1. High chance my car won't be running a Full livery for the race, so expect something like Brawn F1 car! (Sponsors on a basic stripe livery for now). Hope this is okay. :)
2. Always loved this, but came on the radio at work last night and been stuck in my head since. :D
3. Having that sort of reaction, i'd guess don't know just how much a few simple things like what i said can really alter the feel of a car in the real world. Litchfield offer 525hp out of a M4 with just a re-map and Akrapovič Evolution exhaust. likewise AC Schnitzer offer 510hp(Although they don't mention the need for a new exhaust). The weight loss talks for it's self. Amazing how easy tuning is now thank's to turbos and computers. I spend enough time with people who in my area who do such things, everything from Focus's to R8's. - Anyways, surprised nobody has posted about this little gem Toyota are showing about... It's Toyota's answer to the MX5 in terms of size (This thing is smaller than a Ford Fiesta!), sporting a 6-speed manual and and un-confirmed engine. Oh and it's RWD. I like the idea, but that front end look's wayyyy too much like the current Bini range. more infomation can be found @Pistonheads by clicking here.
4. I'm maybe a bit cynical, but for the price and the gains you get I don't think it's worth the £120k price tag. And it's not exactly light (1,510kg) for a track toy. Surely you could get the same result with a normal M4 with a re-map, coilovers, exhaust and removing things you don't need (Air-con & the sat-nav-information system). And cost a whole lot less than the £60k premium. Sure it'll be a great drive, but think this is one for the collectors & deep pocketed M fanboys.
5. Some new information... The V8 is the Ford Coyote V8 which is being tuned by Cosworth for TVR's applications. Reason why the coyote V8 was picked was .. Bringing out 500hp for the first model and can be raised/lowered for future models. Oh, and Le-mans is on the cards, with a racer planned for 2017 and racing in 2018. The engine will be the same and they will be aiming to try keep the street & race engines as close together as possible. :D For more info, including an engine test video...click here.
6. 11th October. GAME ON! :D Although I'll be up front and say, I'll be hungover still....workmates retirement do and all on the Saturday.
7. I've a few models, some in storage at my parents and a few at my flat. :) I've also a Tamiya R332 Skyline io started building wayyyy back in 2012. About 1/4 the way done and haven't touched it since then. :( (Dealt with a brake up and then found employment) Got the main parts painted, was going for Gold body and black bonnet. Really should get back to it...
8. Who said that was't part of the plan all along. :duck:
9. If the Limo can be made to get to class S720... I think i have my new car for the race league!
10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SncwA1V05c So we have the Caparo T1, The 'Silver Arros' pre-war merc, IMSA Nissan 300ZX racer, Honda RA300, Volvo 123 "Amazon", Infinty Q60 Conecpt and a Toyota LMP1 car from 2012.... Oh and a Cadillac limo. More info can be found here.
11. But think of all the scene points to be had by slapping some cheap coliovers it it and putting some generic stickers on it? Rolling in scene points and would look totally sick and generic stance yo, which is what youd want, innit' bruv? Joke aside, if you did consider coilovers, i'd recommend MeisterR's, pricey but I can't fault them one bit on the Civic and neather can anyone I know who run them on there cars, and they can take a pounding. Half the British Drift Championship seem to be using them! Fully height and dampening adjustable. But...if your wanting an MX5 for the pure, simple bliss of man & machine. Leave her be. :)
12. So who Y'all been stalking? :cheeky:
13. Do we have a date for this, or did I miss today?
14. Sadly, it's too little too late... From what i've seen, V-Rally 2's track maker was better. But I'll still be giving this a punt of my tablet thingy supports it.
15. Nice to see they added tank's into the game... Also, the ND MX5 is official... :) Looking good still, just hoping a Luxo barge or two show up.
16. Wait till next year, I'll be bringing it crashing down again. ;) - "Oh I do like to be beside the seaside" Had a chance to plonk the car somewhere it was't allowed, all access to the beach front is threw 1 road, that's a tunnel under the beachfront road, and blocked by a large gate. Gate was open...so took the risk. :) Sadly never had my camera on me, and as tempting as it was to go on the sand for a quick dash decided not to, as got funny look's as it was.
17. Work's for me, as Sunday i'm often free in the afternoon. (Or hungover...) :)
18. 3pm GMT on a Saturday is very unlikely for me if I'm honest.
19. I've been using the 'ol spy swirls look as too busy(lazy) to design a livery... Fair happy with the car of now, but if mit or me(or both) are competitive is another thing altogether!
20. I though the same, and my first choice of car (Engine and drivetrain swaped) made me think the same thanks to the "Forza Fhysics" habit of making you drift everywhere was still in the game. But changed to a car that's RWD from the get-go and actually easier to control even without fine tuning it. :) But for another championship i'd be up for slower/lower class rating cars!
21. i'd be up for a 60's - 70's US Muscle car championship, on American tracks? Set an in game class limit and such like? I'd be honest and say, although I know the names and such of some older US championships I never knew what type of racing it was (be it oval or track) but I know most of them are remembered for the cars, be it the Firebird, Camaro, Mustang to the full blooded Superbird's and such. :)
22. Was 2 weeks ago i was helping the guys at GT Scotland with there last event, as always it did not disappoint... Can see the mix of cars at the event, had supercars/sports car's lined up around the side of the carpark, Saloons in the center left, mixed bag on the right and at the front was classics! :) Was lazy and just linked photo from the Facebook page, so low quality and such. But More photo's "Soon"
23. I never got the hang of car's above A class in Forza 4, and finding a near stock AW11 MR2 intresting in F6 as of now...so i'll give this a bash! Not expecting to be high on the leader board, but it'll be worth the banter! Now to get some testing done with the car (You guys can surely wait to see it...) and buying some XBL would be a massive help as well. :)
24. Tran's-Am was mid-late 60's & early 70's NASCAR if I remember? So most yank tank's from then apply? :)If so, count me in!
