V1.2 Released with a MAJOR BUGFIX

Please download if you have v1.1 installed.

 

Bug fixed: The sound had a 0.20 seconds of silence at the end so it didn't sound good when playing in a loop. Everything is fixed now.

 

I am a little dissapointed in the Youtube quality. The sound is based on two samples: one from youtube and the other from NFS Shift.

Anyway I hope you guys enjoy it, knowing that it's my first mod ever in TDU:D

That loud sound would work on a car like a Noble M12, but not all the other turbo cars in TDU. But still great mod, definitely will download when the loud noise is fix

Yes, I tried on 3 different software.

try REAPER or audacity. you can easily turn them down. If you want, Ill fix it

 

EDIT: I played with Audacity and turned the levels down. It sounds amazing with anything with turbo/supercharger.

The sound itself doesn't overpower the engine, but it sounds about right where the normal volume of a turbo should be.

Lol, but I SWEAR i tried with audicity and 2 more converters. When i played the sample with windows media player it was more quiet, but in TDU it was the same.

I copied the common file over the one in sound/vehicules.

In the prievew video there was V1.0 which was pretty loud. As people had been complaining I released new versions with it quieter.

Anyway this is not a car engine sound mod. This is just a Turbo Sound Mod (that's why the thread's title is "Turbocharger Sound Mod") so the "Turbo sssst" is what you should get ingame.

This sound works on every car which has the turbocharger enabled. Usually cars which have turbocharger/supercharger in real life. And there are Installation notes in the Readme.;)

Could you upload this, but without the little break mod? If I break now in the game, you can hear a little peeping sound from the breaks, like they are getting older. But my new and shiney car has great breaks so I don't want them to peep already. :p
