  1. So, you'd have a Daytona with Bugatti 57 physics and you don't want that :)
  2. I'm surprised you're sayin that .... physics can really make mods with particular behavior and nearer to their IRL counterparts. Without cheating/being kicked froms servers; and you know that as tools tester. A clean uninstaller is supported by ModNPlay. And everyone know to make backups, doesn't they ? maybe you should use latest mods from 2CVSUPERGT (XM - Laguna) to realize how much work has been done, not only on the Modding Tools.
  3. Future mods will have more and more physics updates. I don't think you'll appreciate to apply them manually.... it's not just a matter of file copy-paste  And just be patient, the installer will allow body-swap later. As it's obvious there's no room for all mods here (even for the most beautiful ones).
  4. Roadmap update http://forum.turboduck.net/showpost.php?p=196239&postcount=268
  5. http://syfworld.free.fr/tdu/files/Guide-1.11/faq.html 3rd paragraph, please.
  6. Hi, things may change in following weeks. As Tool has just used ModAndPlay for one of his mods; in addition 2CVSUPERGT will provide a user guide about it. So let's hope it will be used more and more :) Anyway, you can install modding parts with Modding Tools>Vehicle Manager, as well.
  7. That will be fixed for next version. :)
  8. Hi all, I'm very busy in my life at the moment, so I can't tell a lot about it. You can modify some car performance (wheel drive) and access online mode as well. @Sambo: if you want clues, just use latest Modding Tools and see what it can bring, by yourself. And it's not memory editing - database only. Btw, I won't publish the latest version here before everything will be resolved, but I think you'll get it on the web without probs.
  9. Exactly. Since TDU:C's staff has more important things to do for keeping the site alive the last few days, I preferred not to cause issues with latest Modding Tools and new physics features. So I've launched a wide testing for this 1.11 out of TDU:C, helping me to find out which (and how many) can be modified or not.
  10. http://forum.turboduck.net/forumdisplay.php?f=93
  11. Yeah, your current rims are not big enough to fit Laguna's requirement. You can: - either replace another car with bigger rims / buy the same car with bigger rims if available - or wait next Modding Tools with a full rim manager.
  12. Simply because this F40 is not the same (except 3D model) as the previously known one and its performance is within server's rules. Sorry to kill your hopes, dude :)
  13. 2CV will sure tell you more detailed things in private, but one thing for sure, every project that 2CV and me will be leading is 100% online compliant. As TDU is nothing without its online mode. Additionally, every feature you'll find here has been tested succesfully in Modding Tools / or will be integrated later by me.
  14. This guy is a HUD-machine ...:D Thanks ! @jurcek : but RT12/RK engines are not the same as Cayman's. Best way is to modify redline in car physics directly, imo.
  15. Good idea, but: - I can't create a database with all max values for each car, as it's more than boring. Moreover this method might be always broken by malicious people. So I won't take the pain to do it. - Anyway, current tests are revealing that the same maximum speed is always respected, whichever gear ratios you set. That's the reason this kind of changes are allowed online. Edit: roadmap update !
  16. Well no, as the patch would not be compatible with online anymore.
  17. translation ? please try again :cheeky:

This method is completely outdated ! Please do not advise anyone to use it. Thanks. Use Vehicle Manager > Datasheet in latest Modding Tools, or Names Editor if you don't have patch 1.67 installed.
  19. Not decided yet. TDU does not handle specific gearboxes, it's just a gearbox inertia setting for each vehicle. That should be possible to modify it. Don't know really, I haven't any clutch enabled controller to verify it.
  20. Roadmap updated for 1.11, concerning physics altering. http://forum.turboduck.net/showpost.php?p=196239&postcount=268 Thanks for reading it.
  21. Like Mellors said, Modding Tools features have been discussed before publishing at TDU:C; if you read the roadmap, you'd know that some things won't be put if they provide unfair advantages. Btw I have to update the roadmap concerning ride height. Bad news, it seems to have real effect on vehicle speed/cornering.
  22. Not a perfect sound mod (we can hear a double engine @ about 5000 rpm), but it's way better than original ones (S6 or A6 stock sounds). I'll keep it for the S5. +rep !
