Hello,

I'll be very happy to give you some advices on making models with Zmodeler2.

First, you must found a tutorial like the one on http://www.zmodeler2.com if you speak english

http://www.zmodeler2.com/index.php?mode=docs

or, if you speak french, my own tutorial:

http://tdumodshop.forumactif.net/3d-modelling-f3/tutoriel-zmodeler2-pour-debutant-t80.htm

plus this one for zmodeler1 that gives good principles:

http://damscoq.free.fr/vice_city/tutoriaux/zmodeler.html

An other very important advice is to be patient. That is the first quality of a good modeler, because a good model takes between 1 month and 1 year of work, and tdu need accurate interior modelization without any print.

Make a model that you really like, because it is the source of motivation, and show the WIP in forums to found some help and take new source of motivation in messages of members.

I hope you really try this challenge, when you pass the first weeks of difficulty, it's very cool to think that you can modelize anything you want and put it in game.

So good luck and read you soon(I hope so):)

I don't think you can judge difficulty with precision in less than 1 hour. I have same reaction years ago, so I understand you.;) But don't forget to reconsider your position about modelization when you'll be ready.

It is hard because it is long, but it is not too hard. Every body can make it. You just need time(1-2months) to learn the tools and to let your brain make modifications "to see on 3D"(same way that learn to read but easier).

http://damscoq.free.fr/vice_city/tut.../zmodeler.html is for Zmodeler1

But all the others must be valid(more or less) for all versions of Zmodeler2.

I used ZM2 from 2.0.6 to 2.2.2 and I did not see very important changes(there are minor changes, like new filters or default option settings, that don't really change the use or the way of modelization)
