Teleport and found no one?

Hi! I'm new to TDU online game. I find that sometimes I teleport to a person who's shown on the map and then find no one (the number in the bottom left corner is 1). Is this normal?

Yes, if the person you are trying to jump to is in a full server (8 players) then it will put you by yourself.

 

Sometimes TDU just puts you in another server for no reason and you have to go back to the map and try again, if however it hasn't worked after several attempts then that server is probably full, leave it a few minutes and try again. Hopefully someone will have left the server by then and you'll be able to join.
