  1. Well, after seeing the photos of GTA IV with the ENB Series Mod in the GTA Photos thread I decided I wanted to try it so I went on the website downloaded what I needed, put the files where they needed to be, launched the game and nothing changed. So then I patched GTA IV to 1.0.4.0, tried starting the game, and it wouldn't launch. Undetered by this I decided to re-install GTA IV, which I did, then I patched it to 1.0.4.0, downloaded the ENB Series stuff again, started the game and "Hurray!" it worked. Then I decided I wanted to download some cars for it so I did that, installed them using SparkIV, started the game and "Hurray! It still works and I have five awesomesauce VWs and three BMWs to rag around in!". Then I had to go to Tesco so thinking all would be well and work when I returned, I shut the game and the computer down. Got back, started up the computer, started up GTA IV fully expecting it to work. Launch the game, black screen comes up with the stupid Windows 7 spinning circle loading thing which it usually does, then it disappeared like it usually does but the copyright stuff didn't and the black screen went and I was back on the desktop with no error messages to tell me I'm an idiot. Therefore I give up. I'm not that GTA mad any more. Bool Ctory, Sro.
  2. I expected a whole new car, should've figured it would be a face-lift and nothing more :p Coupe looks good, rest look like half-arsed face-lifts. Kind of like what I mentioned in the other thread.
  3. I honestly prefer the hatch to the new sedan/saloon version. The hatch-back version has grown on me some-what. At first I hated it, then I ignored it for ages, then I had a decent look at one last year and I quite like it, with all of the WRX/STI stuff on it anyway. It looks pretty crap otherwise. I don't like the rear on the sedan/saloon version, looks pretty boring/Toyota-ish apart from a large spoiler. I still prefer the older ones (MY2003/04, Hawk-Eye) excluding the bug-eye version, and always will.
  4. I'm getting pretty hyped up about Test Drive Unlimited 2 now, went through a period towards the end of 2010 where I didn't really care about it but now I can't wait for it again.
  5. R32... Blue... 3 door... DO WANT.
  6. In terms of religion and how we came to be, I'm undecided. Neither me or my sister got baptised apparently, and according to Google this means we're automatically condemned to Hell. Something for me to look forward to. I don't hate the people who have a religion and take it seriously, in fact I think they should take it seriously. As mentioned before, the people who try and force beliefs upon others are the people that annoy me. At the moment I'm swayed towards The Big Bang starting it all.
  7. I saw a white Audi R8 Spyder yesterday. Looked quite good in white, even with a black fabric roof. First expensive car I've seen in... a number of months. Although that's a lie now I remember, saw a Ferrari 612 back in late December when we went to pick up my sister's Hyundai. But before that I definitely hadn't seen anything expensive in quite a while.
  8. It's alright, I wouldn't buy one, infact I'd never buy any convertible car because I just don't like them, no matter how masculine they may look. This instantly reminded me of the C-Class though which shows that you don't really need to be creative to get paid in the Automotive industury these days. The same problem that all the German manufacturers seem to have these days. Ooo, look at our A4, it's a slightly smaller version of our A6 which is a slightly smaller version of our A8. We've made the most minimalistic design changes to each car to warrant charging you an extra 20K for each step up.
  9. lol. $21,500 for an interior. Looks great though.
  10. Listen as I fire up the engine, it sounds just like a Golf. Look at the way it looks, it's just like a Golf. Infact... wait a minute, this is just a standard Golf. :p
  11. Finally got a reponse from someone after I sent my CV to them, I've got to call them later to discuss things. Hopefully it'll lead to an interview/job. Freakin' schweeeet.
  12. I really don't care. I'm not buying the game for the clothing/silly Sims aspect to it, I want to drive, therefore I wont be stood infront of a mirror made up of 1s and 0s admiring my stupidly shiney leather jacket. In TDU1 I bought my character a black suit, put it on and that's what he's been wearing for the last 3 years, he must smell a bit. Kind of like me in real life, the only difference is that I do change my clothes often. Derp.
  13. Yeh, I've had a look at it, thanks. Don't know if I'll get a camera or not yet. Really should sort my car out instead of buying a camera, but we'll see :p

  14. In that case, I'll spend my £320,000 on 1p sweets instead :p
  15. £320,000 to spend according to Jazzi, so... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2275670.htm Skoda Fabia vRS - £6000 + a few thousand for MOAR power. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2245149.htm VW Golf VR6 - £3,500 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2378332.htm VW Golf G60 - £7,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2369306.htm Peugeot 306 GTI-6 Supercharged - £6,400 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1243622.htm Subaru Impreza STI 22B - £20,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1591814.htm Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 - £50,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1956268.htm Ford Mustang GT390 "Bullitt" Fastback - £36,000 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2337991.htm BMW E30 M3 EVO 2 - £31,000 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2081744.htm BMW E39 M5 - £9,990 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2386153.htm Porsche 911 Turbo (997) Coupe - £59,995 Total = £235,890 Problem, budget? :p No super-cars because they're too over the top for me.
  16. Buy a chest freezer, insert computer, drill air-tight holes for cabling, problem solved. Use said chest freezer as a desk. Or, if you want to be really awesome. Tip a fridge onto it's side, insert computer, drill air-tight holes for cabling, add delicious refridgerated snacks. Never go to the kitchen for food again.
  17. The meaning of life is to live it to it's fullest. You've been given the chance so do something that makes a difference, be it to your own life, your family lives, your friends lives or even a larger group of people. I went through a pretty weird stage a few months ago when I kept thinking "What was there before I was born?" and then I'd try and think about it, but then I'd trip out for a couple of seconds like I was on some crazy drug so I snapped out of the habit of thinking about that stuff rather sharpish. I've had some crazy De-Ja-Vu moments, but I wont go in to those in depth because people will probably think I'm better off in a home for the mentally ill. I don't know, if you were re-incarnated you probably wouldn't remember your past life. If I was re-incarnated I'd want to be a cat because they do bugger all, all day every day, well mine do anyway. Being a ghost would be pretty cool, as long as you weren't torchered to death or had a completely horrible life before hand.
  18. Some of the Golf. Not really showing photographic skills, just the car, as I'm not allowed to take it anywhere for good pictures. 19. Good news. It's sunny so I'm going to wash my car to finally get all the dirt and crap left from the snow off it. Infact, where's that car washing thread, I might do a before and after thing even though my car still looks scruffy even when it's clean and it's basically silver so it doesn't show up dirt that well. Also did an insurance quote for if I'd passed my driving test and it came back as £1077 which is £700 less than I was quoted for the same details last year. It might seem a lot but looking at what some people have to fork out for car insurance on lesser cars at my age or even a few years older I think it's a pretty darn good quote. Not long until the Furby vRS will be muchos affordable for me :D
  20. Merry birthday Andreaz and Gdsamp. Just realised that this year I'll be 20, I quite like being a teenager :/
  21. Well, this time tomorrow the legend that is the Golf will be going to it's new home ~20 miles away. The guy who came to see it last week ended up buying it and is coming to get it tomorrow evening. For some reason he didn't put in an offer over the phone to my sister but instead waited for the eBay auction to end.. which he lost, temporarily. He bid £1,480 and in the last couple of seconds someone else bid £1,500 and won it, but then the winning bidder obviously changed his mind and started making up loads of crap. So I said to my sister to give a second chance offer to the guy who came to see it last week and she did. So he's coming to get it tomorrow, along with a free interior and set of brake pads and discs which she stupidly said in the advert came with the car for free even though it doesn't need them. Seeing as the interior is the rarer GTI interior like the car already has it could've been auctioned on eBay to return a nice profit but no, she didn't think of that..
  22. I'd might pay for the DLC of another island, as long as it was done properly and not a re-hash/mix of everything that's been made already if that makes sense. My money goes to effort, not copying and pasting things from old maps into different places to make something 'new'. I was going to say music, but they're never going to add any music I like so I'll just leave iTunes on :p Obviously DLC car packs, if I actually like the vehicles in them. I wont be buying a motorbike pack though because I hate motorbikes and I've probably used all of the ones I have in the original Test Drive Unlimited a combined number of ten times.
