*+* Another noob, same old problem*+* I beg for a little help!

Greetings to everyone!

First of all I want to thank to all the best modders I ever saw and for all theyr work. It's awesome and for sure it tooks so many hours of work. I raise my hat everything they done for us!

Now...as I said, I'm a noob, and after I bought an genuine TDU game I started to explore everything on it. It is a great game and I will spend for sure many hours playing it. But, I was trying the other days to add a new car into my game and after I saw that I need the DJEY's Magic Map I download it from here and had try to figure out how it works. I think I get it but my new car still make my game to crash every time I go to the shop and buy that car. I replaced the new car file with the older one and bought that car, have it already in my garage now. I put the new one again into the vehicle folder and click Accept for the replacing. Things are just like it was before...Every time I try to drive that new car my game crash suddenly. I've tryied with few other cars but the same trouble bothering me again and again. I was follow exactly what was wroten on the 'read me file' and I'm sure I've done everything correctly but...there still is a problem. I must say that after I install the game I install the 1.66 patch too, so it can be played on-line. Everything was ok, no error, no crash. But after I put that new file with the car game crashed. I don't have the Megapack yet.

I was looking here for an answer but...I think there are so many threads that I got lost, maybe there is something but I didn't saw yet, really sorry if this issue was explained before. Thank you all for patience and for all the help you will bring me, I really hope that I will made it to drive all these wonderful cars you've made for us. Keep up the very good work my friends, you are the best on this! All my respect!

maybe it would be helpful to know whet car you were tryinig to replace and with what mod

It wasn't just one, it was several cars with which I try that, but the first one was an BMW M3 E46 which replace the original CLK_55.bnk files. Few from the other models I've try are: Honda CRX, Honda NSX, Holden Astra, Audi S5. None of those worked, every time my game crashed. And I add those exactly how the "read me" file said:

 

Put the files into your install dictonary into Vehicules. For Example mine would be:

 

 

'C:Program Files/Atari/Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/BNK/Vehicules'

 

 

If it asks to replace Accept it!

How to install new rims:

 

Put the files into 'Rims' folder For Example mine would be:

Well, that's I wanted to, enjoy my new cars but...looks like I've done something wrong there :((

Please feel free to ask me more, maybe I don't know to explain exactly my problem, I really wish to make those to work. All my mods are from TDU-C, it's my only place for this. So I am sure that all these must work, there must be something wrong with my DJEY's Map or something.

If i understand correctly, you put Magic Map BEFORE installing 1.66A Patch? If you did so, you must download Magic Map for your version of TDU, which is 1.66A without MegaPack ;]

Yes, you have right on that Adzian, I didn't know that there is an 1.66A version of DJEY's Map. I will look after it right now. Thanks for your suggestion.

Well, Adzian, you had perfectly right. After I get 1,66A Map version everything looks to be great. No more crashes any more. Any of those cars I try to use before working just perfect now. Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it!
