Linking Youtube videos

Hello guys.

I have a problem, or maybe is the forum.

But when i put a link of youtube inside here so it got shown, it appears in blank and is the second time that this happens. (the last 2 times that I linked a video)

 

Is it forbidden now to link Youtube videos? ( maybe was disabled this option for the orum, i dont know)

Hey Rodrighazzo, youtube video embedding is enabled on this forum but you have to do it in a certain way.

 

Currently you've been copying and pasting the whole URL into the TUBE tags. But the only thing that should be inside the TUBE tags is the code in the URL after the V=

 

For example, you just need to copy and paste the red bold parts on the link below.

 

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjihcuJOa8s

 

 

It should look like the below code minus the exclamation marks.

 

[TUBE!]gjihcuJOa8s[/TUBE!]

ahhhh i forgot that was like that, because after I made the topic, I tried to check the rules, and there wasnt the explanation. ( If I'm not wrong, before there was something related to this)

In other vBulletin is different, with just put the link it will appear, so well I make that mistake.

Because otherwise it would link the video and you wouldn't be able to see the bbcode.. :fp:

While we're on this topic, didn't we use to have Vimeo embedding as well? Is it still there?
