i need help because when ever i start tdu is says SecuROM™ has determined that you are trying to start the application with an image of the original disc. Please be informed that SecuROM™ protected applications will not work with an emulated image of the original disc. but it IS A ORIGINAL DISK and it still says this after i have deleted dameon tools does anyone know how to fix this :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Deamon Tools installs Ring0 drivers (bit like a rootkit) so it can be very hard to get rid of effectively short of a format. But first try cleaning out any remains of your TDU install and re-installing it again.

Also, uninstall TDU, remove SecuROM, reinstall using the original disk, delete Radial.CDB (use search to find it) and the CDkey file in the same folder as the Radial, and then run the game.

 

As far as uninstalling Dae... what's-it, if you use Regedit you may have more luck in removing that kind of thing. I don't know the specifics of removing a Ring0 program, other than that it's difficult.

Do not use anything other than the disc for TDU.

That why you wont have any problems :D

Yes, that too, but I figured that it was implied by "original disk".

 

On that note, though, make sure your disk is legal - even if you bought it from someone, you may have bought it from someone who sold you a cracked version. Your location says you're in the US, so I find that unlikely.
