  1. My mum has a small LCD TV in her kitchen for when she's not allowed to watch Eastenders on the living room TV. Other than that, it's a TV in the living room and maybe one in each bedroom (albeit smaller TVs) depending on the house. Bought these yesterday, only went to put on the ones I bought last time on a couple of weeks ago to find out I'd ordered the wrong sort of pad (there's quite a few for some reason). So they're going on at the weekend before my old ones completely let go, they squeak like mad (basically down to bare metal) at the moment and are badly warped, don't trust them to stop me anymore :p http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/IMG_0601.jpg Also bought these a week ago, but I never go round to taking a photo (spot the album title fail, but it's a good album): http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/IMG_0604.jpg
  2. Only interested in the following at the moment: Alan Wake (Always wanted it for the Xbox 360, but then my Xbox decided to give itself the RROD) C.A.R.S. Far Cry 3 (Haven't really been following it, but the gameplay footage looks interesting) Grand Theft Auto V (Not that I can see it being released this year, but I'm happy to be proved wrong) Max Payne 3 (Hoping it'll be similar to the first, but it's a tough act to follow and I can't see it happening) rFactor 2
  3. I was going to post another car crash compilation video until I saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j58HfrGRr5s WTF.
  4. My uncle used to have an AX GT. It decided to leak boiling hot coolant onto the floor of the cabin when he was taking it to a garage to get it part-exchanged for another car :p
  5. I think I'll have to venture into Wales one day and hit some of the roads around the Brecon Beacons, they'll be a lot more interesting than the roads around here. Could've gone today actually, but Sunday is car cleaning day, and it's a bit too late in the day now. The only problem with the roads around here is that you could go fast given the chance, but 9 times out of 10 you'll get stuck behind an elderly person out for a Sunday drive for something to do (even if it isn't Sunday), if not a tractor that won't pull in anywhere to let traffic past. Another problem I've encountered since this thread was made is that I now want a GoPro camera but I can't afford one :(
  6. Thread can never die. Bring on more (complicated) words :p
  7. I find them easy enough to understand, but then again I spend most of the day on the phone to northerners, or Irish, or Scottish. That and I'm from the UK so it's not going to be as difficult :p Also in that order as well in terms of how many I speak to.
  8. Got to work, made a huge cock-up of the first thing I did. Spent the rest of the day with more and more working piling onto my desk while I was still trying to sort out the first thing I'd mucked up. Only just managed to sort out the error just before I left so I'm going to have even more work to do tomorrow. Wish I hadn't started, wish I hadn't gone to work.. infact I wish I hadn't got out of bed.
  9. I've got one of those. Pretty much unused as well besides the Vrock and Flash FM disc.
  10. This randomly popped into my head today, don't think I've heard it in almost 10 years, which feels really odd, I'm getting too old: Some quite good R&B/Rap music back in the early 2000s, I remember watching lots of the videos including Eminems on MTV and such-like in the Summer holidays :p None of the new R&B/Rap is anywhere near as bearable.
  11. Here's one I recorded yesterday while driving to my mums. I really did plan on making it more exciting until I got stuck behind the 40MPH brigade most of the way: I did give it some stick in places, but you can hardly hear it
  12. Forgot about a lot of my videos, I actually made them Private on YouTube for some reason. Here's one of the parts from Tenerife in 2010, I wasn't driving, I was filming, so I'm not sure if that still counts..
  13. I guess it depends on how much you think you're going to use it. The videos they produce look great, but it's whether you'll use it enough to warrant spending that much on one. I'd love one, but I wouldn't be able to justify spending that much money on one, unless I started some track-days or something.. :hmmm:
  14. 7.6 hands attached to petrol pump handles? :p Not going to show what I bought because it's got important details on it, but it was car insurance.. and it was quite expensive, but I am insured Fully Comprehensive now with all the extra covers like windscreen and breakdown cover. The latter could be quite handy.
  15. I don't have the heart to give my car some stick. It really needs it to clear out the cobwebs, but I hate revving it past 3000RPM. A couple of days ago I was going to give it some stick when I got on to a dual carriageway but someone pulled out infront of me so I left it, don't think I got passed 3500RPM, luls. I don't think it's seen past that since my dad drove it before I passed my driving test, so my EGR valve is probably clogged up and turbo not much better either. Can't do it now anyway, I think the exhaust is planning its next attack on me after looking at the rear section this morning :p One day there will be nothing wrong with my car... maybe.
  16. They are quite annoying, as are cyclists. Sounds like quite an infruriating moment, but I don't think I would've got to the point of getting out of my car to have a word with him. Knowing the sorts around here that would've given him a reason to find where I live and key my car or something of similar effect. A couple of hand gestures and toot of the horn is enough in most cases, luckily I've only had to do that once so far. My dad once did the simple thing of over-taking a bike, in a completely legitimate place when the biker was going 10MPH under the limit. The biker then sped up and followed my dad back home (only a few miles, but still), my dad pulled the car onto the drive and got out. The biker then pulled up and got off the bike and started ranting and raving, my dad just walked into the house and said "I did nothing wrong" and shut the door. Guy stood there for a few minutes banging on the door before getting the message and buggering off. Flipping idiots think they own the road.
  17. Speaking of cameras, I haven't used my little key-chain camera since I made that commuting video. Might make another video on the weekend driving through the forest unless it's sunny, because that camera doesn't like the sun flickering through trees :p
  18. I honestly didn't think Driver: San Francisco would do that well, I enjoyed it a lot, but I didn't think it'd be able to top Forza 4 in any reviews. I did, however, predict Test Drive Unlimited 2's fate before I clicked the link :p
  19. Interesting camera angle.. recording the video at the time?
  20. In the fashion of old-school programs where they cooked or made stuff and then pronounced half way through that "Here's one I made earlier". Here is one I made earlier (as in last year). It's really boring. It's 25 miles, or 40 minutes, which ever way you want to look at it, so obviously it's sped up.
  21. :p I can't say the word usually in the place of "something" in that phrase. Should've thought of a different phrase, lol.
  22. Yep, nice Land Rover. Not long now until my step-dads 200TDI powered Land Rover Series 2 is on the road. Apparently it goes like something off a shovel as far as he's tested it so far :p
  23. Too much talking, not enough talking. Geddit? Me neither.
  24. I just used my phone while pointing it at my monitor. Could use a camera, doesn't need to have über-HD, just a mic that picks up your voice unless you're planning on editing stuff in Sony Vegas or something :p
