  1. The big difference between making official models for a game and creating a model from scratch as a mod is that game developers are making money by selling the game, modders usually don't take fees for a mod by putting it out for free. Modders which take money for mods are stupid imo anyway
  2. I have had business administration in design topic for 3 years, and can tell you that this actually IS legal, as you are "quoting" the design by making a 3D model using their logos. A 3D model is never 100% accurate, so it's not a 1:1 copy, which indeed makes it properpty of the creator.
  3. Good, that's how you progress, always compare to a real model :) And just don't rush, quality over quantity
  4. As a tip, always google both - interior and exterior - to make sure you don't make anything wrong :) As you can see, the stitching is really probably twice as big in your mod than it is in real life :)
  5. Amazing! :) I am thinking to re-install my TDU just for that :cheeky: though I don't have time to play right now, so I probably gonna wait till the "Update TDU" Patch version instead of the Database replacement (in case this didn't happen already, otherwise I desperately need to play, but I still don't have time  )
  6. But the 458 mod did exist too  I don't quite get your point
  7. Why not? Every modder can do the cars he wants to make. There were about 3 different Ferrari 458's the time I did mine.
  8. I am pretty sure it was the other way around
  9. Do you actually know what an Alpha channel in a texture is used for? :) You really should use it.
  10. That's the base TDU leather color material when you use the C*_ materials. Unfortunately there is no way to make it look better, that's why I sometimes think to left out the feature on my future mods any time soon.
  11. Does it glow up when you press the light? :D I always want to be one step ahead so you better find out how to do it! :D
  12. You mentioned to send you my plate once but you never wrote me so i still got it :D the MHE POX one
  13. Youve fixed the hand dummies, nice
  14. Oh okay :) Well, first of all, except the white Supersprint M3, they all sound the same () But I can't really tell what sounds more like his one, because his one is stock :cheeky:
  15. Well Forza uses the same models since FM3 on some. I think to have seen the exact same 996 GT3 in FM3 and FM4. So, nothing really new, yes
  16. Oops my bad :fp: yeah they are indeed regular lights.. Still, maybe it should be not so bright and a bit more red :) hope I dont have confused you
  17. The lights in picture 2 are fog lights not the regular night lights :)
  18. :wtf: you act like modders are little kittycats which feel offended by any little comment of improvement? When modders leave because people tell them improvements, they can feel free to leave because we don't need modders which don't feel to improve their mods.
  19. Stylecoco: everyone can post their opinions even if they dont mod. When i eat a bad pizza i can say its a bad pizza even if i cant make better ones by myself
  20. You just have to move the steering wheel dummies up! :) so that the person really holds the steering wheel, not inside it
  21. Nice mod :) But I'm pretty sure the original model is from Driver: San Francisco! :) I have it too. You really improved your quality, I like the interior. But the steering wheel dummies are still wrong.
  22. The stock Wiesmann sound in TDU comes pretty close to be honest :nods:
