  1. Herp, the Sunday ritual took place today (cleaning the car). Decided to polish and wax it again today, didn't get the finish I wanted, but it'll do for Winter I suppose: No idea why it looks so blue in the photo, lol: Clean 306 Dturbo #1 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr The rub-strips are a bit wavey after I took them off and half of the clips broke so I had to go eco-mode on the remaining clips (door is open, hence the gap): Clean 306 Dturbo #2 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Buhhhh, parking dings, go away: Clean 306 Dturbo #3 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Clean 306 Dturbo #4 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Clean 306 Dturbo #5 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr
  2. "TDUCk is my favourite place in the universe.. for the sake of this anyway" Haha. Nice.
  3. Ok, so this is probably my favourite band now, next to Mithras and The Clash :p https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlVzgAsVI4I No screaming/growling in this one. I also use the same photo as my desktop background.
  4. Done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc7NJWCSDQc Excuses: I have man-flu, so I sound depressed and subdued. That's not a fake excuse either :p
  5. Wasn't expecting a new series that soon. Hopefully Clarkson will refrain from saying controversial things on prime time television until then :p
  6. I probably will give it a go. I'll try and include all the letters in the words though otherwise no-one will have a clue what I'm saying :p
  7. Honestly, if I try this you won't hear half of the words, because with my accent we don't pronounce a lot of letters. or onesly, if i try thi yu wun ear alf uv the wurds caus wi mi accen we dun prununce a loh a le-ahs I might give it a go at some point anyway though :p
  8. I'm not the only one then, my grandfather spent about a month in hospital last year. Ever since he retired he hasn't done much, he pretty much gets up and sits infront of the TV all day, because his knees are pretty weak. The job he did for most of his life up until he retired was driving 7.5 tonne milk lorrys and it always involved him getting in and out of the back of the lorry with pallets of milk which ultimately did his knees no good at all. So because of this and him not getting out much any more, his immune system has suffered and even the simplest cold can make him really ill now. When he was rushed into hospital last, he was really bad, but the hospital staff were reluctant to put him on a life-support machine for fear that he may not come back off it again. He now uses an oxygen machine to get more oxygen into his blood, but I sadly think this is just a temporary thing to hold off the inevitable.
  9. I didn't know that actually :p I've just been playing the game and taking photos as and when. I knew there was a console to use, but I haven't dabbled with it yet.
  10. Sorry, growly vocals warning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsYkuSg95kU
  11. Just the standard game, cropped a bit to get rid of the compass thing at the top, with a bit of Saturation adjustment.
  12. Lol, I took one quite similar to this without realising :p http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/2012-01-02_00005.jpg
  13. Any tips for a newbie to this? Bought this on Steam today and having only previously played Oblivion for the best part of 30 minutes before my Xbox broke and even then I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing. I'm just after any hints/tips on what to do and what not to do, any particular classes worth choosing, etc? I'll probably spend more time taking in the scenery rather than doing quests :p
  14. Same here. I don't like it though, I prefered it when it said 2011.
  15. Final Damage Report: Terraria - £2.99 (Bought a week before it went on sale, but during the sales, woops) Blur - £3.74 Wings of Prey - £2.49 Aaaaaaa! Awesome (Gifted to me from my clan, so no cost) - £0.00 Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition Tomb Raider: Underworld - + AC2 = £6.23 in total Civilization V - £6.79 L.A. Noire - £8.74 Skyim - £23.44 Total Damage: £54.42 Don't think I did too bad considering Skyrim is in there, still could have done with spending less though :p
  16. :( Might as well eBurn the things then.
  17. To hopefully finally find myself a girlfriend as well as be more sociable. foreveralone.jpg
  18. Don't craft any coal today if you have all the Valve games you want because apparently they've run out of games to give away and vouchers from other publishers to give away so all you'll get in return now is %off Valve vouchers. Might as well just keep the coal and hope you win the Grand Prize Draw give-away, or whatever it is. @Clarence: Sorry, Half Life 2 and 50% off Borderlands were claimed yesterday evening, haven't been online to update the status of them. I'm just left with two 25% off Valve vouchers which I might keep and hope CS:GO comes out before they expire and also Men of War: Assault Squad still, which no-one seems interested in so I'll probably give that a try myself at some point.
  19. I've got Half Life 2, 50% off Borderlands: GOTY Edition and 25% off Valve if anyone would be kind enough to offer me just one piece of coal for either of those as they are of no use to me. Got six pieces of coal at the moment, might as well craft another 7 and hope for the best. I'll be getting L.A. Noire, probably.
  20. Spot the odd one out of those Golfs. The one on the left. Wrong grill. Different headlights, different fog-lights, different front bumper altogether and obviously it's a 5-door. Is it even a GTI comes to mind :p
  21. MK1 vRS, remapped, with a clutch that slips because it doesn't like all of the torque, lol.
  22. Cleaned the Skoda yesterday/today. Gave it a going over with some ScratchX and Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, best I could be bothered to do: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/IMG_0105.jpg Did look for the car cleaning thread but I don't know where it's gone, but I'm probably blind. Wasn't worth the update anyway as I don't have any before and afters. Probably would've been better to take the photo using the 500D rather than my phone but never mind.
  23. This time last year if not before, really don't have the time/patience for it with work and everything else. Doesn't help that both hard drives are almost full up as well, I'm always removing things and deleting things and never seem to install anything but they always get full up again. I've never paid for anti-virus in my life. I always go for the free stuff. Usually AVG Free or Avast, but at the moment I'm using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (trial/free version, haven't paid for it anyway). Edit: Tyres are on the wheels, but apparently they can't be balanced at most tyre fitting places because they can't fit my style of wheels on them and the wheels aren't popular enough to warrant buying a seperate machine. So I was told my best bet was to go to a Peugeot or Citroen garage/specialist and see if they'll do it, which means I'll be paying an arm and a leg for that privilage. I'll put them on the car and see what they're like first. Swear everything on this car needs a special tool or machine that no-one has to be able to do anything. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/IMG_0110.jpg
  24. Not keen on the styling of the new Focus myself, but I am a boring person, guess it'll be like most new cars for me where the looks grow on you as the years go by. Looks like it goes well though, doesn't sound too bad either when you give it some revs.
