X Box Memory Unit

Hi guys, I have a memory unit set up for retreiving pics off my Test Drive and converting onto the PC. My question is this - I wanted to take soem music off my PC and put it on the X Box so I thought I would use my Memory Unit but if I try and paste a track onto it I get the message along the lines of "E: Drive Not Formatted: Format Now?" but if I do format it will I lose the ability to transfer pics on it??

Umm, you can't store pictures/movies/music on the 360 from an external source. You can view them from a USB drive, External HDD, Digital Camera etc but view them is all you can do. The only images the 360 will store on its HDD are those taken during games. The only music it will store is from CD's you have ripped using the 360.

the MU isnt really for that stuff, you can use a flash drive (USB) and watch movies, play music and look at pics and share them on photo party, the MU is more for moving around ur game saves or profile to take to a mates place, or pictures.. i suggest you just use a usb for that, or get a capture card for better quality than a tranfer kit :)
