  1. I say let the customization come on in, but as said by many before, only by actual tuning/customization firms. For instance, if you want to mod your Lambo, go to Hamann. Tuning your 300C? Call up DUB or get some custom work done by the SRT team at Dodge/Chrysler. Got a Mustang? Go crazy at Ford Racing, Saleen, Steeda, or Roush. By limiting customization to the firms that actually do it, the chances of pure fugly finding its way to the streets is reduced greatly.
  2. what are they even used for?
  3. this is the wrong section for car requests anyway isn't it? Edit: seems this has been moved to the correct section
  4. It's truly a visually stunning vehicle, but what I want to know is how well it handles that 1104bhp at the wheels during a corner. All that power is useless if you can only do circles around yourself.
  5. So in order to get people who didn't like the game to buy the next version they decided to punish the ones who did like the game? One of the things that I liked most about TDU was the fact that there really were no limits on what cars you could buy other than if you had the money or not. Dealers don't ask you for a license that matches the car in order to buy it in real life, so why should they do it in game? I would be for the driving schools if they were just to make you a better driver or even to open up more races, but if you have to pass a test to buy a car, I may end up avoiding the next Test Drive.
  6. his drift
  7. yeah, I don't like the red leather either, but that was the only picture of the interior I could find.
  8. Yes! I agree that we need this version of the CTS-V! I love the aggressive styling that they gave it! Much better (imo) than the previous body style.
  9. Despite knowing that most modders don't take requests, here's mine: The 2010 Mustang GT. I really like this restyle of the Mustang and was wondering if anyone out there cares enough to give the in-game Mustang the update to the new style. maybe the new rims too
  10. nope. you need version 2.1.1 or later (i believe that's the version required)
  11. if it follows what TDU did, then it will start on 360, find its way (poorly) to PC, then slowly make its way over to PS2/3
  12. I have found the ultimate gaming wheel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlkmhGuXIO8
  13. Nope. When it's a car it's called a Bimmer, when it's a bike it's a Beemer.
  14. link is working for me now. my internet must have just been retarded.
  15. Full carbon fiber interior and hood maybe?
  16. well its a 5 liter V-10, so what is closest to that?
  17. So that's how much money Obama wants the US taxpayers to fork over.
  18. OMG! Boss 429 :D:D:D:D I will be watching this one
  19. someone might be able to do the pod gauges (which really do look awful in a Lambo) but they wouldn't do anything. As far as the stick shift goes, I don't think that a car that is flappy paddle in game can be converted to stick shift, since doing that relies on files that the community hasn't figured out how to mod yet. You could have the stick in the center console, but your avatar would still waggle his/her fingers in the air behind the wheel to shift without you having to press down the clutch.
  20. from what I have seen some of the modders talking about, folding mirrors wouldn't be able to be implemented with the windows, since the objects that the game sees as windows only move on an up-and-down axis, whilst folding mirrors (or the flaps on a Murcielago) need to rotate around a fixed point.
  21. If carrying friends as passengers around actually makes it, I wonder if that means they would be able to 1) Hear what your radio is playing, 2) Control their window individually from yours, and 3) Hire someone else to do a "Vehicle Delivery" of their car to get it back to their house while they are riding with you, but if they don't, then they need to hire someone else to do a "Hitch-hiker Mission" from wherever they were dropped off back to their car (if walking isn't an option). The third one may be a bit much, but I think it would be pretty cool if it were implemented into the game.
  22. True enough, but the push-down feature on the G25 is one of the main things that goes wrong (and what is broken on mine), so it's more of a durability feature that I'm hoping for.
  23. If you want one that bad, high-tail it down to a Lambo dealer and tell them what you want. If they know that you are good for it then they will order one for you. If they aren't taking orders then ask them to pre-order or reserve one.
