's easy to get them to crash into the AI traffic and for me to "lose the tail, man!".

Ferrari California Spyder in black, driven by a guy wearing a base-ball cap with 2 young children in the back. He put his foot down, kids in the back looked happy. New shape Porsche Cayenne. I mistook it for a Ford at first and I have no idea how, I was looking at it from behind, though. Audi TT-S. Jaguar XK-R. Porsche Carrera S. Porsche 911 Turbo. Teggy Type R. Caterham 7.

A Skoda Octavia Scout would be pretty interesting. It would combine the estate and SUV categories into one. I did mention Skodas really early on in this thread, but the Fabia VRS and Octavia VRS. But that was a sarcastic suggestion although I'd love it if they were included. Although, I can't help but think they'd use the 2010 Fabia VRS instead, which I don't like. Game needs MOAR DIESEL TORKZ, y0.

How very strange. I just finished doing a run-through of the original game on the PC and now a new version is announced. Yet another game added to my "Need to get" list this year.

I might go.. Next year. But I'll turn it into a road-trip and take my car down. Two or three hours each way. Hurrr durrr. Might as well make a weekend break out of it and pay a proper visit to the Isle of Wight if I book a caravan or something.

Impressed by both GT5 and Hot Pursuit. Do want.

I don't really have a game for this apart from FSX which Reaper has already posted an awesome entry of, I think I'll just choose a Far Cry 2 screenshot to entry later on.

This I like the look of. Shame I want to spend my money on upgrading my computer instead.

Well, from that viewpoint 50% of the images posted in this thread are invalid then. As are track photos, and no, just because a racing track uses tarmac doesn't make it a road.

Saw some nice cars today. Although I cheated and went to a motor-show. All is not lost, though.
